This place is literally my home away from home!! The people are extraordinary, encouraging but most of all loving! You can feel the care floating around the halls and hear it in the voices of every single person you come in contact with! All I can say, for sure, I now have the hope I was desperately seeking out and all I did was walk through the front door!!

Ronald Reddish

I couldn't imagine doing all this without their support!!

This treatment facility really personifies the fact that cancer is a profitable business and that numbers are the only thing that matter. Today my mother was denied care due to the fact that they only work with patients who's cancer has a higher success rate of survival or remission. Now it all makes sense when they advertise their high success rate. They pick and choose the patients or cases they want to work with. From the moment she was diagnosed she knew she wasn't going to survive this but she did want the best care in order to possibly extend the little time she has just a little further. But no, she wasn't worth their time! My mother's cancer is a very rare type called Signet ring cell carcinoma. What makes her case even more rare is the fact that they can't even locate her cancer. Two colonoscopies, a PET scan, and 1 endoscopy later they still can't find where her point of origin was. She is considered a study case but no one cares to learn about it. They don't make money studying people with rare cancers or coming up with cures. They make their money off the cancer business. Apparently that's what matters. Shameful and disgusting!

My mother receives treatment here for lung cancer. Many of the staff go out of the way to speak to you and encourage you. It's a full service private hospital. If you have cancer and you have insurance, this is where I'd start my journey. I am a patient with CCTA in Goodyear (Phoenix) AZ... same level of kindness and care. What is so refreshing for me is their ongoing effort to maintain the schedule they set for you.

Olympia Rogers

I dont even know where to start!! When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2017, I went to my local cancer treatment center. They did the usual but it was nothing special. When I lost my job & insurance in Dec. 2017, their attitude changed and I was told, "no insurance, no treatment". Well, thanks a lot!! I went online looking for assistance and came across CTCA. I started a chat and told them what was going on, he asked permission to call me, which I said yes. Next thing I know, I have an appointment at the Atlanta center and I haven't looked back!! The day I got there, my new oncologist already had ALL of my test results from my local drs, tissue samples from my biopsy & mastectomy and then ran his own tests & had his plan in place for me. The staff is AWESOME. Even the housekeeping staff greets you and are there for you. Just can't say enough good things about this place. I won't go anywhere else, if, God forbid, my cancer comes back.

Herbert A. Guinup

My wife is a patient of Dr. John Geisler at CTCA, Newnan GA. Each trip we make from Tampa to here is a warm, friendly and caring visit. The whole process is on point and professional..... Dr. Geisler, has given my wife hope and time when Moffitt Cancer Center after two years treatment said go home and prepare for end of life.. They had reached the end of this treatment... Thanks to the internet and my wife's determination to fight, CTCA,, my wife has lived two years strong... Thank you CTCA and Dr.John Geisler Herb and Denise Guinup

Nyte Prowler

Very good, friendly center, more like a resort than a treatment facility. Everyone here, patients included are great!

Jim Crump

This is the most amazing treatment center. They don't treat cancer here - they treat the whole person here. I can't imagine having gone ANYWHERE else!

Tina Griffeth

Saves lives!

My Wife of 18 years has Stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer. She has been treated at CTCA for the past 15 months. Slowly we have realized the Marketing 'scheme' they propagate is only that, FAKE, BS!!! The Doctors don't know what the other is doing. Even worse than a regular Hospital chain would be. Care for yourself or your family by NOT going to CTCA. IT IS JUST BUSINESS TO THEM SADLY, not actually saving lives.

David Bennett

I live in Virginia, and came to CTCA after being treated by a local oncologist for about 6 months. My oncologist and I just did not "click". I want to maintain as much normalcy in my life as possible, to include continuing to work, but he was of the opinion that I needed to go on disability as soon as possible. I came to CTCA Atlanta for a 2nd opinion on this and was so impressed with the facility, the staff, and especially Dr. Taha that I started treatment with them that day. I am receiving the same chemotherapy drugs I would have at home in Virginia, but Dr Taha was confident, and so far is correct in his belief that I can continue to work a full 40 hour week. I cannot say enough good things about CTCA.

