My wife and I have had continuous health care with Dr. Briscoe's office for over 8 years now, and obviously have been very pleased. In the previous 9 years before we found out about Dr. Briscoe, we had mental health services with other providers. In my opinion Next Step's staff are more progressive than the previous providers we have had, and because my wife and I are both professionals that operate a business, it is very important that we are with the best people for our mental well being.

Dr. Brian Briscoe really helped me return my life to normal. My whole life I thought I struggled with OCD as it ran in the family. After some reasearch I wanted to get checked for adult ADHD instead. After an extensive 1st visit he verified my assumption that I did have ADHD. He put me on a low does of medicine (as I am terribly afraid of medicine) and it literally has helped me change my whole life. He kept my thoughts and fears of medical treatment in mind and help me find a system, including a book to read, that truly helped my life get better. Thank you Dr. Briscoe!

I wish I could give more stars. The care we get here for my son is very good, but nobody ever answers the phones, gives reminders about appointments, calls back when you leave a message, or calls pharmacies back with refill requests in a timely manner. When I have come in to the office, the receptionist area is often empty or slow to respond. Most recently, my pharmacy's call for an updated refill prescription went unanswered for 3 weeks, causing my son to be without his meds for well over a week. I love my son's doctor, but we may need to look elsewhere at this point. UPDATE: Since publishing this review, I have been in touch with the office and they have rectified the situation. So I have raised my review by 2 stars. In time, I hope to elevate it further as it is under new management. Time will tell.

After many years of failed attempts at treatment with my child and lots of online searching for doctor's I came across Dr. Alphonso Nichols. I called the office to get more information but the minute I started talking I completely fell apart! I was totally embarrassed! The lady I talked to was ever so understanding and kind to me. She answered all my questions and even shared with me about her own battle. Our conversation left me with a sense of hope. Molly B.
