Cancelled my appt due to my car being broken down on the side of the highway and apparently they said that wasn’t a good enough reason. To top that off, they charged my card on file instead of just billing me and waiting for my payment. Billing dept. is rude and ignorant and terrible to deal with . I wouldn’t ever go back

---04/22/19 Edit: the psychiatrist Dr. Karen Newman is amazing and the staff does not reflect her competency and compassion. I told her my side of the story and she was shocked that it happened and thought the whole situation was really unreasonable. She ended up telling the staff to waive the fee. I highly recommend her as a doctor. ---04/17/19 Terrible customer service in both billing and receptionist department. I was told to come back for a follow-up appointment by the doctor, but accidentally forgot about it and was charged a whopping $190 no-show fee. As far as I can recall, I was not made aware that my second appointment was for another 45 minute evaluation. I was under the impression that it was only a follow-up appointment, stated this, and was willing to pay the $80 no show fee, but they showed no compassion for my experience and CHARGED my card the full fee without speaking to me first.
