I’ve had 2 surgeries here & I can tell you from experience that their staff & nurses are such sweet hearts & they made me feel so comfortable I was panicking about the IV & they did everything in their power to ease me & make it painless. The nurses are amazing there might be a couple that are ehh but overall it’s a great hospital I wouldn’t mind having all my surgeries here the nurses truly do care & the waiting time was less than an hour. I absolutely love & recommend this hospital I’ve had 7 surgeries in different hospitals & this has been the best & most comfortable hospital I’ve ever stayed in.

LILLIE JOHNSON

Good place for my son health care and at the same time a fun place for kids to hang out.

armando cespedes

Horrible service and staff with attitude. My two year old was told by her doctor at 10:50am she was ready to go home anytime now, fast forward to 3 pm We are still here. The nurses didn't seem to care about our concerns about why it taking so long, all they kept saying was not ready yet we will check later. Was then told by another nurse after we said this was taking too long that the doctors have to see and send all the other kids home together because they can't do it individually. My two year old doesn't like the hospital food and she is really irritated by it and too it off we don't even know when we will be going home since apparently it can't be done separately.

Alexis Castro

This is the only hospital I go to. Staff is always on point and friendly.

Pedro arcis

Went there twice once for an accident and because I fell off a bike and my lip got stuck on my braces went there they took it off with Anastasia But It took long to attend us but GREAT HOSPITAL AND MOVIES AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE KIDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Janesy Dominguez

Horrible service there intensive care unit Doctors are horrible my son had been admitted on a Sunday due to respiratory distress caused by a viral infection and on Thursday is when they finally decided to check his ears because i had been asking them to for two days now and noticed he had aside from Pneumonia also an ear infection. You would figure that a kid with respiratory infection and four days of fever you would look out for other symptoms and or complications as ear infection well they didnt they would come with there stethoscope hear his lungs ask if we had any question and were on there way they never took the time to examine my son mind you at this point my son was hardly even waking up he was so weak that he would sleep all day I just dont think that him being in intensive care he got the proper treatment there Is no reason why my son after being admitted for four days with RSV which is a respiratory viral infection should have gotten complicated with pneumonia and an ear infection I had to complaint to have test done. I dont recomend this hospital.

Luisa juliana Collazo

Hace everything for children's health and is well adapted for kids to wait.

martha sanchez

being a former patient i cant not complain, i have only had 1 bad experience which was a new nurse who didn't know how to deal with difficult veins but other than that i take my daughter then when ever shes sick and i leave there happily because i know she have treated her and aren't letting me go just to go home. i recommend.

The hospital has an amazing staff. We were there from Sunday to Saturday almost a week because my son has allergies and the reaction was really bad on baby private parts. Everyone from nurses to doctors to staff were vary passionate about their field and very helpful.

Liliana Chavez

My complaint is not about the staff or any of the doctors or nurses. Actually, they are always great. During the visit, my daughters insurance cars are scans for then to bill the visit, however I received collection bills due to billing office sent bills to incorrect insurance. I had call multiple times and provide the ins information.

Karlos Zambrano

The worse phone system for a hospital. Called 10 times in one day. 5 times the day before. Impossible to get through. Extremely cheap phone and answering system that cant answer ay questions. If i could give you a negative star rating, I would -5 stars.

Erick Romero

I was here last night and I recibe de worst service ever by far, I arrive at 11 pm with my 19 days baby because he has a problem in one eye an a live at 6am with out attention and every time I asked you help they just tell me, te doctor will be here in five minutes but that never happens. I hope you gays improve that because de children deserve more...

fernando Camargo

Very good

carmen Guzman

My son had brain surgery, Everyone doctor, nurses and other staff where great!

Stephany Valesco

The worst hospital ever!! Graveyard staff is terrible and disrespectful!!! I am active duty member and I was told that if I didn’t calm down that they wouldn’t take care of my son who just had a seizure till the next morning

Erika Glenn

I took my daughter here in April of 2015 and didn't have the greatest experience. Fast forward to the week before Thanksgiving when I'm trying to get a letter of diagnosis for my daughter's school in order to get permission for her to get a rolling backpack due to her genetic condition. Carrying a heavy backpack causes stress on her joints and severe bruising. I've called multiple times and left messages and my reason for calling with her dob, name and everything with the doctor who saw her to get NO RESPONSE. I feel like they don't care at all. This is a 6 year old child we're talking about. Despicable. Between this and my extremely poor experience when I visited the facility...I will NEVER bring my children here again.

Wendy

Today I went for a meet up that we had in here. They have color coded parking garages. Blue, yellow, orange, and the red for the emergency part. Our meet up was in the research building, an impecable place with wonderful service. I found out today that they have different locations, not only miami dade but also Broward and the palm beaches.

Ramon Bourgeois

Don’t waste your time trying the emergency room services. You might as well be in the cue for a Disney Ride. 2 hours waiting to see a doctor while my daughters temperature kept rising. Never again. Waiting room must have been at 35F, freezing! If you were not sick by the time you got out of there you were. No one explains to you how the process works. I went into a line and then I was pulled into a triage with my daughter. Then trown back to the waiting pool, then called for the finance Dept, then thrown back to wait again and again!! By the way, I don’t need the Patient /Customer Service number canned Reply to all bad reviews you sent to everyone who types them in google. I am never coming back!

W S

I went to the emergency with my son and the doctor gave him a Wrong Diagnosis. I'm not going to be specific about it but my son's primary care doctor told me that he was 100% sure this hospital was wrong about what they told me. Now the question is ...My son problem was simple and non death situation...Can you imagine putting the most precious thing you have in your life in their hands? This is absolutely crazy. NEVER AGAIN!

Annette Almonte

I TRULY LOVE!!! Visiting the Nicklaus Children's Hospital for medical treatment for my children, the experience is like no other, there's never a fuss or crying over visiting the children's hospital is always an all time high experience, from the Medical Doctors and staff to the comfortable and extraordinary Michael Fux Family center, makes waiting a whole new and fun experience. Is with great pleasure that we look forward TO VISITING AGAIN EVERY TIME WE LEAVE. THANKS FOR THE OUTMOST AND EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! From the Schaper's-Almonte :)

Valeria Macias

For me is one of the best hospitals is logical that the time one has to wait is for the priority to children with more urgency or medical necessity 5 stars for this hospital :-)

Maximiliano Feria

Great experience here at the Urgent Care. When Most people come here is because there is a child in need. You have to understand you are not the only ones here and there is time to wait. I am happy with the results. Nurses are always smiling and supper fast.

Mario Raúl Ramos Morera

Two hours in emergency room with a baby vomiting, really? Something may be wrong on that equation, it’s for sure not free and not cheap.

