Haven’t had the sleep study done yet.... just the consultation. Only complaint I have is that they told me over the phone that the consultation was going to be $100 and then when I got there it turned out the follow-up is $95 and the consultation is $185. I have Aetna and Aetna told me the nurse practitioner I saw isn’t in their network but the clinic itself is. I’m just hoping that they when they bill it gets billed in network since the receptionist kept assuring me they are in network.

The technician was very friendly and they got me hooked up right away and I do appreciate that but I did not realize how difficult it would be to get in a somewhat normal sleep position and they woke me up very quickly after I fell asleep and told me I needed to put on some masks it was very difficult to test masks when you're startled and woken up the masks I just feel that they should have planned the time to wake me up instead of it being a random thing and explain that to me were very difficult to deal with and brought me a lot of anxiety it's not anyone's fault I guess but I think I need a different solution to my apneas

The people there were not quite sure why I was there and the explanation of what they understood made no sense. This was the 3 or 4 sleep study I have been in and I don't remember having to go through what I did this time. I had to be there at 8:30 but it was 10:00 until I got hooked up and then I got told I had to go two hours before they could see if I qualified for a CPAP...I already use a CPAP. So it was midnight till I was able to use a CPAP and was woken up at 5:15AM, which that wake up time is normal. I must say the facility was very nice, the room exceeded a lot of hotel rooms and the bathrooms were beautiful.

Dr. Martinez is the best. I’ve coming to Valley Sleep Center for over 15 years. She isn’t just concerned about putting you on meds and then coming in for follow up visits and just telling her how you are doing on them. This is only one of the question’s she’s concerned about. I know she isn’t a therapist, but that she genuinely cares about you! How are you sleeping? Do you feel energized and alert, when waking? How’s your appetite? The next set have to do you, as a person. How are things going, in your home life? Your relationship area of your life? Professional life? How do you feel about you? This set of questions have to basically be answered on an anxiety scale, feeling good or bad about different aspects of your life scale, and then you as a person (your sleep patterns, your feelings about you, your day to day activities, your life as a mother/father, boy/girl friend, husband/wife, employee/employer). If you are having issues, she let’s you tell her specific details and some ideas of what you can do, especially when you’re not doing well in one of the personal life details! How awesome! Someone “normal” that can give you some insight into how you can deal with them in a good way/or bad way (hopefully the later isn’t the problem). Dr. Martinez, “Thank for being the best doctor, caring about every aspect of my life, keeping involved with me (asking me how a situation changed since your last visit). Making me feel comfortable and relaxed at my appointments and I know that I can discuss anything with you and your truly concerned! AND lastly for being my best friend and never judging me! I love you!”

People are nice but have no idea on what they are doing, zero follow up and to be honest nice does not solve any of my problems. Dr. Martinez is nice and seems quite knowledgeable. The sleep study rooms are nice, mine had an adjustable need. Private bathroom, nice and clean. The front staff does not understand "urgent" nor do they understand "stat". Dr Martinez was clear in her orders but that does not mean anything to the rest. The staff is quick to offer empathetic apologies that don't resolve issues.

Very pleased with all aspects. The actual sleep study was done in a nice and comfortable room with friendly and kind staff. Doctor Martinez who reviewed the information was kind, and took the time to educate me on the numbers from reports and goals that needed to be met. Also, there is follow up to make sure you are meeting those goals. Lastly, the office staff is great, efficient and responsive and having the patient portal online allows the patient to take charge over ones own health too. Compared to my last sleep study done by another company who simply wrote a prescription for a machine with zero follow up, Valley Sleep Center is a world apart.

You only see a nurse practitioner . Staff is not very friendly. Report to your physician is signed by a doctor you hsve not seen. Not who you saw. Billed under a doctor no the person you seen. Billing statements come with no phone number, are not accurate so be careful, i match ststement to explanation of benefits from insurance payment to there billing statements. Before i would pay there so call balance.