Shabby

Scam artists ready to selly mother vitamins for $1200 then mistreated her lung cancer, and get this, she could not even swallow the vitamins due to the radiation. Bunch of conartists, we are giving the Grammy's to the wrong people folks, these doctors are the best actors. They don't care about you, and until you realize it they will continue to mislead is and bankrupt you. Don't do chemo, don't do it! Cancer is not a disease it is a business You filled my mothers head with "Curing" Sclc and she spent the last 10 months of her life on a couch, suffering. This place is a scam, if you have a lung cancer dx do yourself a favor and do nothing Enjoy you life and go with dignity. Cancer treatment center of America is a SCAM

Francine Thompson

My experience with CTCA Southeaster Regional Medical Center is the absolute BEST! My daughter has been with this center since February 2016 and she is under great care. Dr. Rich's team is amazing. Dr. Thompson is amazing and Dr Krebs is a gift from GOD in the healing of our daughter.

Relona Gee01

My experience has been AMAZING!! MyTeam not only takes care of the illness I have but more importantly takes care of me! #JohnGeisler #AllTheStaffRocks #KickinCancersButt

Antoinette Harris

I Work There.... It's a Great Place to get Treatment!!!...

David Hampson

Tried to call to setup an appointment for my mom. First they said they weren't accepting stomach cancer patients, then when I said it wasn't stomach cancer, they said they weren't accepting liver cancer patients. Then they tried to make it an outpatient issue which didn't make sense. For some reason this person just didn't want us as a patient! Maybe because we are in Georgia? Not sure why they wouldn't even give her a chance! Heartless....

Eric Geraci

It is worth the effort to contact this group. Newnan GA is where I have been, its great!!

Kim Martin

This is not a place to take your loved one to. I took my mother here to get the best treatment for her cancer and she actually got worst. My mother gotten so sick that there was nothing else they could do. My mother was slowly passing away before my eyes and this center was so busy trying to get her to leave the facility. They diagnosed her cancer late because they thought she just had a virus or bug instead of finding out the real reason why she was sick. By the time they found out the real cause of her sickness it was too late. The doctors are rude and have to be watched. I use to just pop up to see if my mother was ok instead of calling. And all the times I popped up the nurses wasn’t given my mother medication on time and didn’t care if she was alright. The biggest mistake that I ever made was taken my mother to this facility. I regret this decision everyday. I truly feel like if I haven’t taken my mother here she would still be alive. Please listen, if you want your loved one to beat cancer stay away from the cancer treatment center of American in Newman GA.

Anita Williams

The service is always thorough and friendly... They mean business about our health!

Tyme 4 Me

They take wonderful care of my stepfather

Darnell McGavock Sr.

A great facility for anyone needing cancer treatment. I am not being paid by anyone to say this. If you are feeling the care you or a loved one is getting for cancer at another hospital is not very good. You should give CTC a try. They have experts, who each only work with specific types of cancer. So the care given to someone, is by a specialist, who only works with the specific type of cancer on a daily basis. This ensures the care is from a very knowledgeable doctor. Not someone learning as they go. The facility is a vast hospital. With centers inside for all the needed steps in treatment. From MRI and other imagining testing and the doctors. Along with an Urgent Care unit, if someone is severely ill during their visit. The staff offer treatment with great care.

Linda Parry

Found the experts here. Never looked back.

Jennifer Jeter

The doctors, nurses and staff are awesome!

Michael Johnson

Everyone that works there are so nice. They make you feel very comfortable with what you are going through.

Clint Apperson

My Mother is a patient in Newan and has been for a week. Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma and it has metastasized. In the 3 days we spent in this hospital, they have done more in those 3 days than what her Cancer Treatment Center in Ohio could do in 3 months. The staff is AMAZING. We know her cancer is serious and know the chances arent necessarily in her favor but we have HOPE that they can at least make her comfortable and maybe give her a better quality of life. Her cancer center in Ohio pretty much gave up on her but shes not done fighting! Thank you CTCA for everything done so far! I also want to shout out an employee - a Janitor, Miss Etha. This lady goes out of her way to speak to anyone who will be spoken to. Offers warm blankets, something to drink, helps patients get settled in their wheel chairs (like helping them get their foot on the foot rests). She is a ray of sunshine and me and my Mother just ADORE her!!! The world needs more people like this lady. She has a motherly vibe about her and she is just sweet as sugar!!!

Stacy Nicholson

The environment is so wonderful, energetic and soothing on your journey

Jane Lu

The staffs are fantastic. The hospital is very clean and sanitized. Nurses are great. Dr. Scott Shelfo is the best!

Chris Sims

This is the absolute best treatment for cancer in the state. We have experienced the best care for our loved ones mind body and spirit.

durango4u .

