After reading some of the prior posts, I have to assume that they´re probably padding their reviews by writing their own posts. This place is the worst. My appointment with Dr. Fein actually lasted a total of 30 minutes out of the hour I was scheduled. I basically sat there talking with almost no or minimal response from the "dr". While talking noticed that she would periodically look at her watch and make sure I got exactly the amont of time my insurance paid for and nothing else. God forbid it would go a few minutes over. She then proceeded to give me some vague recomendations and insisted in another appointement to milk the insurance for another pointless session. I ended up finding a counselor for a much cheaper price who actually cared. This poor excuse for a human being isn´t even a real doctor and went to some hole in the wall osteopathic school that any idiot could get into. Basically, the rejects from medical school. A real despicable human being. You´ve been warned!

My experience at Playa Vista Mental Health has been very positive. It is easy to take mental health for granted and overlook the importance of professional help, but the people who run this establishment have helped me in more ways than I thought possible. Dr. Fein recently prescribed me a drug called Paroxetine, which has done more for my anxiety than any drug before it. I also had a medical issue unrelated to psychiatry, and Dr. Fein was quick to refer me to a doctor who was able to help me with said issue. This place may be a bit more expensive than average, and is not covered by most insurance, but I believe the prices here are definitely justified. The staff is very well trained and understanding. Not to mention, it is in a very convenient location.
