I had a very horrible experience when it came to billing at Primary Care Psychology Associates, even though I submitted a primary insurance and a secondary insurance, both thru bcbs ppo, for billing at the beginning of services. At the end of my childs testing, she was found to need no services. It wasn't until then, that I was informed that they didn't have a record of my secondary insurance. I resubmitted it. Upon speaking with Adam K in billing, I was asked to make a small down payment for $70 to cover the Co pay balance, and told that the remainder of the balance, that wasn't covered by the Primary insurance, would be sent to the Seconary insurance co, with whom I received confirmation that the remainder of the claim would be covered. The Primary Care Psychology associate Adam K, who handles billing, not only charged my card for the down payment, but took it upon himself to charge my card for another $200 in the next week which was completely unauthorized. I contacted him and he apologized profusely, stating he would reverse the charges immediately, and would call me back by the end of the day with the confirmation number of that reversal payment. That was 3 months ago. He has not only never called me back, but has refused to return my calls. I disputed this with my bank letting them know it was unauthorized. My bank stated that Mr Adam K told them it was, and my bank reversed my dispute. I spoke with a supervisor at my bank, who filed another claim on my bahalf after I explained the situation, and also had me to change my debit card so no further charges would ensue. I then spoke to another representative at bcbs who informed me that this secondary claim will be paid. Lastly, I spoke to an assistant at Primary care who stated they spoke with bcbs and the claim balance was submitted to the secondary insurance company via fax. However; Mr. Adam K, once again, billed my bank a 3rd time after that submission to the secondary insurance, and once again, my bank paid it. Canceling my initial debit card was to no avail. I'm yet again forced to do another dispute for a payment of $200 I never authorized and that had been approved by bcbs. I'm going to contact an attorney and definitely do not recommend going here ever... if you don't want your credit card charged without your authorization, regardless if you have insurance, or two that will Cover it!!!!
