The office is nice, new, and clean. Foss McKay is the best! I had seen three other therapists/psycholigists/counselors over the last decade, but when I started seeing Foss, things got so much better and I haven't gone anywhere else since. I'm so much better that I may not be visiting as much but I'll always know that my better quality of life is due to his help and will suggest him to anyone who actually wants to get better. Plus, he's a genuinely nice person...bonus.

Profoundly disappointing experience. My first appointment was cancelled because "LPC" Kali had a head ache. The receptionist was an extremely angry person who had no idea how to complete even very simple job duties. When she and the counselors spoke to one another about patients, the entire waiting room could hear, which is a HUGE HIPPA violation. PsychoPros should be ashamed of themselves for employing this person and being so casual about patient info. To this day months after my experience, the claims have STILL not been sent to insurance even though we are in network. Blue Cross and Blue Shield will be performing an audit soon. The counselor Kali was horrible. During our first appt, she snickered at me while I described my fears to her relating to my mental health and accused me of being dishonest about my commitment to getting better, even though I paid her full fee without insurance to see her for this first appointment (which directly goes against financial agreements they make you sign when you arrive). She told me after 15 minutes during our second appointment that because she dislikes how I struggle with certain issues, she wanted to dismiss me a patient. Kali is the reason why I don't trust mental health professionals. I truly believe that those who seek help at this facility will leave in worse shape than they came in.

We set up the appointment for an evaluation with details to provide information to a 3rd party. Confirmed with Psychpros what was needed and if their determination would suffice and assured it would be. The therapist was nice but the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Since the appointment i have called twice and left messages for a call back (receptionist again short with me and not helpful). It has been 5 weeks and still no call back or any information. I did receive their bill however! I will never go back to this place!

Drove 45 minutes to appointment. The receptionist told me I would not be seen due to them not having my work comp info, although work comp cm set up appointment. She proceeded to call cm for info. Cm called back and receptionist told cm that I was inappropriate and wished her good luck. Another patient was present and heard all this too. We left the office after telling her that we were able to hear everything she said. She stated she was just trying to help. How is violating HIPPA and telling cm good luck helping? Will not be returning to that office. People at kcmo office are much more professional and helpful.