My wife has treated for the last year and a half at CTCA. Wonderful care and wonderful people along with the best treatment you could ever find. If you are in need of treatment for cancer this is the place to be.

Tim Barrett

Don't believe all of the sunshine from their ads. I called them today to talk about getting a family member in for a 2nd opinion. Within 3 questions they asked what kind of insurance my family member had. I told them they had Medicare and BCBS as a supplement. They said that they were not accepting anymore medicare patients. I offered to pay them out of pocket for a 2nd opinion and they said NO. Since they accept limited medicare patients that cannot accept a full payment from a family member for services. They do not care about the elderly they are for profit and accept only certain patients that will not impact their reported statistics they report in their heart warming ads.

Sandra Mcgregor

The service is outstanding.

Kondra Williams

Best people in the world. Caring, kind and the only place to go for the best cancer care.

Chloe Smith

Sad just sad! We live in Newnan and hoped to go to Newnan CTCA but they are not accepting any new patients for what is going on with my family member...Wow very disappointed!

Dorothy Kent

For my husband to have been accepted to CTCA is nothing short of answer to prayers. Never have we been treated with so much kindness, concern, and friendliness at any Medical Center. The doctors, staff, services far exceed anything we could have imagine. When we first walked through the doors there was a presence of peace, and tranquility.. We felt as though we were checking into a resort, nor a medical treatment center. We thank God for you, and your staff !! We are Blessed !

Tom Kappel

Rosalyn Caltrider

They have been truly wonderful with my Mom as she has undergone treatment the last 6 months. They provide her not only with medical care, but with emotional support on all levels. It will be sad for her when she finishes her treatment because she has come to see them as her family and will miss seeing them!

Barry Talley

They are totally the best.

Leslie Mullins

The place for treatment!

faith omoregbe

I thank God for leading me to this place. The staffs are wonderful, the services and care are awesome, including the food. I was able to pray with others and as I was praying, I was receiving my healing. The Lord is using everyone there.

Stacey Denson

Always the best service here. All of the staff are so warm and friendly.

Tony French

Great place with awesome staff

Erica Brown

As a former patient who was dropped by Dr. Hansra and Dr. McKnight because of a difference in opinion about my treatments, I find that the advertised "patient centered" care is laughable. Both of these professionals acted as unprofessional as a doctor can. Dr. Hansra neglected to do a breast exam on me for several months, which led to me having undetected skin mets. Also, Dr. McKnight refused to continue my care based on me asking questions about treatment options via email. I went to CTCA because of the advance and comprehensive care and for a period of time that expectation was met. However, the moment I became an advocate for my care and wellness I was shown the door and to add insult to injury was denied treatment as well.

George Honeycutt

This place and staff saved my life. The entire staff put your health issues first and foremost. Thanks CTCA Newnan!!!

If I have to have cancer, this is where I want to treat it! Everyone is friendly and positive, even other patients and the sweet lady who cleans the bathrooms. Cancer treatment center of america Atlanta, is the ideal environment to assist with overcoming cancer. I have nothing but great things to say about the caring, talented and loving team of Ctca. They do it right here and allow the patient EVERY opportunity to survive, and thrive and be an active part of their healing...and for that I am truly grateful. From the housekeeping members to the culinary staff to the nurses to the Surgeons...every one I spoke with and interacted with made me feel good and important. Do what you can to get into a ctca...it will bless your life. GOD BLESS YOU ♡

Samantha Brazie

Our community is very fortunate to have a group of people such as this, and the top notch facility that it is in our back yard. Can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and care received here.

Caleb Ashby

We traveled from Idaho to visit this facility on the recommendation from a close friend. Our local doctors discouraged and outright objected to us investigating any CTCA hospital because they are not considered a “research facility” by their standards. When we initially visited the center for consultation we explored their processes and treatment plans with a healthy degree of skepticism. After three days of analysis we felt this center was the right choice for us. CTCA employees are considered “stakeholders” in the organization and everyone we met reflected this level of commitment. People love working here. We visited and investigated multiple hospitals including the top cancer treatment research facilities before we decided on CTCA. I would encourage you to do the same if possible. There is something extremely special and unique about this place you have to experience to understand.

kymbrownsugarbrooks .

The best place on earth God lives here!! !!

Jeramy Bowie

Really Awesome, great staff, incredible facilities and of course...amazing people dealing with hard situations, but always positive!

