Loved the therapist we saw but sadly we will never go back. The receptionist/office manager whoever she is, is crass, rude, & insulting. I tried to explain to her that our mental health services were through a different insurance than our medical and she argued with me, told me she was an expert and I needed to "let her do her job". Of course the claim was denied by our medical insurance. I contacted our mentel health insurance company where they saw the therapist was in network. Tried explaining that she needed to file with the correct insurance & she refused. We later got a bill when we have in network benefits she never filed. Had my mental health insurance call her to file the claim. The insurance rep agreed that she was "very rude & unprofessional"and claimed I never gave her the correct information!! She's hateful & a liar. I don't know how she keeps her job other than by nepotism. I wish we could go back to see the therapist, she was AMAZING but thanks to the front desk woman's behavior we'll never go back. Heed this warning if you're thinking of going there: Don't. The front desk woman will verbally attack you. Not something you need when going to counceling.

I tried to make an appointment and the person setting the appointment (who was surprisingly the office manager I believe) was extremely rude to the point I called back and cancelled. Anyone working in a therapeutic environment who treats patients that way should be fired. Maybe she should see the therapist she is making appointments for. This sort of extremely poor customer service is a staple of Kentucky so maybe others may somehow be ok with that, but I am not.

Counselors are very nice and professional. Older receptionist is rude and nasty. She has a terrible attitude and needs to be replaced. She works in the right place and should make her self an appointment to talk to a therapist. Again, therapists seem nice and great.

I really like everyone here. My counseling sessions are very thorough and professional, and always with a smile. I don't feel uncomfortable like I have in other therapy situations and it never feels like I am "just another client", rather, like a friend and confidant. Amber is wonderful and kind, she has helped me find a better way to communicate my feelings in just the few sessions we have had so far. I like the location bc it's right around the corner from my home and super easy to get to and find parking, even during the busiest hours of any day. I would highly recommend Hilltop Counseling to anyone. They accept our insurance which is a must, as well. Check this place out. I have been greeted warmly and treated with a smile each time I've been there. I hate there are only 3 reviews besides mine bc the avg of 3.5 doesnt reflect the awesomeness of my experiences.