ER takes a long time to get through (average for us 4 to 6hrs). In the last year we have gone four times for possible bone break. Waiting room estimate minimum is about an hour plus. Then in room- more waiting, xray area much more waiting and still more waiting, to get cast on (boot or air cast), documents and out. Under staffed to treat patients on a timely basis and it wasn't a busy day last time we were there. After xray I pushed my son to a common room were more waiting 'til doctor comes to announce the damage (spoke to doctor in hallway). Male nurse was very uncaring, put cool pack on wrong area of injury and was not mindful. We had a question and another nurse sitting by answered. We need to find a better hospital that's more caring to all its patients and not only with special privileges. We pay enough insurance and co pay.

Dan Perez

As a long-time independent video producer for the hospital, I've had the great privilege to have had access to the many caring healthcare professionals and administrators employed at Miami Children's Hospital. I'm always impressed by not only the high level of expertise but of the great lengths they go to create a hospital environment that focuses on the children and families they serve. It is truly a diamond in our midst and the South Florida community should consider itself fortunate to have a nationally recognized hospital right here in their backyard.

James Olinger

My son has to go there for his dentist appointments I have zero complaints with the staff. Each visit is superbly handled. My complaint is any kind of communication is beyond belief. Most of the time when you call you are prompted to leave a voice mail which for a medical office is appalling or you're left on hold for anywhere from 45 minutes to 90.

Mercy Donohue

Long waits. Excellent doctors but long waits.

Step deRdeR

Natalia, she was very nice, help me a lot from the parking lot , i was lost and she guide me to get to drs office, also she guide me back to the elevator , nice to have a doctor's visit when is nice people around u and willing to help. God bless u all!

Tatiana Consuegra

Nicely decorated for Christmas. Staff is friendly and professional.

The Country Family

If I could rate 1/2 star I would. Numerous and Horrible experiences in the PICU. Note : Please do not respond that you regret the experience I had, as I am still trying to resolve my issues on a daily basis and still getting nowhere. I have already contacted Guest and Patient relations. Thank you.

Silvana Silva

Amazing care. First class hospital. If your child needs to ever go to the doctor, this is the place.

Mariela Perez

Horrible Experience in Radiology! Sitting for two hours, and no DR came to me to discuss results, until I finally decided to get up and ask and the two ‘young’ people at the desk were doing absolutely nothing, with headphones on and then they tell me that the results were negative. Nothing else. Couldn’t even speak to a DR to get more info. Horrible Service.

Cristina L

Amazing customer service all around. Our daughter had an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon at the Spine Center. We fell in love with this place. Great concept of the blue dots. My daughter loved it. : ) Dr. Shufflebarger and his staff are amazing. There was a slight delay but the staff was apologetic. The male tech was friendly, patient, and caring. Her x-ray was hassle-free and quick. This experience definitely made-up for our most recent negative visit at a local imaging center. We should have come here instead. Parking is a breeze and free. It is worth the drive because they accommodate children and teens. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Karla Corro

Hello- I just wanted to say that I do not have the pleasure coming to Children Hospital or urgent care anymore. From my past and most recent experiences I do not think that the doctors are really giving it their all. I did not feel heard, I did not feel any concern from the doctor, I just feel as though they are not here to cure someone but to treat them and prescribe medication without conducting any lab work when necessary. I gave this place a 2 Star because the nurses are super sweet and listen carefully to what the parent is saying on another note they also liked to hide from time to time and the wait time is very low, the place is impeccably clean too. I would not recommend this hospital or urgent care to anyone. Before you see a doctor you will meet with so many people then be sent home with their professional opinion instead of the facts. I need to write a letter to the head administration to file a complaint can someone please get in contact with me or provide me with an email? Sincerely, a concerned parent

Pretty good hospital, but it took almost the WHOLE day to be released! Not to mention the bad side effects, like the anxiety and panic attacks after the surgery...

Marcel Cardoso

The best attencion ever.....congratts

Sylvia Garcia

My first visit here I could not believe how rude people were. I have had negative after negative experiences here at this hospital. They are not very welcoming. The nurses are not at all attentive and seem to always be in a rush. My son was admitted a few times to dirty rooms and the cafeteria is extremely overpriced for such a small selection of food. My only pleasant experience is meeting Dr. Khatib and his team that are treating my son.

KATARZYNA BATTILLO

Great staff! Top caregivers! best hospital in Miami!nice and very professional teams of top doctors and nurses will go the extra mile for your kids! Big thanx!

Sherika Silcott

I've relocated from Alaska for my son's cancer treatment and I must say, I have been very pleased with the service and care overall from the entire staff at this hospital. Even on the bad days things seemed to eventually get better throughout whatever issue. I recommend this hospital to anyone wanting to relocate for cancer treatment.

Kelsi Martin

Operators who field phone calls to depts are beyond rude, do not listen or know how to answer questions. Was constantly interrupted and placed on hold. I'll be following up back at Nemours Childrens Hospital even if it takes me an additional hour to get there. Can not even believe how rude this hospital staff is!! Very unprofessional!

Ivonne Lamas

Miami Children's Hospital is the best! They have amazing doctors and staff! I recommend this hospital to anyone looking for the best care available for your child.

Ariadna Medina

Went to the emergency room with my 9 month old daughter yesterday because she had a rash on her tummy and arms. We were waiting for 4 hours. I think is ridiculous waiting so much time to see a doctor when you have a baby.

Patrice Johnson

Great place very worm and homely feeling

Javier Cabanes

Not too good. Nurses are friendly but still took over an hour and a complaint to get a doctor to see our daughter. She needed an aerosol and the mask they found was very big for her but didn't have her size. It is a children's hospital....you can expect a better treatment!

Yoan Almonte

Looks like only a doctor was on duty really long wait just to get my little girl an x ray. Parking is a problem almost every spot belong to vallet parking. There are color parking building but they forgot to write for who those parking are for, went into one got stucked with a car behind because I needed to swipe a card. First time visiting and the last, Jackson or Mercy Hospital are way better

