I went to Dr. Lee about six years ago to help repair my marriage. I was hysterical on some level as I had been traumatized by my husband who I believed had been cheating on me although he denied it. I wasn’t able to articulate the cruelty that my then husband bestowed upon me behind closed doors, but he sure put on a show for Dr. Lee as highly composed. Back then Dr. Lee told me this man was a loyal husband. How could he be so sure? Well, we stayed together only for me to discover that my now soon to be ex is a serial cheater and my suspicions were accurate and what I had been suffering from was narcissistic abuse. To Dr. Lee’s credit, I had no ability to articulate what was happening to me and I was overwhelmed with shock and it made me look like the difficult one. However, a message to him that personality disorders are a very real thing and don’t be quick to assume that the seemingly calm individual is the innocent one. I educated myself and finally was able to speak up and I had a counselor finally recognize my ex’s manipulative ways.

Amazing! Lee Embrey is very talented in his profession. Counseling is his Calling. He is perceptive, adaptable, and hopeful. He is brilliant, practical, kind and ethical. He can zero in on problems in a way that both partners learn from the experience and best of all, he has common sense. My husband and I were on different planets. It took some time in therapy ( 25 years of marriage crap to unravel) but now we resumed having a loving relationship and my husband is my best friend ! While the ultimate resolution to our marriage difficulties turned out to be a spiritual solution, Dr Embrey held us together until that point. "Results may vary" but if you are interested in changing your life, this is a good place to start. RUN, don't walk to your nearest phone and make an appointment. COST: cheaper than a divorce. RESULTS: priceless.
