Where do all of these fake reviews come from? Have you noticed that NOWHERE on the entire internet do people rate "Dr. Steinberg" with anything other than a 5 or a 1? How can that be? This guy is such a joke and a complete fraud. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this scam. I was a "patient" of "Dr. Steinberg" as a child. Everytime I see him on KRON news in the morning advertising his services I cringe and want to throw something at the TV. My parents easily wasted 5-figures on this sham "doctor" and his scheme. Tell me if you've heard this one before- he calls you into his "office" which is essentially a big play room with all kinds of toys and games, and tells you to do whatever you please for about 30 minutes. Then he comes back, does a little picture comparison, and writes you up this big diagnosis that you have ADD and recommends "EGG Biofeedback" treatment be started immediately. You show up, get sat down in a dental-style chair by an assistant (the patient doesn't see "Dr. Steinberg" again, until another semi-annual checkup). The assistant attaches two wires to your head. Then you stare at a computer screen for 30 minutes while some game is "automatically controlled" by your brain concentrating and your scores slowly increase, and the staff tells you how great of a job you're doing and what progress you're making every time. How do I know it's a scam? I was a pretty intuitive little kid, and at about 10 years old figured out it's complete garbage. I used to use my visits to "Dr. Steinbergs office" as nap time, no joke. I would fall asleep in the chair (they dim the lights in the room for you to "concentrate") yet my scores would just keep going higher and higher. I would even admit to my parents that I was just sleeping through these visits twice a week, yet they insisted I stick with it for over a year because Dr. Mark Steinberg and his staff would tell me I am making great progress.

Dr. Steinberg helped our teenage daughter with her depression, focus and concentration.. The therapy sessions helped her a lot, and the doctor and his staff we're very professional and helpful. Yes, the price of the sessions was steep. But I could not fathom the idea of my daughter taking psychiatric medicines to help her. We went to psychologist and psychiatrists that recommended drugs to my girl . I was deeply afraid that her mind would be altered or dependent by chemicals. Today my daughter is in college and progressing naturally and excelling in her studies. She is an encylopedia of information and has a bright smile. I thank you Dr. Steinberg for helping us from the bottom of our hearts. P.S. I just happened to be reading the negative comments and wanted to have an actual honest response.

I've been suffering from anxiety and depression for years and after trying all avenues (and not having much more than temporary relief) I decided to try neurofeedback with Dr. Steinberg. I've only had two sessions, but following each session I felt VERY relaxed and calm. When I got home after the first session, I noticed that things that would have normally bothered me didn't. I see Dr. Steinberg and his associates to treat my PTSD and ADHD. My friends that are therapists and my former therapist raved about Neurofeedback and Dr. Steinberg’s practice. Unlike my prior ADHD/PTSD treatment that included use of medications, Neurofeedback uses the body/brain to heal itself. I always feel better after the sessions. Although, it takes a while for the brain to retrain itself to consistently correct wave activity, I prefer the treatment to the side-effects of long term med use. I find Dr. Mark Steinberg and his clinic deliver truly exceptional results. Dr. Steinberg is very generous and fair, offering very unique and precise coaching tips. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in the area of neuroscience. The clinic is one of few places that offer neurofeedback - direct training of brain function, by which the brain learns to function more efficiently. My own experience with it has been fantastic. I had significant problems in many areas of my life and I was able to turn most of that around with the help of routine neurofeedback as well as Dr. Steinberg's really good advice that he gave me on numerous occasions. I highly recommend you check out this clinic as it can help you in so many areas including learning disabilities, behavior problems, focus & attention, depression, family relations, addictions and so much more. It is a really good alternative to medications, which is what most other mental health professionals recommend.

Although each visit is the same it feels as if i were gradually returning to my former self which is remarkable. I began noticing a couple of months into the treatment that i have stopped losing things and ending up in tears over it. When i do misplace things i am able to recall the last time i had it, retrace my steps and find it. I feel generally more calm and optimistic in my ability to cope. I no longer have a compulsion to rescue people from their self created hardships. I can focus on what needs to be done in my own life.

My son has always thought food would make him sick. After 10 minutes of V.T., he said vanilla pudding does not sound yucky at all. Amazing! With regards to school, he was on the rate to be held back in Kindergarten. The teacher called 2 days ago and he is doing great. He went from not knowing 23 out of 26 sounds to only not knowing 3 letter sounds. Has been excused from a separate learning time because he is now on track!

He is a scam! in grade school I used to have this Doctor because apparently he tested me out and claimed that I was diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and that I should come back and my mother would have to pay a lot of money just to visit him. The sessions were just some Hocus Pocus and all the employees would do is attach wires to your head and let me sit and watch television or play some game for 30 mins to an hour. Then the employees would tell me that I did excellent work after each session and tell my mother that. I would beg my mother to not let me go back and that she is wasting money and maybe there is another way to treat my ADD/ADHD condition. But since my mother never believed me, she just blew her money. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!

The staff take me in right away, if not early. They are never late. The rooms and chairs are very comfortable. The biofeedback is helping me. Less triggers for anxiety between sessions. Appropriate interaction/ questions are asked to track my anxiety. Focus more on getting done what I have to get done between sessions.

If you want to unburden yourself from issues that have been negatively affecting your life, you need to see him. My first appointment was in person and then I booked phone sessions for additional issues (the phone option is super convenient and just as effective). During the sessions, he guided me to tap on specific parts of my hand and face in a specific sequence to curb my feelings of anxiety and procrastination. As soon as the session was over, I no longer had the negative feelings that would be triggered by certain situations. His work has made a big change in my life and I'm truly thankful for his help. Pre-Pay for treatment? I should have realized when I was told I had to pre-pay for my treatments that he was a scammer. Several years ago I was referred to Dr. Steinberg for a chronic problem of being late to work. I needed to keep my job so I paid over $3,000 Then he told me that I did NOT have ADD/ADHD or any other diagnosis that he could treat. Insurance did not cover his "treatment". Every time I see his commercial I get so angry, even after all these years.
