DESCRIPTION

Here you have all the information of people who use the services and products of Edelson & Associates (Psychologist) near Kentucky.

Right now this firm receives a rating of 3.1 stars out of 5 and the rating was based on 13 reviews.

As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is discreet, and it's based on quite a few feddbacks, so the rating is more or less accurate, although it doesn't have a large number of evaluations to grant it full reliability.

As you know, we don't usually bother to place tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

This Psychologist is included in the category of Psychologist.

REVIEWS OF Edelson & Associates IN Kentucky

My son was evaluated by Edelson and when I received the report for services it had ANOTHER CHILD'S NAME in the report in 3 different places!!!! I did not take off work and pay out of pocked for an evaluation for "professionals" to copy and paste from another child's evaluation. Unacceptable practice! When I called to question, Mr. Edelson directly told me there's nothing they can do except have me come in so they "could convince me it was my son's results". So disappointing and back to square 1 getting help for my child.

I worked with Dr. Levinson who was truly exceptional and went above and beyond the expectation. I understand why this office is so highly recommended.

I didn’t even get to the point of using their services because Jessica, the person with whom I spoke and requested information from, was so nasty. I was extremely clear in articulating my needs; expressed them in multiple ways immediately upon realizing there was a breakdown in communication. In response, Jessica was snarky, condescending and nasty. When I asked for the office manager, Jessica laugher audibly, told me to hold, then hung up on me. I called back and the office manager made excuses for Jessica, talked over me and made no semblance of even wanting to course correct. Instead of simply saying, “Ma’am, I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience with Jessica. I’ll discuss this further with her and coach as needed,” she argued with me and belabored conversation around Jessica’s side of the story, based on what Jessica told her. All moot bs, that’s not how you handle a customer concern. Attitude reflects leadership, so Jessica behaves like a petulant child because that’s what’s modeled for her. Unacceptable. Given the nature of the business these people are in, I’d expect the admin staff to have apex customer service skills and decorum. Nope. Like I told the office manager: This practice isn’t the only one in the area that does what they do. That said, it’s a shame that the doctors amassed all the education they have just to have at least two truculent brats working for them and behaving if they’re beyond reproach.

The professional we saw was reassuring and friendly. Wish we could say the same for the person at the front desk the day we were there. Not friendly at all. Seemed put out by everyone. The person we’ve talked to on the phone to make appointments was very friendly. A receptionist or front desk person is the first to come in contact from the beginning. Even if you are having a bad day or pregnant or whatever..... put forth an effort. The client is not being treated right. The client is not the problem.

One office staff person in particular was very rude and condescending by phone twice and then again in person. We waited two months for the appointment otherwise we’d have gone elsewhere. The main receptionist was very nice. Parking isn’t an issue. I work in this field and it’s a shame to see people with attitudes like that working in mental health.

After reading all of the negative reviews I was extremely hesitant to call the office but the doctor came highly recommended. I am so thankful that I did, the lady that answered the phone was so kind and nice that all of my concerns immediately vanished. I learned the receptionist with all of the negative reviews is no longer working at this physicians office. I hope the future appointment goes just as well. Fingers crossed

Very rude person that answers the phone. Not going here if that's how they treat people!

Friendly and professional, the results of my daughter's evaluation were spot on. I feel confident the recommendations will be successful.

Office staff with no regard for patient need only with keeping appt spots full. Staff cancelled appointments without notifying patient even after phone call was made confirming cost and appt time. After waiting over 2 months for appointment, walk in to find appt was cancelled due to poor record taking of office staff. Confirmation phone call was never documented as complete so appointments were cancelled out. No flexibility in schedule to work patient in for another 2 months. Will not return here.

Yes, the front desk girl (the one who was pregnant at the time) is a bit rude, but other than that we had a great experience. Dr. White was very kind and professional. He explained the results of my toddler's evaluation where everyone could understand and I felt he was very spot on with his assessment.

We have used edelsons on and off for 7 years for our two sons. They have always been been helpful and provided useful information . I fully trust their guidance, experience and expertise. I would recommend them to anyone. It is comforting to know I can go to them when we need help.

I had the pleasure today of getting a neuropsych evaluation with Edelson & Associates today and I must say I was surprisingly impressed. The outside of their office is consistent with someone who appears concerned with not only their facade but with the comfort of their clientele as well as their immediate environment. No rubber or chemically treated mulch but pine needles instead. First impressions count as silly as that may sound. Adequate, convenient parking and location are a serious plus as well. The staff that greeted me was not only articulate and pleasant, they actually abided by HIPPA regulations and did not leave your personal information which you logged in with standing on their counter visible for any Tom, Dick or Harry that walked up during or after you did. This is much appreciated. Not many MD's offices can say the same, odd as that is. There were no advertisements for drugs or pharmaceuticals viewable and their pens did not carry the names of prescription drugs. There was no TV in the waiting room pounding and imploring you to buy even more drugs. That ranks them to the top of the list in my book. The staff there actually read through the information you provided them and bought any omissions to your attention (aside from the typical "guarantor" omission which none ever forgets or neglects). And they had pens in the office that did not skip. Interestingly enough no pens got stolen while I was there. Their forms are concise without redundant requests for the same information on different pages and all actually had enough space to write answers in. That is a rarity as bizarre as that may sound. Whomever set up this office put a great deal of thought into whatever signage was posted and it was done intelligently with compassion and empathy while still being clear as to what they needed in order to keep their facility functioning without chaos or misunderstandings yet still amazingly aesthetically pleasing without being gaudy or grotesque. The MD who interviewed me over the course of 4 hours was outstanding. He was not concerned with how his hair was combed, whether his clothing was impeccably tailored or pressed or whether his chair squeaked - he was there to get to the root of a problem that basically has taken away my will to live, and he did so with no pressure, no condescending statements, comments or innuendos and this MD was sharp - Sheldon Levinson, Ph.D, licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Levinson without a doubt crossed all his t's and dotted all his i's and watched and listened during every nanosecond of those entire four hours. There was not one solitary word of his that I misunderstood and I believe that worked both ways. He ensured we were both on the same page on every task before proceeding and watched to ensure I understood what was asked of me. If you have any type of issues or concerns whether it be cognitive, attention, developmental, educational, addiction or behavioral challenges this is precisely where you need to be. I have never been in a facility where I was helped to feel more comfortable, valued, and yes, believe it or not, important and welcome - and I would not hesitate to take either a child, parent, spouse, grandparent or friend here for evaluation, assessment, guidance and/or help. A+ across the board to these guys.
