I have been going here for over 15 years and love my Doctor. He's very caring and always calls me back between patients or sometimes in the later evening hours, but has always called me back when I needed to speak with him. I also had a wonderful therapist that I saw for many years who helped me through some very rough times in my life. She now only works part time and is working at a different office and 1 &1/2 away from me, but there are others I just have a hard time finding someone that I respected as much as my old therapist. I do agree the front has had some very nasty people working there, but lately they have all been nice. I understand the payment part to. My insurance I have now doesn't cover a penny of my sessions, but I can't see myself going to anyone else.I pay what I owe so I can go and wait between sessions until I can afford to pay the newest bill. Not cheap, but for me a must. I dread the day my doctor retires thinking of having to find a new one. He's a great person and cares very much about his patients and always asks about my family.

I love the doctor I see but the billing department is severely lacking. They do not return phone calls, emails, lie about it.. charge you $175 per visit for a "no show" when you are actually there. And then do nothing about it. The communication between office staff and other departments is pitiful. I've heard similar experiences from others too.

This place is a complete joke! Save your money and go to a real professional place. The doctors are good, but not the worth the stress you get from the front desk staff. They don't know how to schedule and put you down for the wrong times and expect a payment and won't show you a bill. I had a 5:30 appointment and was told my appointment was at 1:30 and was turned away. I have my appointment card that even says my appointment was at 5:30. So I wasted 4 hours of driving and a full tank of gas on this place.

Displeased overall. I liked the doctor I was seeing. She seemed to genuinely care. However, I have issues with their billing and office policies. When I first started going there, my insurance card stated I owed a co-pay. The office insisted I owed nothing and refused to take money from me. Came back a few times then was told that I owed a balance from my first visit and couldn't see the doctor until I paid it. It was only $20 but I was never told about it any of the times I was there nor did I receive a single bill in the mail from them. Very inefficient way of collecting money if you ask me. When I called two days ago stating I was experiencing severe panic attacks and needed to be seen that same day if possible, I was basically turned away. I was told that my doctor was not in so I'd have to wait until Monday (3 days later). I asked if I could see another doctor from the office. I was told no and that they don't allow "provider hopping." I have never heard that response from any doctor's office ever. That's literally one of the best reasons to pick an office with more than more doctor. If one is off or called away for an emergency the other doctor(s) in the office can pick up the slack. They did say they would send my doctor a message to call me. I never received a call. I'll be looking for a new doctor for sure.

I AGREE WITH THE STATEMENT FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW. ALSO, IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET IN TOUCH WITH A PERSON ON THE PHONE. I AM ALWAYS FORWARDED TO VOICEMAIL. IT ALSO TAKES SOMETIMES 1-2 DAYS TO GET A RETURN CALL. I HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED WITH THE WRONG DOCTORS A COUPLE TIMES. I LIVE FAR AWAY AND IT WAS FRUSTRATING TO BE TURNED AWAY AFTER DRIVING SO FAR. I ALSO COULD NOT SEE A DOCTOR UNTIL I PAID A $21.00 BILL.I AM ON SSDI AND I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY CHECK AND WAS BEHIND IN MY BILLS. I COULD NOT GET THE MEDICATION I NEEDED. "The doctors are good, but not the worth the stress you get from the front desk staff. They don't know how to schedule and put you down for the wrong times and expect a payment and won't show you a bill."

My family has been going to IPD in Morris for the last 10 years. Unlike previous posters, I have never had an appt scheduled for the wrong Dr. Only twice in all that time was my appointment recorded on a card at a time that was different from the time in their system. Like any Dr's office, the experience is impacted by the quality of the staff that works the front desk. I complained to my doctor about being treated poorly and received an apology. I feel that the employees that are there currently are respectful and considerate. The doctors and therapists are very helpful. We will continue to go there.

Due to them not filing insurance which I tried to resolve several times, I cannot make an appt. Very unprofessional practice.

If there was an option for 0 stars I'd give them that. When I called weeks ago to set up my appointment they had all my insurance information. Went in today at my scheduled time for them to tell me my insurance doesn't cover that specific provider I was seeing. They said they had called to try and reschedule with someone else (which I have no voicemails from them). Not to mention 4 days prior I got text messages and emails to confirm my appointment which I did. Will not be going back.
