While the initial conversations went well regarding scheduling and insurance, my two sessions with Polly did not go well. She was nice but she did not appear to be very professional and it was not a good connection for us. That’s okay, sometimes it take a few times before you find someone with whom you work well. However, paying my two bills was a nightmare and a major reason for the poor review score. I tried called the billing number listed on the invoice, but it was not in use. When I called the office, they gave me the same number. After I told the receptionist that it didn’t work, she sighed and told me to “just come in and pay us”. Needless to say, that didn’t make me feel very good. It was hard for me to get to the office before they closed, so paying over the phone was the best way to ensure the bill was paid. I received a bill for the second session and went through the same issues with the billing number being disconnected and a rude interaction with a receptionist, although I could not tell if she was the same woman as the first time. I called to cancel my third visit with Polly and to ask if any other therapists had openings for new patients. Unfortunately, the receptionist told me that I “probably shouldn’t waste the time if you didn’t like it with Polly.” So I went elsewhere.

After going through one not so good therapist, I am very happy with the care I am getting at ABC. My new therapist on the east side was WONDERFUL, but unfortunately had to move to the west office due to it being closer. I love my new therapist here out west. You can really tell that she loves her job, and loves helping people like me. Thanks!