I have seen myself in the bitter obligation to share my unpleasant experience on this site ... I will begin by saying that I am a first-time mother of a 1-month-old baby, who with only 4 days of coming to this world saw me in the obligation to take this place urgently, not because of my decision, but because my rescue help had to decide for their safety. As soon as I arrived at the hospital, the service was pessimistic, they kept me several anxious minutes in a room with my baby in arms passed out waiting for a doctor to see him ... Haaa but as soon as I arrived they rushed a lot to look for my medical insurance data, I imagine payment interests. When finally a doctor came he asked me many questions because my baby already had reacted and never any doctor came to see him fainted since they took a long time. They were desperate minutes in that room. They kept us there for at least 5 hours without telling us anything about it ... or water they gave us ... and that without mentioning in the state that I was only 4 days from my caesarean section. Finally about 6 hours I went out to inform myself because the only doctor who happened to worry about the state of my son did not speak Spanish and then there was no communication. they forced me to stay in the hospital for almost 24 hours, I felt like a prisoner because they wouldn't let me go with my son to another hospital and the attention was really bad during the next few hours that passed there ... they took me to a room without conditions to because of my condition and I had to stay there, I could breastfeed ... During the whole time I was in that horrible place they gave me neither water nor food ... anything and not to mention that none of their doctors came to a conclusion of what happened to my baby, I don't know if their interest would only be to charge my medical insurance and that is why they held me there without a specific answer. I suffered from surgery pain and they were not able to give me even a pill to the pain .If I continued until 1.00pm in the afternoon I had to wait again for a doctor who took too long to give my son the record ... minutes I must add they gave me without giving me any concrete answer of what my son suffered With all this history I want to send to my hospital my strong criticisms for the poor attention of all the staff that met us ... and so that other mothers do not even think of taking their children there, so that they do not live the bitter experience that I lived.

Bad experience I lost my daughter cause Neuro surgeon over there my advice is don't take your kids over there

Suzanne Davidson

Great experience, well cared for, amazing doctors & nurses

Francoise Pratt

Incredibly kind and knowledgeable nurses.

Apex Predator Outdoors

First rate hospital with caring, often multilingual staff. They have the latest technology and physicians that are innovators in their field.

Maria Miranda

Great service, staff very professional.

Elvy Stansfield

Visited the Urgent Care, very pleased to say it took us only 3 hours in and out (consultation, X-rays, dismissal). My daughter had a knee sprain so needed X rays, therefore we visited Radiology as well. Everybody was very nice and helpful and the new building amazing. It is really tailored for kids. Didn't get the bill yet but I am sure won't be cheap

J Lugo

We come here weekly to the orthopedic department because of our 5 months old baby and can't say it's perfect but the doctor and nurses are very good and kind. Sadly today we had to come to emergency, nothing too serious but been here for 4 hours and counting giving me time to write a review and change my mind and put 1 star instead of 2 I originally thought. Oh and dirty floors too.

Dee Jerry Dixon

I had the worst experience in the neurology department. After waiting over 5 months for my appointment I never received a call to confirm my appointment, so I called. I asked if I need to be 30 minutes early, about the insurance and referral. The following day I arrived only 5 minutes before due to parking at the hospital. I was met with a receptionist that told me I needed a referral that had my insurance name on top. She told me to call the insurance, she then informed me I had 15 minutes or my appointment will be cancelled. Needless to say I didn't meet HER deadline. I am not upset that they treated me badly, or that my 6 month old didn't mean anything to her. What upset me was the lack of professionalism, and empathy she didn't explain it was my pediatrician that needed to fax the form. Instead when I handed her my phone to talk to the insurance she handed me my appointment for 3 months away. I asked her name to which she did not want to give me but had to it was Natalie, then her co worker explained everything I needed to do. Please do not allow this person like this to work around sick children. As parents we are scared and stressed out and all we have to do is show some compassion for any situation. If this has happened to you as well. Please file a formal complaint as well with the hospital.

toya 100%

Service here is great.

Ozzie Herrera

If you ever find yourself in the position of having to take your sick child to a hospital (which I hope you never have to) I highly highly recommend you stay away from Nichlaus Children's Hospital (formerly Miami Children's Hospital). My child died under the care of the oncology team and it was by far the worst experience of my life. Please do yourself, your child and your family a favor and look for a better place. The problems to this place start at the very top and trickle all the way to the bottom. It's so sad because there are genuinely good people who work there that care about kids but many of the doctors and administration do not. Stay away!

Jose Quesada

Amazing how places change. today 8/30 under hurricane alert. nicklus children decided to dump, throw away all parents cars outside the parking lots. yes after paying a fortune for regular services, lack of nurses, lack of assistants, lack of respiratory therapists, today they took the intelligent idea of throwing away, or not letting parents' cars inside the garages in a very bad way. They don't care that parents like me have been here for 3 weeks and I'm likely to spend 3 more. today they took the brilliant idea of throw parents cars with all the rain outside the garages. It is incredible what investors do with places. after this change from miami children to Nicklaus children has been all for the worse. less personal for patients, more money for nothing and a security team that apart from talking on the phone, the other thing they do is treat rude to parents that need to be here for the children not for pleasure.

Stephen Froeber

We were flown in from Key West for my daughters head injury. When we first got into the triage area, it seemed like it was not going to be a good experience. However, once we got admitted and went to the PICU and the recovery room, the staff was very caring and helpful. So far my daughter is doing great and we've been very grateful for the care we received here.

Tulia Villeda

I love this place, they always help my kids

Ozzie Way

My kid had a great time here

Sadiel Novo

Too long waiting for a doctor when it's supposed to be fast, between 2 and 5 am. Bad for the kids having pain at night.

Sunny Brown

Drove all the way from Pensacola and the staff did a shotty job for a second opinion obviously because my son has children's medical service insurance and not private insurance they can't discharge him fast enough. Left him for twenty minutes in the care of a nurse when I returned he was wrapped up in his EEG cords shoved in the corner unable to move crying his eyes out. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone and if you don't speak Spanish you'll have a hard time too. Severely disappointed and unimpressed

Luigigirl123 .

thank you for taking care of my family :) i gonna give it 10 out of 10

Nehme Gedeon

Horrible customer service, you have to chase them for results. At least 20 min wait every time you call. Plus the place is not adult friendly, it’s for kids, examination desk where you lie for the doctor to examine you is like 4ft long.

Hades Gonzalez Vnx

The emergency is a factory. Tons of people writing on screen in huge room and halls, long wait 3-5 hours. Fancy and colorful Registration Area.

Danaisy Fernandez

I absolutely love this hospital! I had a couple of surgeries when I was younger here and the doctors and nurses are very attentive and caring and make it less scary for the children. I also volunteered in the pre-op and post-op department so I know how crazy it can get and hard the nurses work. I wouldn't recommend any other hospital but this one.

Yuniel Garcia

Thank god for this hospital full of exceptional nurses doctors and staff every single one of them are great with the kids and us the critical parents. I'm alive today thanks to them doing such a great job back in 1990 when I came in to this hospital lifeless and then 13 years ago they helped fix my oldest sons arm that was not able to move and they have done it again in the last year they were able to find the cause of two very rare diseases in my youngest son as we were about to take him to Boston if no one here in florida could figure out what was causing all his problems our local hospital on the other coast tried very hard but didn't have the resources necessary and in Tampas all CHILDRENS hospital the ER didn't even put an effort to try to understand what was wrong with him so as soon as the storm that was affecting the Miami area went north last year I told my wife let's go it's 3hrs away but they save lives and have all the specialists we could ever need under one roof. Needless to say we love this hospital the brain institute the GI team the neurologist team and neurological teams on both 3 south and now on 5t worked wonders to find that our son had glut 1 deficiency and Wilson's disease our son loves coming to the hospital here and going to see the doctors he still calls it what I'm used to calling it for me it's MIAMIs CHILDRENS hospital they take care of the whole family not just the ill kids they try to make the family feel better at the same time and prepare you to deal with your child's needs while giving you emotional support all at the same time. Thank you for all that everyone does.

