After the death of my wife I found myself alone with a 4 and 1/2 year old girl to raise. I was told about Doctor Paterno through a family member that maybe he could help me. I gave Doc , what I like to call him a chance. My wife passed March 2015 and by that summer i was talking to him every 2 weeks or so in hopes he can help me ,help my little girl get through the death of her Momma. I continue to work with Doc to this day as I write this review. He has without doubt helped me become a better father and has given me the tools I need to use when she cry's out in the middle of the night or when she, from the back seat , says she misses Momma. My little girl will now be going into 2nd grade a strong, loving little girl and that is because of the help Doctor Paterno.

I strongly advise potential patients and their families to consider taking your child to a different provider. Dr. Paterno's toxic and misinformed views on gender do not bode well for his ability to counsel young children. Instead of seeing him (someone with a PsyD degree from a non-selective, for-profit school), consider finding a therapist with a PhD or MD who was educated at a research university. While this is certainly no guarantee of competence, it at least shows that they have the intelligence, professionalism, and ability to get through a selective program with strong training. Dr. Paterno said womens voting rights should be taken away based on his tweet about the "300 million pound women March" and was then forced to resign from a school board. I question his abilities as a clinical psychologist.

Dr. Paterno has seen my family through very difficult circumstances. He is the most professional, in addition to being successful at good outcomes with a very difficult situations. I'm not certain what the other reviewer's, who have not even met Dr. Paterno are trying to say. They are completely incorrect in bashing him. I have nothing but great things to say about this group! They have been most helpful to my family from all angles! I have a mom suffering from Dimentia. Jessica Fox has helped me tremendously in understanding and helping me deal with the obstacles I'm up against with my moms decline. She has been most helpful for me to have an outsider to talk to without having a biased opinion. Dr. Paterno has played such a huge part in getting my children the accomadations they needed in school. I brought my children to get tested. He was at every meeting at the school with me! Dr. Paterno made sure that the accomadations were met and also had some recommendations of his own to help my children to succeed! I highly recommend this practice!

Compassionate and patient. The experience of diagnosing my son (then 5 years old) with HFA was an exhausting, heartbreaking journey but Dr. Paterno was a remarkable tour guide. Explaining his findings and how he went about conducting various tests in terms I could understand made me feel like I was fully present in the evaluation process. Many doctors previously used language that was foreign to me and acronyms leaving me confused and concerned, never with Dr. Paterno. He made us feel safe to share our concerns of my son's behavior without judgement and our own feelings after having received the diagnosis and realizing our new normal. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Paterno to any and all. I am a woman and I approve this message. Shame on all who criticize his work performance based on his personal, non-related opinions on social media.

HORRIBLE. I highly suggest to not come to this place. The psychologist I had spoken too was very unprofessional, VERY rude, and very disrespectful. The whole time I was trying to have a conversation with her, she was rolling her eyes, smirking at me, she's the whole reason why I changed my mind on being a psychologist myself. She was also basically calling me stupid in a way by saying how hard it is to get into the college that I want to get into and how "low" my gpa is and that it would be really tough for me to get in. The experience I had there was uncomfortable to the point where I got up in the middle of the session and left. If u have a psychologist here with brownish orangish curly hair and glasses, leave immediately !!!
