My girlfriend has Matt has a representative payee. He would refuse to write her checks for groceries, rent, and daily living expenses, always making excuses. He tried to block me from becoming her Payee when she moved from KY to MI, and stalled paying her rent for over 4 weeks. It is the 2nd week of Jan and she has been living in MI for almost 3 weeks. I had to cover her security deposit, rent, groceries, phone bill and everything else she might need because he keep saying he was mailing out the checks and never did. He also leaves early everyday, is sick at least one day a week and doesn't come in. And the management is a joke. I tried to contact his supervisor a number of times, and got only voicemail, to which I never received a call back. I think this company is skimming off the top of their clients and that is why they are so defensive and aggressive when clients want to leave. Interestingly enough, my gf requested copies of her monthly statements for the past 6 months in November and has yet to receive those either. Stay away and do not let your family members go here. This place is definitely dealing in shady practices.