Jazmen Cruzado

The nurses at the tower on the 4th floor are horrible ! that's the NICU floor. I had my daughter in Fort Pierce and right after I had my c-section they moved her way down here for she can have surgery. The only good nurse on that floor is Naomi she called me everyday she informed me about every little detail she showed me where everything was. The rest of them was rude act like they didn't care about the job. Especially the male charge nurse And then after 3 weeks of my child being there they moved her to 2 North without letting me know I came to the hospital and I found out when i arrived. Someone should have called to inform me but like i said they don't care . When I gets to 2 North I found my baby with milk all over her lips crust in her eyes like no one cleaned her up. Then the nurse hit my baby's head by just picking her up out of her Giraffe bed she hit the top part it was by mistake but come on now !!!! My baby is only 3 weeks old. My daughter is anemic also I told the Night Nurse this but she continues to Let Her Go without a hat on and just wrapped up in one sheet of blanket and her room is freezing !!! i had 3 blankets wrapped around me to keep me warm . I just really can't wait till my daughter gets out this Hospital !!! The doctors are great but the nurses sucks!! and one this floor 2 North it's never nobody sitting at the desk you can never find nobody !!

keith tkach

The nursing staff is phenomenal!

No long wait time. Excellent customer service with a top of the line facility. Best hospital we’ve been to in south Florida

Ina Sassoon-Cohen

AWESOME! My daughter needed Open Heart Surgery in 1995. That's how we met Dr. Redmond Burke. We had gone down to the hospital to have my daughter's surgery for ASD by Dr. Supramanium . He was awesome and so sweet to my daughter and my family. My daughter had all tests done down there and surgery was scheduled for June 21st, 1995. After school was over. She finished her freshman year in H.S. And a few days later we had a friend drive us down to Miami. He had business down there that day. When we got there we found out Dr. S couldn't do the surgery. He introduced us to Dr. Redmond Burke. The rest is a beautiful story that I want to keep to our family and Dr. Burke! Dr. Burke is Sweet, Kind, Loving and has a the best bedside manor I have ever seen on a Doctor. This man loves children!

Janette Sierra

Worst hospital ever! I took my daughter with a horrible rash all over her skin and all they did was do a throat swab and they supposedly did a urine test and they really didn’t, they send me home my daughter kept getting worst and worst 72 hours later my daughter kept getting fevers of 104 I took her to her pediatrician. Next thing you know my baby had an infection and low white cells. They will be hearing from me again. They aren’t giving too much attention to the kids anymore. Smh.

Jorge Torres

Please avoid this hospital!!! (Abajo está la versión en Español) I just received a letter from a collection agency for an "unpaid balance of $791" from a Emergency Department visit back in February of 2018!!! One year and seven months later!!! Why did I have to find out through a collection agency? After waiting on hold for 45 minutes I was told the insurance just paid a small portion of the $4,600 bill... For only 3 hours!!! I could not believe $4,600 for a 3 hours visit!!! How could they invoice that amount??!!! I got a copy for the invoice and I was offended to see how much they charged. A couple of examples: - $160 for Sodium Chloride Injection Solution 0.9%, 1000-mL. On line you can buy this for $10.99... 14.5 times the price I would pay outside!!! -$319 for a Comprehensive metabolic panel... Which out of pocket would cost between $25 to $50 USD... Between 6 to 13 times the cost! It is UNFAIR that, although I'm insured (which I pay $3,000/month for my family) and I already paid this hospital $700 for my copay, I still need to pay $800 more! It's not a problem with my insurance... It's a problem with the amount Nicklaus Children is charging for their services!!! I know Nicklaus Children's Hospital has financial difficulties but I should NOT pay for their INEFFICIENCIES! What a disgrace! No wonder why so many people go Uninsured. If you go to the ER, they MUST accept you by law... Then, Patient Access would only ask you for $200, $300, $400 or whatever they can get from you... I will never consider going to Nicklaus Children's ever again! ¡Nunca volveré a ir a Nicklaus Children's!

It's very welcoming

Most incompetent office I’ve ever seen. You can’t call because no ever picks up and their system hangs up on you. They don’t confirm appointments, appointments are 3 months apart. I’ve spent a year trying to meet with the doctor and there’s always an excuse to reschedule for 3 months later. They don’t have email they don’t have fax. If you can find another doctor, do so. They have so much business they don’t care. No help.

Sad that I was basically raised in this hospital as a kid & now that I have an infant I felt comfortable bringing him here. But sadly the wait I have experienced for my 3 month old in ER was ridiculous. I have gone to baptist for myself and it’s been extremely quicker. My nurse was Jessica & the EMT was Jackie. I was seen by Jessica who revised my son then later took more than 30 mins to “speak” to touch base with Jackie to see what to do. All of this wait while his feeding was supposed to happen. I understand that he couldn’t eat until they knew whether or not an ultrasound was going to be done but it took at least an hour for them to just figure that out. Not happy with this experience..

Jack Nicklaus, I heard from sources he donated fifty or sixty million dollars to Miami Children's Hospital, I consider not a good hospital starting with the staff, perhaps due to the hot shots who run now spending millions making the hospital look pretty, and neglecting important issues. Undeserved high sallaries for some, while the patients get the same old care. I do not understand why some of these people over rate, more than one star, you do not get stars for being nice. Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital would be my choice. "Before you respond to my review, start by getting rid of useless employees."

I love this hospital and I wouldn't change it for another place, I trust this place with my kids, I have been coming here for 20 years now, had emergencies and non emergency situations with my kids and all the time they took good care of them fast. If you have a non emergency situation like pink eye or other small problem and don't want to wait 3 to 4 hours take your kid to the PCP and not to emergency room so you don't have to complaint. My point is! This is the best hospital for kids. And they will take care of you as soon as they can depends of your emergency. They are prepared for anything and have the best Doctors. Thank you for taking care of my 4 boys for years.. I love the palmetto bay one is faster to go there. They open 2pm to 11pm.

Johana Bonanno

I only have great words of appreciation towards the staff, doctors, nurses that took care of my son during the emergency that took us to the hospital! They were also very empathic and warm with my anguish which I found very comforting. The hospital is also in great conditions, clean and well equipped. If you ever have an emergency with your kid. This is the place to take them.