Tracy Snow

I'm so glad we decided to use CTCA. It's like a 5 star resort compared to 2 or 3 star. Everyone is so nice, helpful and respective.

Best place to be!

James jeter

Always the best treatment available!

Missy Dobbs

They are so good to my husband. Christian Based, and we love his doctors.

Hot Keys

Doesn't care to let patients now when they are going out of network, and doesn't care enough to work with the patient (even long term ones), financially in these circumstances. You know how much this treatment costs, why make it harder for people who are already going through so much?

Harold Chavous

Amazing staff and unbelieveable access to lodging, transpo and resturant on site. Food, treatment, staff, cleanliness, etc. is beyond the best of the best! Glad to have them!

michael dagley

My wife is caring for her mother here, and LOVES this place. I don't know what the hype is, but she LOVES that her mother is being treated here!

Jan Heidelmeier

Three years ago, my husband was diagnosed with stage IV Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney cancer). We knew that we absolutely did not want to get his care in Knoxville, so a friend recommended Cancer Treatment Centers of America, (CTCA). We've been going the Atlanta cenyer for 3 years now & frankly if you were to see my husband, you would hardly know that he is sick! CTCA is a different kind of cancer fighting facility... It's NOT just about chemo... CTCA has Naturpathic Doctors who help you combat side effects with supplements that most other oncologists don't realize (or care) exist! He has a nutritionist, a pain team and chiropractic & acupuncturist, as well! It's a holistic approach. My husband's side effects have been managed and for the most part are at the moment, non-existent! My husband's oncologist, Dr. Patricia Rich always comes with a big hug for both of us & speaks WITH us as if we were her family MEMBERS. She works with our primary care physician here in Knoxville for routine tests and localized care. All of my husbands different departments share a common database so there is no second guessing about his treatment plan. CTCA even reimburses us for mileage & we only pay $50/night for nice hotel rooms w/ free breakfast, which CTCA books for you. If you're flying in, they pick you up from the airport (see the limo pic) and take you right to your hotel! CTCA has their own transportation team, so they pick you up from your hotel when you have appointments. The cafeteria is good & reasonably priced. Everything is made from scratch! EVERYONE is warm & friendly and facility is beautiful. For those who don't have anyone to travel with them & they're feeling kinda rough, they even have hotel rooms attached to the hospital! It's like they've thought of everything!

Vanessa Terry

I just absolutely love this place,it was wonderful during my brother stay and I'm planning on bringing my husband

Connie Davis

Was a big help to my daughter

Deborah Ballard-Pence

Wonderful Doctor, takes her time, all interactions with staff here has been nothing short of AWESOME !! Husband being treated like a human being here !! Even the fact that this was our third opinion, and it was discovered that the first two were WRONG, and I asked "How could these previous doctors have dared to treat him, when they hadn't diagnosed him properly?", the Doctor looked at me, and simply said "Spilt milk, We go on from here." Loving this place !!!!!!! Dr. Bonta continues to provide compassion and encouragement to us, for my husband to keep on improving his life, he has been cancer free since January 2016!!!!

Donna Edwards

I began treatment in January 2017 for Breast Cancer. The staff at CTCA Ga is the best I have ever dealt with. Dr. Johnson, my surgeon and Dr. McKnight, my oncologist and their nurses and staff went well above any expectations I could possibly have had. Everyone from scheduling to transportation to the cafeteria staff was very caring, kind and considerate toward me. I HIGHLY recommend this facility for all your needs.

Arthur Black

Everyone is genuinely interested in getting you healthy

Deborah McKay

My first visit was full of hope and answers finally. And when I returned back home to think things through and call to transfer my care...weeks went by with no return calls. Then the bills for thousands of dollars started coming in. 13 phone calls later only 1 person called me back and it was from financial services, Asking me for money. Not one return call to schedule my appts. Not one for my treatment that was greatly needed. It was all about the money. I was warned this was a scam and now I believe it. What a poor way to treat someone who put all their trust in you...with stage 4 Cancer...to not even have the decency to return a call.

Steve Bracy

Couldn't think of a better place to get treatment, from the first phone call to the facility, the doctors, their staff, the treatment, cafeteria workers, the front desk people and the shuttle drivers even the other patients at the facility and anyone else I have forgotten at ctca Atlanta....... best group of people I know, the care, the respect and the love given by all. My family and I appreciate everything you all have done and continue to do!!!!!! Love you ctca and thanks for all you do!!!!!

