This is for William Leschey: Not very insightful at all. Gave me a couple of backhanded "compliments", and made some really inappropriate comments during session. I switched therapists after his awkwardly creepy fixation on my partner's physique, and comments about how "he must be a fine specimen." It is NOT appropriate for a male therapist to pry for five minutes into my physical and sexual attraction to my partner. Filed a complaint with Maine Behavioral that went nowhere. Every time I inquired about it, his behavior was defended, or I got "huh, that's weird. Anyways...", or "Oh I'll need to look into that..." and no call back. I am not the type of client to raise trouble, but from February until I left the clinic several months later, it was a complete cluster. It got to a point where even the receptionists were like "What the heck is going on?"

Sarah S Taylor was the only reason I went there in the first place. When she left I gave Lisa Barry two visits, noting that she spent more time looking at the computer and made eye contact with me zero times. It was like she wished I would go away. Didn't ask how I was or about my life, just turned to the keyboard and that's it. Screw it. I chose depression over being denigrated.

The voice Within

I did couples counseling in 2015, I tried to get my records for a case. They blackened everything even though it was on my insurance. The therapist also implied I was the one with issues because I had numerous therapists. Which I have come to realizing now that it was illegal to say.

Useless organization. Useless staff. Provides false hope. Do not listen to clientele. Just drug runners for pharmaceutical companies.

Was referred here after my psychiatrist left my PCP office. The first visit the intake woman asked If I hit my child, who asks that!? Well I got cancelled on THREE times before I finally got in again, found out this rude doctor is trying to give me a NEW diagnoses (I’ve been seen by many psychiatrist for 11 years) she is misdiagnosing based on an hour conversation and didn’t even ask any questions about the issues I am already diagnosed with. The woman I saw after her was nice but I told me a medication I’ve been on for a year they would want to reduce by 3 times less if they took over the prescription from my PCP. This place is awful I am searching online for a different psychiatrist.

Great friendly staff. They are always smiling and patient. Dr. Leschey has helped me tremendously over the years. I highly recommend maine behavioral Healthcare.

They have helped threw some pretty dark time over the past 5 years. Sara Street, and Julia are the best anyone can ask for. They both really care.

I've been trying to get in to see someone about med management, but they require a referral. I've now asked my PCP three times to send it over. They have, and confirmed that the fax was accepted. MBH still has no record of it. I think that their fax line leads directly into a shredder.

I have been a patient for over two years for medication management. Sometimes it is hard to get through on the phone, but I find that to be largely true with most health facilities. I feel very comfortable and heard. The office staff is really nice. My provider is just awesome. The management I feel is handled Quite well, I really don’t have anything negative to say about the providers or treatment. I prefer Maine Behavioural over other Mental health agencies by far. Thanks!

Not good. Went in for eval and medication, and the doctor decided that the medication I have been on previously (several years) was too addictive, making me a drug addict. Doctor told me, and I quote "if I prescribe you this medication, it's the same as me giving you a bottle of Jack Daniels". This comment blew me away. And all I could do was just laugh. First off, I don't have an alcohol problem, nor a substance use issue, especially not with the medication I have been on consistently. But again, basically equated me to a drug addict, alcoholic, etc. Went to one appointment and would NEVER go back. Nice job with the discrimination work, Maine Behavioral Healthcare!

Beth Dube is the Best nurse practitioner I have ever had. All in all my experience with Maine Behavioral Healthcare has been a great one.
