One of the most useless therapy sessions I've ever had the misfortune to have. After speaking on the phone, and then filling out a very thorough evaluation form, Dr. Diamond spent the entire session asking virtually the same questions as on the form -- which consisted of the MOST basic, "Psych. 101" questions imaginable. He completely ignored the fact that I'd had years of previous therapy, was psychologically aware and well-versed, and insisted on treating me as if I were completely unfamiliar with the therapeutic process. Every time I tried to steer him away from the same, basic questions (which he could have ascertained from a quick glance at the questionnaire), he quickly resumed his simplistic line of questioning. It was almost as if he was on auto-pilot. It would have been comical, had I not paid $275 for the "privilege" of meeting with him. A complete waste of time and money.
