Life seemed to be picture perfect, or so it seemed. All of a sudden things started falling a part and I was falling a part. Deep down, I knew why (past trauma), but always felt like I could handle it myself. I had a lot of the insight and information already, but I didn't know what to do with it, or how to address it. Desperate to rid myself of the pain that was starting to affect my marriage, my work, and my life, I knew I had to go to an expert. But if I was going to do it, I wanted to go to the best. We researched therapists until we thought we had found the best fit, and we were right! It was the best decision we've ever made (my husband and I). We did not go into therapy expecting immediate results as I knew that an entire life of internalizing would not be undone in just weeks. So we went in with open minds knowing it was a long-term commitment. Camille was so strategic and professional about how to overcome the past, deal with the current, and advise about the future. I (we) listened to everything she said and took all advice as we wanted results. No matter how tough things got, I kept my faith in her and continued forward. I am now a completely different person, my marriage is the best it's ever been, my relationships are better, my career is better, and things are now as I always envisioned they should be. I (we) still continue on our path to recovery with Camille to ensure we are doing what we need to do to create the best possible lives for both us, and for our children. Thank you for everything you've done for us, Camille!

I paid $155 for the initial appointment that I had to schedule over a month out. I was in a very bad place and needed to see a therapist as soon as possible, but Camille was nearby and had good reviews so I decided to wait. When the time for my appointment finally came I went and filled out all the paperwork and answered her introductory questions. We were unable to finish all the introductory work and she informed me that we would finish during the next session. When we went to schedule the next session she informed me that she had one date and time in a week’s time from that appointment (that I was unable to make) and if not that date and time, she wouldn’t be able to see me again for another month. I tried to be as flexible as possible, I could have seen her at many other times within the next month, just not that one particular time she offered me. I have a life and can’t just drop what I’m doing to go see a very expensive therapist. If she was so busy that she couldn’t see me more than once a month she should not be taking new patients or she should have at least informed me of this before I spent nearly $200 to fill out paperwork and share a ton of personal information with someone who couldn’t even find the time to help me. I have since found a therapist who is much more amicable and devotes her time to just a few clients at once so there are no scheduling issues and I don’t feel like just another source of income for her. I’m also very disappointed that I can’t get that money reimbursed by my insurance because she would not submit a claim unless I went back for more sessions and she was able to make a “formal diagnosis”. Even though I am already formally diagnosed by a medical doctor. I am sure she makes a very good life coach for the rich people she actually makes time for. If you are a young, middle class, working individual, find someone else.

We want to thank Camille for being the most integral part in saving our marriage. Although we were skeptical about the counseling process, she used proven research and techniques to help us understand our negative cycles, how they feed off of each other, how to cope with them and prevent them from pulling us apart. She helped us understand how to forgive and ask for forgiveness. She showed us how to look at things from a logical and objective perspective versus letting emotions control our decisions. Camille is a great listener who has the ability to diagnose the situation in order to facilitate healing. She has been wonderful to work with and we can't thank her enough.

You are positively unbelievable, Camille, how you figured out my situation and categorized it for me in order for me to understand and implement. You said, “If I put in the work, I would see results!” And results I saw for sure! It was a very positive experience coming in to see you! Thank you for making my life so much better!

When I sought Camille out, I was in a very shady place with my husband. We had endured an extremely hard year together after I had shattered my tibia bone in my leg, and couldn't be the mom and wife I once was before my injury. We were very much struggling + needed help. We both had never sought out professional help from any therapist, ever, and when we found Camille we were pretty desperate for any tools to help us fix what had been broken between us. Not only had Camille taught us so much about our relationship and how to navigate through the good, the bad, the ugly, but she has also taught us so much about ourselves, individually. We plan on having her in our lives as a resource, as well as an amazing source of advice and information for as long as we may need her. We can't thank you enough Camille for your dedication to us as your patients and for teaching us how to get through the hard stuff in life.

I wish I went with my gut about this therapist before being charged $135 to fill out paperwork. In my original conversation with Camille she said we would discuss hourly fees at my first "session." On the site I found her it said her fees would be $60-$80 with a sliding scale. She told me the first appointment would cost ($135) for an hour and a half. This would be 30 mins of paperwork and a 60 minute session. I figured that would make sense at $80/hr with it being an hour and a half. She was very spacey with scheduling an appointment on the phone and that's why I originally said I wish I went with my gut. I showed up to my appointment and finished the paperwork in 10 mins but waited the full 30 minutes she allotted for this. When I went in to my "session" Camille continued to go over my paperwork. She had questions on her forms which seemed unnecessary. What is my nationality? I have no idea what that has to do with receiving therapy. At this time she told me her fees were $145 a session (much different than the original $60-$80 she had been quoted on a therapy site). At this time there was no reason for me to go forward with our "session." The reason I keep quoting session is because that's what she called it on the phone and so when I hear a therapist say session, they are talking about a therapy session- time spent working on your therapy, not going over paperwork. Camille, unfortunately, is very unprofessional in the business aspect of this. She continued talking about her credentials but honestly I don't care how much school you've completed if you don't have social skills. There are too many other skilled therapists in Denver than to waste your time with this one.
