My granddaughter had her initial session with Jessica at the Darby Creek Office on Dec. 17th. Prior to this appt. I had met with Jessica to give her some major concerns with my granddaughter so she would be more prepared. After my granddaughter’s appt. on Dec. 17, I was to receive some feedback from the therapist. I called the office twice on Dec. 18th, no return calls. I finally received a call on Dec. 19th from Jessica stating that since my granddaughter didn’t want to be in therapy there was nothing she could do. I inquired about other counseling/intensive services for her, and she said would speak with Paul Dalton, Head of the business & get back with me. As of Dec. 28th, I haven’t received any calls. In my opinion, I don’t think you should give up on a client after one session. Just because someone says they don’t want therapy initially doesn’t mean that a diligent therapist can’t bring about a positive change with a client where they may be more receptive to sessions. A client should be your major priority. You are suppose to be the professional in your field and work with your client to find the best options for them. They’re not to be discarded as if they don’t matter. I selected your office because of the great client reviews, but i’m going to be the exception and wasn’t impressed.

Paul Dalton and his vast team of dedicated helpers are second to none. Paul was my first supervisor out of grad school and taught me most of what I know today. We continue this mentorship today. He hired me to his private practice with the hiring motto "I only hire people I would send my family to". The office staff and people are ethical, efficient and excellent in what they do. I'd still be with him in his practice but my wife got relocated to Cincinnati. We still maintain weekly contact and collaborate often. I own my own practice thanks to Paul's guidance. He's my 'go-to' guy for any questions I have about counseling, either administratively or clinically. You can't go wrong going here.

The atrocious and ineffectual messaging systems has nothing to do with the phone carrier. It is between the person that takes the message and the person that gets the message. There is no empathy, concern or sense of urgency, in answering messages. No physicians are not allowed to take Medicare. Refills can be written on prescriptions, so patient does not have to keep coming back. 5/30/19. My comment was not regarding prescriptions being filled over the phone, and blaming the lack of returning phone calls on Spectrum, is an obfuscation. Charging $80 for an older person to get a prescription refill is unforgivable. Repeated attempts by owner with Damage Control 101, are not believable. I was told that Dalton's office did not accept Medicare, because there was too much paperwork involved. Psychiatry should have more compassion and calls should be returned.

I love coming here. The staff is extremely sweet and always willing to answer your questions. And the counselors are just absolutely awesome. They are not worrying about entering your information into a computer/tablet or even worrying about collecting your money. They are there for you and they listen. I also enjoy how the waiting rooms are NOT crowded. I feel more confident as well. I have been to two other locations for a therapist and I must say that this is by far the best place I have been and will continue going to.

After a billing issue caused by an honest mistake, the staff of Paul Dalton quickly contacted me personally and resolved the issue with me making sure that the problem was immediately attended to, they were extremely helpful and kind to me and left me feeling much better by the end of the interaction.

Without Paul's expertise and guidance I would not be where I am today. Paul was my clinical supervisor while I worked for a non-profit agency in Kentucky. He would not hesitate to make time to talk to me outside of our scheduled supervision times when I had any clinical questions or concerns. While meeting with him, not only did I gain valuable knowledge to put into practice, but I could tell how much he cared about the wellbeing of the clients on my caseload. As my supervisor, Paul pushed me to be a better clinician. He was never late for our meetings, never cancelled for other reasons, and was completely invested for the duration of our sessions whenever we met. You can trust your contact and insurance information to Paul and the whole office. They are very compliant with healthcare regulations concerning the privacy of your health care information.