George Shaw

All I know about this place is they would not take my Aunt who has liver and stomach cancer and she has insurance..... So I would love to know why they would not take her, but after reading all the reviews I'm thankful they didn't, because she is still here with us. Thank you, LORD! Even though we are from a small town she is getting the help she has to have, and she's blessing our lives everyday she is here with us!!!! We Love you, Aunt ... These big companies will have to answer one day, for the way they treated people. Each and every one of them, will answer on judgment day... But I'm so thankful for the ones that had great experiences with the big corporation; we really are. I don't see how they pick certain people.... But, for them I'm grateful! And for my Aunt she has good Doctors, from our small town we just wanted a second opinion and some help, but we did not get it. SO SAD!!!!!

Carolyn Taylor

Do not take your family to this place. My husband started going to this place in August 2018 he passed away within 8 months. This place is so fake.

Jennifer Hill

I cannot explain what this place has meant to me and my family. I just can't. If you or someone you love has cancer, PLEASE come here. Myself and many others were initially given horrible prognosis, came here, and were given hope. Hope means everything when you have the C word. This place nourishes hope and your mind body and spirit. I don't think I would have made it without this place and the amazing souls who labor here. From the kitchen cooks to the head of radiation, they all care and it shows.

I am giving one star because you have to hit at least one to leave a review, otherwise it would have been ZERO. I went into this beautiful facility in November 2017. I thought the staff was great. I loved the fact that the hotels and hospital hotel rooms were nice and they paid us for mileage and hotels were super inexpensive. During my 4th visit Dr. McKnight told me that I needed 16 more rounds of chemotherapy. Now when I first started he told me that I needed 4 then I could have my lumpectomy, then radiation. How do you go from 4 to 16?! I opted to proceed with surgery and he sent me to Dr. Anita Johnson(in house). It was obvious that she and McKnight had spoken. Dr. Johnson came in and pulled up my ultrasound and "enlarged" my tumor to frighten me into going back to chemo. I told her that I would like to go on to surgery. She then exhaled and said to me and my husband "You need to do the chemo first because I SEE BLACK WOMEN "DYING" EVERYDAY FROM THIS YOU JUST NEED TO DO THE RECOMMENDED CHEMO FROM DR. MCKNIGHT." It sent my husband into a panic because he lost a family member to this disease many years ago. He just wanted to do what she said. I asked her to leave the room so that I could speak with my husband alone. I did tell her that her approach did not scare me. I got dressed and we walked out right by her and she was silent. I got back to my hometown and went to a facility where I live. CTCA would not send my records. I had to request them many times before they sent them . They placed my port for tx. When it was time for my port to be removed my surgeon in my hometown had complications because CTCA placed it and had it non dissolving thread wrapped around it so it was somewhat embedded. I looked at my EOB's and they were billing like $33,000 per visit for me. The pictures, commercials and facility looks wonderful but some of the staff members are devils!!! Dr. McKnight and Dr. Anita Johnson are the biggest devils that I encountered there. This is just my opinion from my experience. I hate seeing those commercials. When I was doing tx there I told Dr. McKnight that we saw him on one of the commercials. He told us that he wasn't going to do it because they wanted to choose the patient that they wanted for the commercial but he wanted to pick one of his African American patients (which was a member of Congress or some political position). He said he wanted to see more of his people in those commercials. Everytime I see those commercials I get a sick feeling. I feel like those people were just about MONEY!!! I had great insurance so they were doing so many things to "help" me by giving me an extra day to stay after tx to "make sure that I am good". I got tx from some place other than CTCA!!! I am better and I recommend that you and anyone that you know STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE... YOU WANT TO LIVE A HEALTHY PROSPEROUS LIFE!! TREAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU WANT TO BE TREATED AND TREAT EVERYONE LIKE LOVING FAMILY!!! ♡LIVE LAUGH LOVE♡

Elizabeth Talbert

This place is wonderful. Happy and friendly staff (even the janitors smile at you) and everyone is there to make patients feel as comfortable as possible.

Toyia Thomas

Beautiful Place!!!! It radiates hope!!! Everybody is just soo pleasant and nice. It truly is a different experience!!!! If you can get here.....Do!!!

Tracy Nash

Haven't been there yet, but the few phone calls I have had with a Mr. Brian Roberts has been amazing. He was kind, courteous, and helped me know what to do next. If I do end up going to CTCA I have no doubt it will be a great experience.

