BZA Behavioral Health has helped me tremendously. Both the clinical and support staff are super friendly and are always willing to help and answer any questions you might have. I have never had any issues with anything from billing/insurance to scheduling, face to face appointments, as well as the neuro-psych testing. I wanted to point out a few highlights in particular. I had neuro-psych testing done about a week ago. In the past, my insurance would cover only a small percentage or nothing at all. The insurance specialist in conjunction with my psychologist (Dr. Wood) were super helpful in the process of submitting the claim to insurance, keeping me posted as to the status of the claim, and finally confirming that my insurance was going to cover 100% of the neuro-psych testing. Because of my past experiences with testing, I wanted them to "double-check" that it would indeed be covered at 100%. They assured me that it would, and even gave me the codes that I could use to call into BCBS-IL myself to double check myself. In addition to being great at the front end of the process of neuro-psych testing, Dr. Wood and her post-doctoral fellow were very thorough in their testing, making sure to "cover all the bases" of possible diagnoses. In the end, it took only one week for a very thorough and professional report to be handed over to me. I have never had a report come back so quickly, or be written as thoroughly/professionally as BZA Behavioral Health and Dr. Wood provided for me. In addition, I see Dr. Wood on a weekly (sometimes twice monthly) basis. She is easy to talk to and provides excellent insights and suggestions. I can tell that she really cares about her clients and wants the best for them, myself included. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a mental health professional to look at BZA Behavioral for services, especially with Dr. Wood!
