I would defintely recommend coming here!! The staff is very helpful and professional. The front desk staff is welcoming when you come in and they always have a smile on their face. And the PA I saw really took the time to listen to me and made me feel heard. I've never been to a doctors office that made me feel as comfortable as I feel here!

Very unprofessional organization which changes appointments last minute with only a phone call and no follow up email. (When cell phones die due to children leaving them out in the rain). The assistant doc pays very little attention to the needs of my 3 very emotionally challenged children only cares enough for medicating them and not helping with overall mental health. We desperately need to find better mental health services for my family.

The psychiatrist in the office are amazing. However the front staff and one who handles taking information neglect the charts, I have to call every month to advise them we have transferred to a different pharmacy, they still sent it to the wrong one and I have to travel to 2 different places for each prescription, it is really getting old since one is out of my way. I wish they would get it together or we will be finding a new place after the next appointment..

We love Dr. A! His staff is exceptionally helpful and he himself takes a lot of time with my son at every visit. He talks to him like he is a person, and not over him like he is not even in the room. He is patient and kind, and also upbeat and humorous. Yes, he sometimes takes calls, but they are always quick and professional. Working at the hospital of course things will come up that he needs to address. I would recommend him to anyone who wants some true understanding and help for their child.

OKAY SO. I left this place a really bad review a while ago but since then I have changed my mind 5/5 stars. You will NOT find more caring professionals anywhere else. Trust me I tried. I was upset by their new messaging system but if you leave a message with your number they call you back within the hour and handle all your business. They're great. I plan on staying with this practice a while. Mark and Bethany are SAINTS!

I had to update my original posting because this office is truly the best. All the Doctors are Awesome!!! $1300+ URINE SAMPLE!!!!! They would never return my phone calls. They have no answering service on the weekend. The doctor played with his phone and took phone calls in his native language all throughout every session. I was given a drug test which I was told to sign stating that it was my urine. I did so and have now received a bill for over $1340.00 for a urine sample. On the form it just says custom profile. It was four pages worth of tests. I would highly recommend you stay as far away from this office as you can.

I have taken my gson here for the past few months. We have never even seen the doctor, only his assistant. She diagnosed my gson with HFA & ADHD without ever doing an evaluation. Told her I do not want him on ADHD medication. She told me she prescribed him something to help with his moodiness. Come to find out, it was for ADHD. It made him much worse; very volatile, angry, and destructive. Then switched him to the medication for his mood; which hasn't worked, and she just keeps increasing the dosage (that has horrible side effects the higher it goes).

Know your exact co-pay if you go. Their business office will not return overages. I am owed a significant refund according to the EOB and I keep getting excuse after excuse and delayed for almost a year and intentionally making it very difficult. Very poor business practices; beginning to think this is their way of doing business. I would not recommend this practice.

I love everyone at Young minds Psychiatry. They work really well together as a team to make sure that patients needs are met. I was very blessed to have found this office upon moving to Georgia. Jessica, whom works at the front desk does an amazing job of going above and beyond meeting patients expectations and makes the check in/check out process a very smooth and easy process. I have been seeing Mark Blocker at Young Minds now for almost a year and he has completely changed my life. He was able to take me from a very dark place and get me on the right track. I am so very happy with Dr. Alkhatib and his team. I have literally been all over the south for the past 12 years including the Emory CAMP program attempting to assist my son and find the best care for him. The successful treatment of adolescent mental illness demands a competent, insightful psychiatrist who is both knowledgeable and responsive-My son and I, as his primary caregiver, found this at Young Minds Psychiatry from day one. Just walking into this office you can feel the difference. Very caring staff-no judgement and lots of reassurance with support and as I wrote-responsiveness to the issues we encounter on this path. I highly recommend this doctor and this practice.

Mark Blocker is my psychiatrist and he is REALLY nice and helpful. He listened to me but also didn't push anything on me that I felt nervous about or didn't want. He has always been willing to work with me and move at my pace for medication. 10/10 would recommend