Henrietta Hughes

Yes I wrote 4 years ago that CTCA were the best in treatment for Cancer and that is true for the location in Oklahoma..NOT Atlanta's location!!! That location is politically motivated and let patients die as they did my daughter. She was doing so well even tho she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in 2011. She was getting treatment here in DeKalb medical and it was one delay after the other each time she went for an appointment. They were more concerned about how they were going to get paid than treating the cancer which was growing constantly giving us the runaround about getting Medicade it was a total disaster. I could see them butchering her and she would have died long time ago. But because I researched and contacted CTCA and was referred to the closest location which was Oklahoma and those folks worked a miracle treating her and Iam so grateful for Dr Frame and all of the medical staff that was there during those 5 years she was treated there. Atlanta location need to close down because they are just like traditional medical facilities like Northside, Emory and DeKalb Medical...The srong chemo and radiation kills the patient because its too strong and not given based on each individual person's case and their body and let's not forget the bureaucracy of waiting for and appointment while your cancer is growing inside your body while the medical staff is sending you in different directions to see this doctor and that supposedly specialist...you are slowly dying...just as Shamekia did and Iam angry beyond belief!!!! CTCA in Newnan Oncologies Mary Ninan and Haritha Pabbathi and Lung doctor were never on the same page when she went to her appointment...they were in disagreement of whether they saw cancer or not one said yes the other said no..This is why she ended up leaving there going to Northside where Dr. Nancy Wiggers who were supposed to be the best but her ghetto staff canceled her appointment because she was late getting there and the Dr refused to see her even after I called to try to straighten the mess out...Do not go there, Emory Dekalb Medical or CTCA in Georgia because they are more concerned about getting paid rather than your health. Take this posting seriously folks I know what Iam talking about because I fought the battle with my daughter trying to get her good health care to treat her cancer and they always gave us the run around. She had great insurance too but that didn't matter.. We didn't have money up front a lot of times and they didn't wanna treat her unless we could fork up cash....By the time she found a Doctor out in Lawrencevill, Dr. Pravee Sivakmaran Oncology and Garimella a Lung Doctor, her cancer had spreaded too far...These two Doctors were amazing and their staff and at Lawrenceville Medical in Duluth and Lawrencevill were truly professionals that were concerned about her as their patient....They tried everything to save her...So of you are ever diagnosed with Cancer see them or go to one of the other locations of CTCA anywhere except GEORGIA....THEY WILL HELP YOU DIE!!!! If we had been able to stay with the Oklahoma CTCA I believe she would still be alive...Yours truly...Angry as Hell Mother at Georgia's Health Care System!!! I feel this is the best place to be for cancer treatment

Shelby Defrenn

Im Shelby DeFrenn and I had non smokers lung cancer. I went to Atlanta for a 2nd opinion. Confirmed. I decided a wanted a cancer Dr to do my surgery. My Dr was Dr Dan Miller. He was an awesome caring Dr. I’m so glad he did my surgery, even though he had to take out lower bottom if my left lobe and lymph nodes I’m cancer free with NO treatments I wouldn’t hesitate sending anyone here. I just don’t understand why some gave this a 1 star. This place doesn’t cause cancer to spread they try and help it from spreading, they are not miracle workers just Drs who care and want to give them their best shot at life. I lost my sister in law that went there but it wasn’t their fault it was just her time.

Nicole Washington-Fears

The Center has living angels working at the facility. So happy I choose the facility for my ovarian cancer treatment.

howard jackson

I brought my sister to Cancer Treatment of America in Atlanta and I feel it was the best decision she ever made since being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. When we felt she wasn't receiving adequate care at home in Middle Tennessee our only choose was CTCA. The care is wonderful and the staff are the most gracious and friendly I have worked with. All staff seem to really care about the patients well being and care. The patients walk around with a'smile and hope on their faces. Thank you Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Atlanta. I thank God for the entire experience of CTCA. When given a poor prognosis, you have two choices either to give up or fight like hell. There's no way to know how it will end but I'm completely grateful for a team who were ready to fight with us from day one and still do after a year's treatment. CTCA will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dr Flora Williams Anders

The Most knowledgeable and compassionate medical professionals I have encountered. My family member was under constant surveillance and whenever there was a change in her vitals' readings it was addressed and remedied immediately. I thank God she was able to be admitted into the CTCA in Atlanta.

Al Watter

Great staff and they always meet you with a smile.

