REVIEWS OF Northwest Neurobehavioral Health IN Idaho

As I ready through the other reviews, I also had some minor frustrations with some of my phone-based experiences on the administrative side. HOWEVER- my experience with the clinical staff was so great that I can overlook the phone frustrations. Recent experience calling in has been different from a year and a half ago- so that is great. As for the clinicians- the staff was amazing at not only diagnosis our children- but actually helping us to UNDERSTAND them better. It is still an ebb and flow- but we felt more equipped to better to parent each of our children's uniqueness after our evaluation and follow-up. Getting a diagnosis is not sufficient- the explanation, and patience in answering all of our questions was paramount in our experience.

Helped me for the a while I was there.

Worthless! My son was having severe panic attacks and they basically waited 2 weeks to tell me they wouldn't have an opening for a month. In addition they never returned calls and really didn't seem to care much or have any sympathy. I had to constantly call to get updates.

Called to see if they were taking in new patients and they said they were 18 months out ...

My daughter has seen several different staff member at NNH over the last four years and has benefited greatly from her work with each one. In particular, Laura Curtis and Jami Pifer have been vital to my daughter's success in school as well as at home. Everyone I've come into contact with at NNH has been very professional and helpful. My family feels blessed to have found NNH!

Appointment was a half hour ago and were still in the waiting room. Either our appointment will be half as long or ill be late for my other appointments today. Either way their tardiness is unprofessional and an unfair imposition on their patients.

Brandy Borders

The doctors at this establishment are fine, even good, depending on who you are dealing with. On the other hand, the office staff is unacceptable. I CANNOT stand dealing with any of them. I feel that they are rude, curt, and NOT happy AT ALL to help. Further, 9 times out of 10, I get and answering machine when I call with a "I will return your call within 48 hours" message. 48 hours??? To make an appointment?? Unacceptable!! For these reasons, I am moving to a different practice. It's too bad, because these poor doctors have worked so hard for their certifications only to have their patients scared away by the office staff before they even get a chance to see them.

After some initial bumps, we have had nothing but positive experiences with NNH. How they resolved the initial issues was wonderful as well. Great counselors and staff!

I do not like this place one of secretary blonde hair was a snob. They refused to test for one of diagnosis that i requested. way to long of a waiting list one of the dr kick her coffee table and my son was under it hiding and it hit him in the head and she try to denied it. They did not diagnose him properly. They made me feel like i was dumb and didnt believe me when i told them how my child acts.

We had an excellent experience with Melinda getting a neuropsych eval done for a child. She is an amazing doctor! She was a huge support to me as a parent, and a wealth of knowledge! However, we have another child who is in desperate need of a diagnosis...it's a very critical situation. Sadly, that does not matter. The wait list is over a year out...our child does not have that amount of time. The staff I spoke with was extremely rude and cold.

Northwest Neurobehavioral Health is an amazing premiere diagnostic and treatment center for all ages. A good reason to come here it’s because they offer Neuropsychological services, psychological services, counseling services, autism diagnostics, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and medication management. Is there another place that offers all these kind of services in one facility? Mmmm Yah, didn’t think so he he :D Call today and start your path towards a happy and healthier life.

Horrible staff and people, they really need to learn how to run a business. They do not inform the patients of any changes they make. They never answer the phone, and the medical assistant is unhelpful. They are rude AND ACT LIKE IT IS AN INCONVENIENCE TO TALK TO YOU, except one of the front desk ladies and the one provider I met who was an older women. Seriously run the other way, so many more qualified mental health clinics. Not to mention the prices are ridiculous. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I have been thankful for the kind, understanding staff that has watched out for my sons best interest with a caring, thurough, and professional attitudes.

We have always had great experiences with the team we work with at NNH. Dr. Pifer, Hall, Warren-Sutton, to name a few. We have been coming for 8 years now-before it was NNH. I know with more children seeking diagnosis, that there is always going to be a waiting list at places that are highly recommended. That should not be a reason to give a bad review, in my opinion. We had a six month waiting list to get my daughter tested when she was 4 and we waited and did what we needed to. We were finally given answers to help us better understand our daughter and her needs. This has helped tremendously in my daughter's development. This is like a second family to us.

These guys are great. My son loved Suzy he doesn’t like many people so thank you. He also said the guy who visited him was ok so you guys are doing something right. I appreciate you oh and the girls who met with me this morning thank you for being understanding with me I don’t always break down.

Awesome clinicians! Very helpful in determining my son's diagnosis and did so efficiently. We had some billing struggles a bit (we got bills for 2 years, after the fact/visit, and each time were assured it was sorted)-- this ended up being due to a change in their billing staff. NNA and the billing staff were always kind, reasonable, and easy to work with.