Diana Padilla Arango

The staffing of the MCH are good and the specialist Doctors too but if you going to the Urgent Care not!! The doctors aren’t professional. They told me in Urgent Care that my baby pull his hair until ripped, after that I request an appointment with the Dermatology and she told me that he has alopecia areata and the other that my baby has asma and they don’t give them anything, the doctor just tell me that give him Albuterol and Pulmacort and that’s it, you can take him to the DayCare after this visit. And I took him to the DayCare because I need to work and the doctor told me that’s completely fine. Then the DayCare told me that I have to take to emergency because he doesn’t breathe very well. So I took him to another place (Baptist Kendall) and they calm his asma.

I am a Hospital clown from New York's Healthy Humor working at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami entertaining Children, Family, and Staff. Laugh is the Best Medicine

The staff are very courteous and attentive. Visitor parking (Green Parking) is sufficient and there is a cafeteria and Subway. There are also 2 Cafes (1 in new bldg and 1 in main bldg). Miami Children’s Health System recently changed its name to Nicklaus Children’s Health System (NCHS).

Mr_Big_Boss305

Horrible service, you go and the doctor treat you like garbage, and when you try to talk with them is something imposible, they just get in the room and leave 1 min after, leaving you with a ton of question. It’s like they where working in a factory, they tried to get rid of you so they can move down in the production line. Facilities are fancy and some of the staff are very friendly other than that it’s worthless. It is a shame that one of the most important hospital in our community have such a bad service

nova stunts

Not only is this hospital the best but hands down for the night crew. Big thank you to Brian and Nicole in the ER the best combo ever. They were very polite, helpful, personable and gave us warm blankets.

Frank Figueredo

Amazing place with extraordinary ppl providing great care.

Anna Lozoya

Such an awesome place. Everyone is eager to help.

Was sitting down in the waiting room for a while with my Son whom had vomit 8X. A friend of one of the staff came in with his sick Son, 2 minutes later they brought him in we were left waiting. Freaking people.

Elvis Fernandez

If you do not want to spend a whole night with your kid waiting for a doctor go somewhere else,if I could give zero star that would be perfect.

Marvin Lopez

I wish i could give you 10 stars ,. we have been there a couple of times with our son and have been treated not only fast but always with respect and making us a priority, they even transported us to urgent care, offered us the commodity of having a meal at their nice cafe ,in the entrance a Vallet parking associate took our car, and brought the keys to our room all for free. To the person who said these are garbage Doctors,, maybe it all depends how you approach them, and the person who comment bad on Vallet parking guys, they don't charge you they just try to make you feel comfortable make you feel home. Thanks to our Nurse Elizabeth for her service and Doctor Nunez thanks to all the friendly staff, they even took pictures to our son with their super heroes they have there giving away toys making kids have a smile even in their illness times, Thanks to all of you

Katye Rodriguez

The best hospital ever!!! I’ve gone there for years and even before they had diagnosed me with diabetes, the service has been wonderful

This place use to be the better place to take you child but not no more. Emergency for children's sucks they have no doctor You Take 5 hours so they can see your son or your daughter. And they give you rooms with the war without paint and equipment that is missing very horrible please do not take child here.

Yosian Martinez

Horrible service, just spend 7 hours at the emergency room with my 14 year old son, to get treating for an infection under his armpit. From 3:30pm to 10:30pm. This staff wanted to send all type of testing, because they don't either know any thing by experiment on you. I allow a cd scan, the blood labs, but no "×-rays," knowing that radiation are harmfull, is enough we are getting radiation every where we go. And don't mentioned this people you don't use pharma medicine, they do get so ofended! Ofcourse is a big businees. People don't care about humanity as long they paid their bills. So sad. Luckly I have knowlegment how to treat my son & I with natural remedies & herbs. They send me some antibiotics to kill the infección, fine! I gave him raw garlic every morning with other natural treatments; and today he is much better and recorvering. God give us the herbs to cure us. My faith is strong! This Hospital used to be a very good place to take your childrens before 2012, I have brought my son here since he was born.

My son was diagnosed with epilepsy just before he turned 15 years old. He had absences seizures non violent. He started having accidents( wetting himself). In the beginning. But They stopped for 6-7years. My son has been seeing Dr. resnick for 8 years. He just turned 22 dec,14 2018. Last year he started having accidents again and Resnick basically said ignore the accidents and let’s focus on finding a medication that can help control his seizures he wasn’t concerned that my son was back to where he started.. January 28th 2019 I went to wake my son up at 6am for work and I found him dead. No doctor ever told me there was a chance of my son dying. No one ever told me it was possible to loose my son. I should have researched it before and maybe I would’ve gotten the information and steps I needed to keep my son alive. No doctor showed any concern about him getting worse the past year. This is a warning... 1 out of 1000 adults suddenly pass away from epilepsy. Be aware and ask every question possible. Don’t count on any neurology doctor telling you any information if you don’t ask.

Reinier R

Take good care of my son from medication to well care from nurses and doctors.

This Hospital Is The Worse Place To Bring Your Child There Racist & Have A Discrimination Thing Going On Over There Social Worker Is Very Rude Not Helpful At All She Tells Patient She Dont Want Them There Administrators Also Rude Dont Know How To Talk To People They Serve Spanish Better Then Black People They Dont Take Care Of Your Kids They Will Let Child Get Worse Before Your Child Get Better They Not Helpful At All They Have The Worse Service In Miami If I Would Suggest You Take Your Child To Joe Dimaggio I Can Go On & On About They Service But Im Going To Keep It Brief

Wow let me begin saying that we went to an urgent care for my son that had a swollen face to the Miami Lakes Office. After a few test found out my son had a bit of blood in his urine on a routine and strep throat. Right away they determined he needed to be taken to the Main Hospital. We were expecting our visit to be the usual routine checkup, medicine sent to CVS and go home but that was not the case. Within 2 Hours they the LIFE FLIGHT ambulance pick us up. Very professional and my wife got in the Ambulance with them. They have a TV in there showing my son kids movies the entire way. I got to the Hospital and it was very easy with all the color coordinated signs to find the locations and where to park. They had a room ready for my son when he arrived and as I walked upstairs I noticed how clean this entire hospital was. Gave my ID to the security and right away I was int he 3rd floor with my son. Right away doctors were in the room letting us know they are evaluating the situation. As soon as we go there which was a Thursday they have a Radio Station in there and the volunteers some around giving kids some scratch pads to enter into a contest to win a prize. My daughter that is 4 years old was with me and she drew and scratched some pads to enter the contest. they came back took pictures and told us the winner would get a prize. 1 Horus later they came in with some hot wheels for my 7 years old son that was sick and a Frozen Anna doll for my daughter and told them they won. The girl told me secretly that they all win and they do this every Thursday on every floor in every room to make the kids staying there feel better. So when you donate a toy to Radio Lollipop we now know its real and its for a good cause that really works. The Nurses are very friendly and the doctors work together to find the best solution for my son. One Doctor wanted to do a Biopsy but then another 2 doctors after doing blood work 2 days later decided it was no necessary. The hospital has one the first floor a room (Michael Fux) where kids can go play with Xbox, Screen projector Floor games, Mini Movie Theater and even Free Massages, Manicure and Pedicure for the adults staying there overnight. Between me and my wife we switched nightly sleeping over at the hospital with our son but that room downstairs made it so much easier for us to take our daughter and keep her distracted while my son was recovering and getting better. I cannot express how THANKFUL we are to have such a great hospital with such a great staff during the time we were there. he Volunteers that show up at the door asking if they wants to play board games with my son was such an extra bonus. We were finally discharged and for the first time ever we felt sad we were leaving such great people.

