Unless I am seeing my sons normal dr the wait in the exam room is RIDICULOUS. I have a 2 year old who wants to get in to everything, sitting in the Exam room for 45 minutes waiting on a dr is not ideal. The people who schedule appts mess them up almost every time. I scheduled an appt for 9:30 and apparently the appointment was put in for 9 instead. Had I not been set up with the text notification I would have showed up at 9:30 and they would have not been able to get us in. If it wasn’t for Sydney we would have switched locations a long time ago.

Every time we come it's the wait is unacceptable long. My daughter's appointment was at 10. Its 10:29 and we are still in the lobby. Many parents have to take time off from work to come. They finally saw us at 10:48. Many of the doctors are excellent but the wait is miserable

This office has gone to hell sense Dr Lever left . I call to get my daughter seen for cellulitis(which my child has had before and has a history of) and am told that they can't call in her normal meds to cure it without a visit sense Dr Lever left.. okay fine I understand so I ask them to please call penquis cap and tell them it's an emergency appt so we can get a ride today. ( if the doctors office doesn't call we have to call 72 hours before an appt to get a ride, except with doctors documentation for an emergency). Oh no they can't do that, I explained about penquis and got a very skeptical "you can't find a ride?" Uhm, no I cant not that it's any of your business as to why. She then told me well clearly it isn't cellulitis or I am not concerned for my daughter's well being because I cant get her in today or for that matter before thursday. I told her I would be bringing her to we instead.. Maimecare gets all mad when you use the emergency room as a primary care doctor and i understand that but when you physically can NOT get your child to the primary care doctor and they are being cruel and ignorant and unhelpful what else can you do? Because honestly if i go to the emergency room by ambulance they call penquis to transport home by emergency ride. My daughter needs to be seen and you had better bet I will NOT be calling this doctors office. If your low income, have lynx/penquis, or ride the bus id recommend you find a different pediatric office that actually cares about children.

Being a first time parent comes with its challenges. For example, being on time and having multiple questions. Our three visits were less than impressive. It's an average of 30-45 minute wait to be seen (two 7am appointments and one 1pm appointment)- waiting is understandable for late day appointments due to other patients needs. I would recommend establishing a text system so that parents can be texted 5-10 minutes prior to being seen. This will allow patients to remain in their vehicle until it's time to be evaluated. Who wants to be exposed to additional germs when it's not necessary??? The staff was rude and judgmental regarding our concerns and our parenting decisions. At one point, when my partner asked a few questions, we were told "I suggest you read a book" and then wrote the title down on our discharge paperwork. When you're a parent, especially a new parent, you expect to receive support from the medical professional you've selected. Yes, not everyone agrees on the various parenting styles but no matter the circumstance the experience should be respectful.

Very pleased with quality of care and facility. Parking was always a bit of a challenge though.

Well my daughters are still waiting to go for there first well child checks due to the fact that they are a very busy place, but we have used there walk in care a couple of time, and both times have been great experiences. They were great with my girls and myself. It was a breath of fresh air from our last pcp because he never seemed truly concerned or interested in what was going on with them. Thank you pchc peds for truly caring!!!
