I highly recommend Dr. O'Koon. He is insightful, caring, dedicated and compassionate. I was particularly impressed with his ability to use the data from his evaluation to paint an very accurate picture of how my child's brain takes in and uses information. He was able to share with our family and our school team reviewing deficits and making recommendations as well as sharing strengths. Dr. O'Koon observed our child in his school setting and spent quality time with us and our son. His report was well written and provided valuable feedback on supports and services we needed.

We highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey O'Koon for an in-depth evaluation of your child, something that might be a little scary or even unpleasant. Our daughter enjoyed her evaluation immensely: she couldn't wait to go to Dr. O'Koon's office to do fun math. His analysis was very detailed and the recommendations were incredibly useful. He also helped in working with school officials and organizing a group of outside providers for our child. But what is most impressive to us is that after months of having his evaluation done he still responds to us with any follow-up questions and tries to help in any way he can. It warms our hearts that he truly cares about our daughter.

I highly recommend Dr. O'Koon. We have had multiple children evaluated by him. In each case, he has provided detailed reports and recommendations that have been instrumental in helping our family and our school ensure academic success. In addition to his insight, he is a very effective communicator. Dr. O'Koon has made himself available to participate in multiple school meetings to facilitate implementation of accommodations etc... He has also made excellent recommendations for providers of occupational therapy and other services that have been very effective.

I would highly recommend Dr. O'Koon for an evaluation. His office is easy to work with and our report was very detailed. Dr. O'Koon attended our sons school meeting and helped put a plan together for our son.

After reading mixed reviews on social media I decided to hire Jeff Okoon to evaluate my child bc they were willing to work with my insurance company. It was a huge mistake. At first I didn't realize how bad the evaluation was but I got suspicious when the report had another child's name in it! I showed it to a professor of neuropsychology (someone who teaches neuropsychologists how to test) and he pointed out many discrepancies and concerns about the interpretation. He told me that the report looked very "cookie-cutter". I showed the report to the school and they pointed out that they were doing everything Okoon recommended. It was a total waste of money. I let the school test my other child, they did half the number of tests but they were able to figure out my child. Then I found out that Okoon didn't even test my child, he had a student do it!

I recommend the O'Koon Psychology Group without reservation. I have had two other neuro-psych evaluations for my 11 year old daughter. Jeff O'Koon and his staff are the best of the best. His evaluation was the most comprehensive of anyone else's. But more importantly, he discovered many strengths to work off of as well as finding core issues in her speech and language to help further. In addition, his IQ, reading and math in-depth testing helped us with expectations for her now -- and for her future. The specific strengths they identified gave us a platform for future success. As far as the deficits, Dr. O'Koon was able to outline a VERY SPECIFIC, detailed, treatment plan for other providers as well as her school.