I had an opportunity to visit this center during the holiday season 2015, I helped to make Christmas wreaths with patients. The staff was just absolutely adorable and caring. The facility was very neat, clean and colorful. It was an awesome experience. Thanks to all who made this an enjoyable memory! Friends of Ms. Yolanda Pelzer Lansing, Michigan

Tried to schedule an appointment just to get a second opinion or another option for a treatment plan for stage 4 prostate cancer for my husband and was told 48 hours later that this Atlanta location wasn't taking any new patients from GA. Only new patients had to be from out of state. So I'm going to assume only people with endless pockets can be seen at this facility. To go to the recommended facilities out of state would cost more money on top of trying to pay for a place to live during treatments. Sad just sad. Stop advertising in Ga if you can see any of its residents.

I was diagnosed with stage IV Cancer in Fall 2015. I know if I hadn't went there, I'd be dead. The commercials show you how they really treat you. Class act all the way.

Janice Shreve

Wish I could write a review! I called and the conversation went like this: patients name,,,age,,,where is the cancer...kind of insurance....we can't help you. Really? You would think that when you are calling for a loved one that they would talk to you with some empathy. You would think if they couldn't help you that they would at least try to guide you in the right direction. Guess I just expect to much out of people.

Best Cancer treatment place ever. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, we called CTCA and they flew us in, within no time my mom was in treatments and 6 months she got cancer free. The staffs are so friendly and caring. They go out of the way and answer all your questions and give you best answer and helps anyway possible to make your each visit pleasant as possible. From shuttle drivers, janitors, receptionist, nurses, technicians and doctors we've got the feelings likes its a home away from home. All of them greet us with smile and hugs on each visit and give you updates. On scheduler, they arre so great, they put together the schesule based on your need. We fly in from Miami in the morning and by evening we will have many tests, chemo and any other treatments and done and by evening they drop us at the airport and back to home. Thank you CTCA for your great service and helping us.

First experience with CTCA was when my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 non-hodgkins lymphoma. Our experience was very good. His doctor was the chief oncologist at the time and the doctors team was wonderful. My husband's treatments consisted of 6 rounds of chemo and each lasted 5 days/24 hours a day. He was inpatient and I was allowed to stay in his room. His nurses were wonderful and we felt like he had gotten the best care he could have possibly received. He went into remission and has been on a maintenance therapy for almost 2 years now with no return of the cancer. Last year I was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung cancer so I opted to come to CTCA. Much had changed. I didn't receive the best treatment I could have received. I went through all the conventional chemo treatments and my doctor wanted me to stay on one chemo drug as a maintenance therapy indefinitely. I kept asking if I had any other options since the side effect of this drug was severe neuropathy in my case. They were supposed to have requested testing of the lung biopsies to see if I was a candidate for an immunotherapy drug from the very beginning. I asked each time I went for my regular treatments and they never had any results back and were going to check and let me know. My doctor kept telling me that it wouldn't matter because she would suggest the chemotherapy I was on no matter what the results were. I finally pressed her after I had finished my 6 rounds and had had one of the maintenance treatments and told her I definitely was not interested in any more chemo since my tumors had never shrunk and I wanted to know what else she could offer. Reluctantly, she said I could go on an immunotherapy drug as a maintenance instead of chemo. Since I was traveling about 4 hours each way and I knew I could get the same treatment done at a local cancer center, I transferred my care from CTCA to a local oncologist. What really has upset me is that my new doctor, right away, requested the genetic tests that I had been waiting for for months, and had the results by my next visit. Because of the results, I was a candidate for a drug called Keytruda and I could have had Keytruda instead of undergoing the chemotherapy. It could have been my first line of treatment and I probably would not be dealing with the severe neuropathy that I have. After one treatment, I can already tell that the side effects are not going to be as severe as taking the carboplatin and alimta. I suppose that there must be a reason that I was denied this option, and I have a pretty good idea that it has to do with money. That is the biggest reason I am no longer a fan of CTCA. Another is that one of the things I really liked about CTCA when my husband first started there, was the cafeteria. Most of the food was supposed to be organic and I think, back then, it probably was. You could get grassfed beef for a hamburger, you would get real maple syrup for your pancakes instead of the maple flavored high fructose corn syrup choice you have now. I asked one of the ladies serving in the cafeteria about why they didn't offer the grass fed beef anymore, and she said because it cost too much. I thought it was nice when they offered a discount to patients and caregivers in the cafeteria and I wouldn't have minded that they discontinued the discount if they had kept up their standards but to pay more for less... not very impressed. There were so many differences from the time we began with my husband until I left and in such a short period of time. I think many people who have bragged on CTCA in the past, would be very disappointed in how they are now. It really seems to be all about the bottom line. And folks, if you are a patient, you are worth many thousands of dollars in insurance money to them. Of course, they are friendly and nice. Just get a second opinion and make sure you really are getting the best treatment for you. I learned the hard way. And I can't go back and undo the damage.

