Okay, so I'm not sure that this Facebook page is active, but the information is accurate as far as the address and such. I wanted to leave a review for people who may have found themselves in the same boat as I did. I visited multiple clinics in an attempt to find relief from my anxiety disorder and panic attacks, and had absolutely no luck. One clinic determined I wasn't worth treating because I didn't score high enough on clinical scales of depression (which wasn't even what I was presenting with; further, as a psychometrics graduate myself, I know that one should never rely solely on clinical scale assessments). The second actually threatened to "put me in the shred pile" and "not treat me" because I held a job that would not allow me to call them back to reschedule an appointment THAT DAY. I missed the appointment because the time was wrong on my appointment card, so not even my fault. I write all this to say... these issues led me here. The people here at River City are FANTASTIC. They're nice, caring, professional, and understanding of schedule conflicts. They have a psychiatric doctor come in WEEKLY for medication management (almost unheard of around here--most clinics have doctors that visit monthly). They accept my insurance (a rarity with Medicaid). I've seen Dr. Agarwal (within a week of assessment), was given medication to suit my needs, am awaiting scheduling for counseling, and am already feeling much more like myself.