Great service, staff very professional.

Shame on you not providing English speakers staff every time I go I have to wait till they find somebody to translate I don’t even know if its accurate. Where the hell am I ?! Isn’t this the united states ?! Plus the elevators are always so dirty! Is this hospital in the states? Or shelter in cuba!!

Great children hospital

The service was good. But when I had a question about the payment it was impossible to get through to a representative. After half an hour of waiting time on the phone I had to ask for a call back. They never called. Also when I tried the option "no callback, remain on the line" it was not possible! They asked again for my phone number for a callback. Imagine... I was only trying to pay!!

I went to nicklaus children’s hospital because of my daughter’s condition and unfortunately i was in a rush and I left my airpods in my car, someone at the valet parking stole them because when i came back they were gone. I filed a report and they haven’t got back to me, im the one who called and spoke to the manager but what he said to me that what ever happened is not their responsibility and that there’s nothing they can do. If this is the case i wont ever think about parking with the valet which the hospital offers. The bad thing is that i have to come back to the hospital for more appointments now i to find away to park my car elsewhere because i DO NOT TRUST THE VALET PARKING. The only thing i got from the valet parking manger is not to leave nothing IN MY CAR , IS MY CAR and I CAN LEAVE WHAT I WANT is doesn’t give them the right to steal someone else stuff. Please whoever goes to nicklaus children’s hospital be careful because they will still your stuff and they will cover each others back. It’s shame that you come habe to come to this place because your child is sick and as a parent it worries me, now i have to worry about leaving my car at the valet parking.

rajandseema123 .

Is nightmare at this hospital for behavior department .u don't meet the doctor's and nurse to find out what's going on with ur child and it is circus inside the the facility having bunch kids work in there.i never see any help for my child she is getting worst in that place.she was not stressed out to much and begin in there send her total insane with the medications. ok because the doctor started to give meds keep increasing the dosage my child was going crazy pulling out her her hair in her eyelashes and her head and scraping her skin off her hands OMG.

Have been coming here to treat my daughter's (ITP) for 3 months now and the experience everytime has been great. I would like to specially give a 5

Scarleth Carrion

Honestly the worst experience ever. If you don’t call the nurse, they won’t even bother to give you a viste to your room and see if your baby is okay or if you need something. When you call the nurse they are either lost not knowing what they doing or they take way to long to get to your room and help you out with your child, they shouldn’t take forever. All they have is coffee is cold in the 3rd floor (not everyone drinks coffee) the coffee in emergency is way better. My 8 month had to stay over night at the hospital and one doctor told us one thing and the morning does another thing. They didn’t give my any sock to cover my baby feet. I’m not going to say everyone there is not friendly but some just need to change their career or have more attention to hospital patients, more if they are working with Children’s. I hope they change that and have the nurse visit the rooms more often to see how the kids or babies are doing. Also, the emergency room needs a bit more help when it come to the front desk. They should be more friendly. Make you feel less worry and give you a good energy. That’s the reason I’m not giving this hospital 5 stars cause I believe it needs more help.

Amazing service ! With everyone we encountered! Stephanie our nurse was awesome and doctor Colon amazing! A gentleman name Luis visited our room a couples times asking if we needed anything, wow super pleased !

I love this hospital is #1

Nicklaus will not be a national or even a regional leader in pediatric medicine until it has a pediatric pain management program that services the children in the community. Until then it is what it is - a local, podunk kids clinic. **Update: If you are a parent searching for pediatric pain management (none in Miami-Dade or Broward) Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg has a pediatric chronic pain management program!!

Raysa Otero

I been going to this hospital for a long time because I had my oldest daughter in physical therapy to help heal her knee. They were wonderful and kept telling to do the exercise so that the knee will be better.

Rucvicet Beltran

Best experience ever with the ER service. Faster and very knowledgeable nurses. My child was admittede and the service inside the the rooms was very good, since min one. The food was awesome. Nurses, Doctor, everybody was very nice and really caring. My son was confortable and me too. Exellent job!!

Belinda Palau

Thank you all for helping out in any way, my son Jay , really appreciates all of the love and excellent care provided by the Doctor, nurse & staff team. Jay is feeling better ever since your care and your support really helps out. Special thanks to my nurses Mike Valdes. Benito , Ashley, Molly, Sincerely Palau Family

The best hospital ever! My daughter had her open heart surgery here when she was 3 months old. They took great care of my daughter. Also, most of her specialists are located here. Awesome hospital and staff!!! They even have lactation rooms, sleeping pods, and free valet parking.

Jehiel Mercado

They have a super good cardiac team!

Maria Jimeno

Over all good quality with minor complaints. For starters it's better than the nightmare of jackson (and if you don't believe me check out their reviews) but its kinda just a daycare with psychotropic drugs and hawks on top of your ass. I understand the monitoring, I really do, but maybe next time don't let the nurses and techs throw out a letter of gratitude from one patient to another and establish a 10 foot rule. If one patient can be the key to the progression of another's over all mental stability of daily activity, do not establish a 10 foot rule. Also, maybe seeing a therapist on the daily may be as vital as seeing a psychiatrist, at least in my eyes I see it that way. One last thing, someone really needs to expand the ward. Its a 20 bed unit and the influx of demand is beyond expectation. Some kids have to sleep in the hallways with other portable beds usually brought in from other units that moms typically sleep on. Other than that, I highly recommend this place compared to Citrus and Jackson.

Cubans For Freedom

Hello today I received a notice not very pleasant in medical terms, but personally and humanly very gratifying, I met a child with a very delicate illness, he is Cuban for reasons of privacy, respect and profecionalidad he reserved his name and he of his family, He is a cousin of my youngest daughter and classmate, for him and his family in general I say GOD will always be with you, personally you can count on me I will be to order. Thanks to the foundation that made such a great work of travel and lodging procedures for that Cuban family. So it is done Foundation, UNITED STATES AMERICA.