I am so glad I ended up going here for a second opinion. My doctors back home missed a VERY significant finding on my MRI. The doctors at CTCA were all over it.... very thorough with running test after test until they had ALL of the answers. Every single person we have encountered has been so sweet, caring and compassionate!

My niece has a rare cancer; Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET). She found a doctor she trusted, a quick, efficient hospital. She was prescribed oral chemotherapy and sent home to return in 3 months for a PET scan. Three months later she returns, her trusted doctor has disappeared; she got her PET and her tumors had enlarged and increased and she was in severe pain. She was refused pain medicine, instead was offered a nerve block ( they had a lot of trouble getting it done). The worst thing was her new doctor told her he knew nothing of NET, had never treated a case of it, and would have to research it and call her back. She left crestfallen ( she’s only 34 years old) and in pain. She went to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and is getting treatment. To add insult to injury her new doctor never called her back, and CTCA wouldn’t send her medical records to Mayo Clinic despite numerous calls on her end and Mayo/Jacksonville’s end. It took weeks for her medical records to be faxed, delaying her treatment. If you have NET avoid the Atlanta franchise of this for profit hospital.

My fiance was diagnosed with squamoues cell carcinoma. The CTCA of Newnan Ga was amazing with his treatment plan and care. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Susan Slavin

Very disappointed in this place. One hand does not know what the other is doing, scheduling issues, doctors that to me don't seem to know what they are doing. Would not recommend this place to anyone. A friend of mine was s that I ent here and I accompanied to her apts. When she leaves in tears battling an already hard situation this is unacceptable and she/I didn't return. Not impressed at all. Not what it says it is!

Beautiful carrying facility! A place of Loving people, you can feel the love❤️ I am thankful!

Al Hart

The best possible place to go if you have to deal with cancer. The rest of the medical field could take a lesson for these people. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Angela Spencer

A place for hope, excellent care and helpful, caring people. I speak only from my own experience at the facility. CTCA makes every effort to provide the best patient care.

Meredith Harper

Most incredible hospital and people, all working together for the patient and the patient's family.

Robert Greene

Very helpful and caring staff

Great people that actually care and knowledge about my type of Cancer!

Cindra Taylor

The services I received for colon cancer was amazing. This is truly a wholistic approach that cared for me physically, emotionally and spiritually. I will forever be indebted to the staff, nurses and physicians that cared for me and made me whole. I thank God each day that I was blessed to be in such great care.

Randy Oyston

This hospital is one of the best, if not the best, for cancer treatment. The staff is very professional and customer oriented.

Roy W

The best treatment facility! My mother was diagnosed with oral cancer in January and was treated at Emory University Hospital for over 4 months. I say treated but in actuality they did absolutely nothing. Her cancer spread quickly and our family was told there was nothing they could do. I called CTCA and they began a whole body, mind and spirit treatment plan in a matter of two days. This is the best facility for cancer patients hands down!

DJ LKE

I love this place. I'm so glad that this place was recommended to me. They make me feel comfortable with understanding my situation. I wouldn't have made it without them. CTCA ROCKS!

Donna S

My husband has been treated for cancer (and returning cancer) at CTCA over the last 3 years. Our first experience was phenomenal. Everyone was caring and considerate and went above and beyond to make the experience one of hope and encouragement. Fast forward 3 years and now CTCA is just another treatment facility. You're a number, not a name. You have a problem? Too bad. You're in pain. Oh, well. You're late for an appointment through no fault of your own, you don't get in. This is simply not the same place it was 3 years ago. I'm extremely disappointed at the care my husband has received this time around. They tell you "call if you need anything, " yet when you call to speak to someone they sound you're bothering them. I feel like no one cares and no one is willing to put themselves out for their patients. There is no one going the extra mile. There is no one really listening anymore. Cancer is a painful, lonely experience for patients and their caregivers. It doesn't help when you feel abandoned by those you trust to manage your care.

Aubrey Howard

If I could put one start I would. This place literally killed my father by not paying attention to what they where doing.
