The billing practices at this location are unethical. They tell you there is no charge for an 'intake conversation' that precedes treatment. You can ask them multiple times (as I did) to explain their billing before making the appointment for intake. I was told clearly that I would receive a phone call if there was to be a charge, but that the intake was more of a quick 'get to know you' before deciding if we both wanted to move forward with treatment. I received no call, leading to my understanding that there was no charge for the initial check-in. AFTER the intake conversation (30 min) they ask you for a credit card number for future appointment billing. On the way out they tell you the quick, topical conversation you just had will cost you $130. Again, to be clear, I asked these questions multiple times when making appointment. They personally apologized and took responsibility for the lack of communication. I have heard 'sorry' from them multiple times, but they are not willing to take responsibility for the charge. They also charged my credit card (given without consent to this charge) when they told me they'd mail me a bill. Truly unethical treatment for people seeking help; great introduction to the world of therapy. Look elsewhere.