My complaint is not about the staff or any of the employees. Actually, they are always great. During the visit, as always, someone comes in to collect the co-pay and it was paid for on the spot. Fast forward to about a month later and we get a bill from the attending physician because apparently he is not directly employed by the hospital. I've been to the hospital on many occasions with my kids and this has never happened. I called my insurance company and they verified that the doctor did indeed charge separately. Any time that we have been to the hospital or urgent care we have only paid the hospital deductible. We chose the hospital, not the doctor, so it would only be fair to let the patients and their family know that they might receive a separate bill from the doctor ahead of time.

BEWARE OF SCAM 4th Floor blue parking, when looking for parking I was approached by a valet that blocked the entrance and did not allow me to park unless I do valet because she said it was completely full. I refused and found parking on 5th floor.

I had a concussion and I couldn't even walk but they helped me and now I feel great.

I am more than satisfied with this establishment. This place is top notch for children. Thank you for all you do.

Came here for my sisters nuroblastoma tumor, and the care here has always been amazing. I love it!!

Get ready for insane bills. We went in for a simple x-ray or my son's finger which did not turn out to be broken. The hospital did an xray which was $292.00 and the Doctor came out to tell us to put ice on it ans that it wasn't broken. I got a bill for almost $1400.00 after our insurance had paid. I was told that this was the way it was billed, our insurance only covered $300.00, the rest was up to us. There was no itemization, apparently just walking into the emergency room is a $1204.00 charge. Wow. Stay away if you can. Biggest ripoff in South Florida. The billing department was very rude. They said you should have known that it was that insanely high. Next time go to Urgent care. Its crazy to be paying $1500.00 per month for insurance and then get hit with a bill like this from a greedy, unfair hospital.

Gianna Wolfe feeney

Best pediatric cardiology team. Dr. Gil Wernovsky is now a member of the team. He was one of the top cardiologists who saved my daughters life at CHOP in Philadelphia

Holly Hodge

Beautiful hospital and caring staff (NICU mom that has to travel 2.5 hours to visit my little one). Also stop many amenities that you normally wouldn't expect.

Dahiana Fermin

Great staff. They treat my son with so much love and great care. Dr. Bhatia, Dr Ragheb and the neurosurgeon team are very professional.

Victor Guevara

Takes so long for you to leave the hospital. They will leave you in the room for 1-2 hours.

Jennifer Couto

the emergency room is terrible as well as the urgent cares, my child has had bilateral ear infection for 6 months literally, had tubes put in and now have 3 staph infections in both ears and is resistant to every single antibiotic. everytime I took him to urgent care or ER they would drug him up with more antibiotics and laugh and me. finally I insisted on a culture where the Nurse practioner didn't think it was needed. 3 staph infections!!!! I've called my social worker and patient relations to make a complaint and they don't ever return your call. finally my last visit to the ER I was admitted because my son was throwing up the medication, and the attending DR. referred me to Infectious disease. finally he appears to be getting better. We were there for 4 days, and One night resident came in to check in on my son, I asked her do you know my sons history? She said yes I said I really hope this is over soon, because he cant take anymore of this. her reply was " you know if he continues to have ear infections he will need to see a ENT to get tubes" How could this DOCTOR not read my son's history, he already has tubes! I'm a nurse and we always need to triple check everything otherwise we would lose our jobs! I just can't believe this is happening in a children's hospital very sad!!

Mercy Garcia

Amazing hospital! Love the doctors and staff!

Lauren Mair

This hospital is horrible, I have been waiting over 2.5 hours for the Attending to exam my 8 month old. Every time I asked the nurse when is the Doctor coming they looked shocked like he hasn’t been in yet because he assigned himself to your case etc. God forbid this was life threatening because forget about. Never coming back again no matter what doctor refers me here.

Johana G. Zevallos

Not helpful at all. Don’t even waste your time here.

Marleine Castillo

I honestly don’t even know where to start. I went here back in January for the first time and it was a pretty bad experience. My 17 month old was very sick diarrhea, didn’t want to eat was super pale and weak and couldn’t breathe well. As soon as I walked to the front they advised me it’s best to go a 24 hour clinic better I didn’t understand why but I stayed anyways because well I thought I’d get better help at the actual hospital. I went and signed my daughter up and gave her insurance card and wrote her name and info on the paper work then sat down. Probably 1 hour and half later got called in sat in a chair inside for 20 min then finally got a room we then waited 3 hours for no one to show up my daughter started getting fussy and crying so I decided to just leave. I had a nurse and someone else come in to tell me they are sorry they are really packed that if I would have showed up the day before it wasn’t soo bad(as if I chose to specifically to go that day) my sister later tells me that she has gone maybe 2 times and always waits more than 2 hours so them saying they were “very full that day only” is a lie. Oh and also I keep getting a survey email from them it’s crazy how they couldn’t even get my daughters name right! Who the heck is jennifer???

Eddietheunique Eddietheheunique

About 3 years ago I took my daughter and waited about 4 hours in the emergency room. Horrible service. Read some reviews today and see that the service at this hospital has not changed. It is sad to see since this is a children's hospital.

Crystal Ohayon

This place isn't busy at all I see nurses just lolly gagging because there's literally nothing to do, I saw the doctor chatting a bit also, I've been waiting 3 hrs ! It's now 4am! All so I can get some anti biotic that Should be over the counter for my son. I come here whenever he's sick but I think I'm going to try a different hospital next time , this is ridiculous

Maitel Suarez

Appreciating to Miami Children's Hospital for the excellent Services provided to my Children every time we've needed. Very qualified and professional staff. All Doctors at the hospital are made for our children. I will like to congratulate and thanks the Hand therapist Cherice for the great job and dedication to my daughter and to all the kids i have seen in therapy. Cherice gives the best care that any kid can receive. i will like to advise all parents from my own experience that in case of any emergency with their kids, this is the right hospital to take them. Thanks to miami children's hospital for being there for our children

They are very rude attitude doesn’t match their job position at all

Professional and friendly staff, and every Wednesday they have a really neat Farmers Market

On Monday I went with my son to the ER because he had really bad back pain, a fever and an elevated white blood cell count and elevated CRP. I told them he had been sick for about a week with a cough and runny nose. They did an x ray of his abdomen and told me the back pain was related to him being constipated. Since it was after hours and they didn’t have the lab work from my doctor they didn’t address the high white blood cell count and high CRP and told me it was probably because he had a cold and he was constipated. We went home his fever still wouldn’t go down. At night on Tuesday he started with the pain. This morning I told his pediatrician what had happened and he said he would call the ER doctor to address the high white blood cell count. The ER doctor said for me to go back and we did. That’s when they decided to take a chest x Ray and it turns out my son has pneumonia!! Thank God my pedestrian was vigilant and insisted I go back and get him checked again and spoke to the ER doctor, bc if it weren’t for him who knows what could have happened. I’m still in shock the doctors didn’t think of doing a chest X ray on Monday with his signs and symptoms. Very upset about it.

