Our experience at Life's Journey Counseling Center has been exemplified by kindness and attentiveness. Our therapist encourages us to look at our hangups and solve our problems in ways that work for us, as a couple. They are open to feedback about what works well or not as well. They are both fair and realistic, recognizing that they can only be as committed to us as we are, while remaining invested in our outcomes. We also feel as though we are held accountable, again in a fair and impartial way. Life's Journey has always been incredibly accommodating in terms of scheduling or rescheduling. If you are willing to put in the work, this is the place for you. We are happy to drive from Pittsburgh each session, and if you know route 28, you know that’s saying something.

Absolutely the worst. Attempted couples counseling and refused to bc we yell and call names when we get angry. What kind of couples that need therapy don’t do that???? Absolutely ridiculous.

I've gone to this clinic for over 4 years and have seen multiple providers there. I agree with the other reviews that the admin/office side of the clinic is disorganized and largely unprofessional. But unfortunately it became obvious to me that the clinic, including the executive leadership, does not prioritize or support patient health. For example, in all 4 years of going, I missed two visits - one due to a family emergency and the most recent due to the flu. Both times I notified the office in advance of the appointment and tried to cancel/reschedule the appointment but was still charged a fee (due to not giving enough advanced notice of these emergency situations). Even with this last and final time, the office, including executive leadership, refused to accept the doctor's note I provided in support of having the flu and still charged me. While their mission is to support students, their practices are more indicative of their values.

Very positive experience with Life’s Journey Counseling. Would highly recommend going there. They are kind, caring, and supportive. They have helped improve the quality of my life.
