I have tourettes, but my concerning symptom was my worsening ADHD (struggling to relax, memory worsening, etc) when meds weren't helping anymore. I heard about Neurofeedback, but wasn't sure if it was quacky. I decided to try it, tho treatments are pricey. After several months, my results have been amazing! I can finally relax my mind in a few mins -- foreign to me! And, my memory has improved so I'm not driving my wife nuts. And as a side-effect, my tourettes has calmed down. I reached the end of my treatments and the price was SO worth it!! The techs were great with personal direction (changing treatments slightly if needed) and, so far, the changes seem to be long-term (Bonak confirmed that this should be the case). I'm now a HUGE neurofeedback fan!

Baby Maddness

Zoe Bonack has disappointed me twice now. I was referred to her so my oldest daughter could be tested for ADHD and help me get some help for her. At our intake appointment I brought all 3 of my children because I don’t have a sitter nor do I have family to help with watching my children. Bonack seemed irritated that my 2 year old daughter was all over the place. I was up and down trying to keep her out of things while still talking about the issues that are going on with my oldest. I just ignored Bonack’s attitude and rolled it off my shoulders, I just wanted the test for my daughter. Got a call about coming in for the results of the test. My daughter being 2 years old got a little fussy but wasn’t to bad, I’ve seen her act worse. Bonack made the comment that she will be more clear about no children coming to appointments next time and didn’t finish giving the results. I guess Bonack can’t talk while a mother is moving around with her children trying to keep them out of things. My son just started crawling so he wanted to get into things as well. I will not have a woman act like I’m a bad mother or that my children are horrible. Parent shaming is never ok and my children were acting like children. I will try to find someone else to do testing and give results instead of Zoe Bonack.

**For privacy reasons, "client" is used rather than names. Dr. Bonack was excellent at explaining in detail the incredibly complex initial evaluation results. Throughout the evaluation & treatment process, she patiently answered many questions both in person as well as via email. She reviewed the specific areas of the brain and how their function at the time of evaluation would be influencing the client's emotions, behaviors and cognitive processing in any given situation. Positive changes started and continued from day #1 of treatment (approx 10 months ago). We see a state of calm and groundedness that was not present before receiving treatment. We see a content person looking forward to the future with interest, excitement & hope; it seems as if a heavy weight that had been there for years is now gone. Like any process, there have been occasional setbacks (an old pattern showing up such as confrontational reaction during conflict conversation, anxiety or episodes of depression). When a “flare up” has occurred, it’s NEVER approached the frequency, intensity or quality of the pre-treatment episodes. Thank you Dr. Bonack & Neuro Hope staff from the bottom of our hearts! What the client says: "The people there are all really nice and really helpful. The treatment helped with (managing) stress & sleep. I feel the ‘spin up’ less & I can focus better. It DEFINITELY helped with depression. Yes, it helped with anxiety too but less so, but I also think other stresses are involved with that.”

I started bringing my five children to Dr. Zoe Bonack @ NeuroHopePsych shortly after learning about Neurofeedback. I did my research and found Dr. Zoe was the best fit for addressing the varying needs of my kids. After meeting with Dr. Zoe and getting into a routine with her treatment plan, I have to say I’m impressed beyond expectation! I began seeing Dr. Bonack after struggling through health issues for 2 years. She was recommended to me by a friend who was also helped by her. I received neurofeedback and psychotherapy treatments which were incredibly helpful in my process to recover from the emotional stress and trauma of what I had been through. I was at a low point when I decided to seek treatment. I remember after my first neurofeedback appointment I was able to smile and laugh for the first time in months. Dr. Bonack is very skilled at what she does and she was an integral part of my recovery process. I highly recommend her for both neurofeedback and psychotherapy.

Dr Zoey and her team are absolutely amazing. I came in the summer of 2018 with severe concussion symptoms. Zoe was able to give me a scientific diagnosis of why my brain was not producing the correct waves that brought peace and calm. My brain was overworking and she could tell in each area where. She was been able to design a process using neuro feedback two re-train my brain to produce the correct waves to get me back to myself. It was so encouraging to find someone who knew what they were talking about had scientific events and a process to bring my mind and my physical brain back to health. I'm very grateful.

Dr. Bonack is one of a kind. I have PTSD and had run into challenges both physically and emotionally many years prior to finding Dr. Bonack. I saw several Drs that worked in this field and used similar approaches to treat PTSD. Dr. Bonack was the most approachable and understanding of any of the Drs that I visited. Not only was she a great communicator but she was the most knowledgeable of all the practitioners I saw and was extremely effective in her approach to treatment of a myriad of symptoms. She uses leading technologies and practices in an integrated approach that is impossible to find anywhere else. Her integrated approach using psychotherapy, nerurofeedback, low level laser treatment, brain mapping, and eeg had me feeling better than ever before after completing the recommended treatment plan. It is now nearly two years later and I am still in shock at the sustained improvement and function. I have referred numerous people to Dr. Bonack. My son, who does not have PTSD but needed help in focusing and attention at school, was guided by Dr. Bonack to use a home-approved treatment. In less than a week his teacher called my wife and I from school asking what we had changed, where we had found a solution, etc. She wanted to refer several of his peers' parents to the same solution we were fortunate to have found. Having looked for help for years I will be forever grateful for the advice, treatment, and professional friendship I found at Neuro Hope Psychotherapy and Neurofeedback. Dr. Bonack is very warm and caring. She takes real pride in the work that she does. My daughter has a Neurocognitive disorder that Dr. Bonack diagnosed, after we had gone down many different avenues to get some answers. Out of all of the doctors and testing we had done for our daughter, Dr. Bonack gave us the starting point we’ve been looking for. It was one of my best decisions to begin Neurofeedback treatment through Nero Hope. Dr. Bonack is personable, kind, and truly wants to help people. She explained what neurofeedback is very clearly and showed my specific treatment plan to me before I started any treatment.