Barbara Garcia

This hospital is very dirty and disgusting. Everytime I go the restrooms are dirty and even has poop all over the walls. I can't believe how being a children's hospital they can keep this place clean.

Great Hospital

Sara Starr

We had a really amazing experience here. Our two year old was a patient here; we entered through the emergency room. Friendly staff always available and helpful when needed. They got us in pretty quickly, the check in process was made very easy and we were seen as soon as possible. Ultimately we were admitted, the time to get a room was quite long, about 6 hours. The nurses and doctors have been very kind and thorough. They ordered the appropriate tests and ran labs, etc. Results took quite a while to get back but that is expected. While visiting other areas of the hospital, the lobby had several pediatric patients who were getting photos with a therapy dog, there were arts and crafts and several staff present orchestrating a fun time for the children. The cafeteria has a large variety of food including a full salad bar, burgers fried chicken fingers and the like as well as home style plates including chicken, fish or scallops, green beans mashed potatoes etc. They offer a nice dessert selection for all ages including pies, cake, jello, pudding, banana bread and other home made items. Chips, sodas, yogurt and so so much more than your typical hospital cafeteria food. If you are here more than a day or even visiting the cafeteria is definitely a must stop and shop. Overall great experience! What a wonderful staff who took excellent care of our baby.

Vanessa Gala

I thought my first bad experience at an urgent care would be my last. Then I had an x ray tech miss my daughters fracture and asked myself did the Dr not take a look as well? Only for me to have to go back the next day to have a cast placed on my daughter, I viewed the x Ray and the fracture was plain as day and I’m no expert. Now my son went for a circumcision and left anemic and god knows I’m grateful nothing else happened to him. I honestly have been disappointed time and time again by this so called children’s hospital.

Alyssa Torres

In the hospitals mental ward, the food and the quality of the beds weren't very good. Other than that the rest of the qualities of the hospital was great!

Nathalia Gonzalez

Fast service for bloodwork for my dayghter, was out within 30 minutes.

Maries Almarales

Great hospital with excellent service. There are tons of specialists which makes it easier to get all my appointments in. Only down side is that the hospital is a little older but it's nicely decorated for the kids

susan cantalupo

Too bad this beautiful building provided one of the worst experiences. Neurology dropped the ball, the hospitalist pediatricians talked down to me as if their word was gospel and dismissed my opinions about my child's condition and care. Staff was never to be found on the floor and Drs I was promised would come by, never showed. The phone system calling in is a wreck. The psychiatric unit just plain Lied to me. Shame on Drs. Padilla, Montoya and Especially Pratt. What a disgrace. We were discharged with nothing more to go on than when my child was admitted 11 days prior. We were played like a fiddle. I uge anyone to find another hospital.

Luis Hernandez

Great hospital. Great care.

Yurika Delgado

The hospital is great but I feel they have a fraudulent billing system. If you have private insurance they will charge outrageous amounts of money. They are charging me $4,000 for a medicine that costs $210 at the pharmacy. They are billing services provided at the urgent care as if they were provided at the main hospital. You ask them why? They said: that is how it works. To your reply: I did it, Relations Departments said that they audited the account and it was "OK" to charge me an extra day for the services. 11/07 - 11/08 but I got two days charges plus the ER charges, even when I got admitted as inpatient after midnight, it's ok for the hospital to charge the day before admission. Also they said that it was ok to get billed Urgent care services together with ER services. That is how it works. Sadly is a huge business with the kids health. Not counting the thousands of dollars that my insurance have already paid....

Deja Redhead

Awesome staff! Everyone is very friendly and looks like they are happy to be here. The nurses kept me up to date with everything and were extremely caring. I've been to other children's hospitals, but this by far is THE BEST. Definitely recommend here if you're looking for quality service.

Dr. Marcel Deray in the Neurology Department. We took our daughter to him to be evaluated for a sleep disorder and Autism. He wasn't in that room for more than 15mins. He didn't examine our daughter, he didn't read any of the papers that I brought from other Dr's and he treated me, the Mom, as a second class citizen. He spoke to my husband and told him that our daughter had nothing wrong with her except a Mom that was a pushover. He told me that I needed to quit being so soft on her (our daughter is 5!), I needed to put her in her bed, turn off the lights and close the door. He said I was to continue this process until my daughter got the point. He then told the nurse when to give us a follow-up appointment and walked out. He didn't even address the Autism, he didn't look at video's I have on my cellphone showing my daughter's symptoms that brought us in there for the Autism evaluation. I advise that you stay far away from him if your looking for answers for your child.

Had to heart surgeries by Dr.Burke, I'm alive and well and thank him for that. I'm able to do all the activities I want.

We travelled urgently to Miami for an acute infection of our daughter. From the very first moment, we were welcomed, and our daughter was treated with great medical professionalism and love. The level of engagement was amazing. We felt overwhelmed by the support and kindness. The volunteers made her stay much more bearable. I have made dozens of reviews of restaurants, hotels , etc. But this is different. This is a true expression of gratitude. They take care of our more precious gift in life , with total love and expertise. I will be forever thankful.

Our 5 month stay at NICU and CICU was a great experience, everyone was so special. We felt felt like at home.

Went with my child to the emergency department of this hospital and was very disgusted by the conditions of the room we were taken to. The entrance looks beautiful and the front rooms look very updated, but we were taken all the way to the back to a room I think it was 20 something and it was disgusting. The floor was un kept and dirty, the walls have paint peeling, holes and it looks like its being repaired but the it looks like they ran out of paint. The air in the room smelled like mold. The cabinet in it looks like it was taken from a garage sale not even like a hospital cabinet that's secured, my child kept trying to open. I didn't want my child to even lay in the bed, we sat in the chair until the doctor came. The waiting time was a bit ridiculous almost 4 hours waiting, at least our nurse kept checking in on us. Thank god staff was nice but otherwise the conditions of these rooms is Horrible. I managed to look into some of the other rooms in same area, the one next to me looked a bit better but still had these old bedroom cabinets that look like they are falling apart, the one in front of my room looked as disgusting as mine. Why if these rooms are being repaired why are they not closed. The smell was the same as in my room. I'm afraid to take my child in again. When I thought of Nicklaus hospital I never thought I was walking in to something like this. See the pictures I took