Staff was extremely nice, very polite. The comfort level, however, was somewhat questionable. Pillows are super uncomfortable, so bring your own. When AC was on, it was very cold, and when it's off, the air smell was very weird. I could not sleep for the most part of the night, and when I finally fell asleep, the quality of sleep was awful, so not sure how one can give medical recommendations on conditions like that.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a medical facility. The front staff were nice people and had their hands tied. My nurse practitioner told me that they work with Lincare to set up my CPAP machine and provide the CPAP hose and breathing masks. The nurse told me Lincare would be getting ahold of me the next day. Well the next day came and went without any communication. On Friday I called Lincare because the people at Valley Sleep Clinic couldn’t seem to get my order over to Lincare to process. My question to them was why as a consumer am I paying for a service to then do their work? Well, I called Lincare and they didn’t have all the information from Valley Sleep Center and were unable to have my order processed. I then had to manage the situation by calling Valley Sleep Center back to inform them of needed forms they didn’t send. This went on and on and after awhile I became frustrated. I asked to be called back for updates but no one ever did as they promised to do. A manager wouldn’t even call me back. It’s been over 1 week now and no one has reached out to help me regarding my medical condition failing to provide me with medical help. This place is a complete disaster and if you like managing your health care this place is for you because most of the employees at Valley Sleep Center or Lincare don’t have a clue or could care less. I am doing what is necessary to make a formal complaint regarding the 2 health care facilities. This is not the type of service people expect when you are charged for services. This is the first review I have ever done and Valley Sleep Center and Lincare need to be avoided!

They made the sleep study as pleasant as humanly possible. I had a private room similar to a hotel room with a tv and comfortable bed along with a private bathroom. You can even take a shower if you like. I was made to feel comfortable immediately by the tech (Antonio) and he eased my fears upon arrival. I couldn’t believe it when he woke me in the morning and it was time to go home. My initial meeting with Samantha (PA) was very informative and she answered all my questions without any hesitation. Dr Martinez gave me my results and she couldn’t be kinder or more personable as well as knowledgeable.

Our techs were very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The study was for my 5 year old daughter and the techs treated her kindly and gently. My daughter was super nervous, and I suggested to the techs to have some.oyher options for distracting her or making the experience less intimidating. Maybe some toys to distract her, maybe they could show her a picture or an example of what she will be wearing, maybe a nice reward for the kid to look forward to. When it came time to get a C-pap machine they made sure my mask fit perfectly and the respiratory therapist showed me how to use the machine and took time to answer my questions. The technician who attached all of the various wires, etc. that send electronic messages to the office station was a professional guy that I had previously at the Valley Sleep Center and as before he performed in a professional manner and was done in a reasonably brief time. Just completed a sleep study last night, and found it a lot more enjoyable of an experience than I was expecting. It felt more like a hotel room, it was very clean, and complete with your own bathroom and tv. My technician was Antonio, and he definitely made the experience as great as it was. His top priority was my comfort, and made sure I was very well informed about everything he was doing, and why he was doing it. Yeah there are about 20 wires coming off your body (mostly your head), and a couple straps around your chest.. but honestly, it was less uncomfortable than it sounds, and they do very well in making sure you're as comfortable as possible. I would recommend these guys to anyone, and if I ever need this kind of thing again, I know exactly where to go!

If you are having sleep issues and decided enough is enough don't hesitate booking a consultation at Valley Sleep Center. From start to finish my experience with the practice has been excellent and I am finally getting quality restorative sleep again. The NP that is treating me is wonderful and the whole process has been seamless, I've had no issues with insurance or scheduling, and they are very transparent as to cost and what to expect. Just to give a time frame of my results I had my first appointment on May 18th, a home sleep test on May 25th, received my diagnosis on June 8th, picked up my CPAP equipment on June 18th and started using it right away, and have my final follow up August 3rd. I was super reluctant to have to use CPAP but honestly it's really not bad and got used to it fairly quick. It is now August 2nd and with continued CPAP use I am finally feeling like a "normal person" again. I have so much energy now I am actually going to clean out my garage today, if that doesn't say something about my results I don't know what does! To the garage I go!!! ;-)

This was my second sleep study, first one at a different facility no issues. The staff were very nice however it’s hard enough to fall asleep in a strange place with a bunch of equipment attached to you when you have bad insomnia in the first place. But in my case I couldn’t fall asleep until 11:30 and then was woken up half a dozen times by people moving furniture, using the bathroom, and opening and closing drawers in the very early morning. Then after sleeping only a few hours I was woken up at 5:30am to leave the study. With my busy schedule and children I had to do a week day appointment. So this meant I was completely exhausted for work the next day and probably had an inaccurate study because of the amount of times I was awoken. At a sleep facility you would expect some sort of sound insulation in the walls(you can hear every little thing) and employees that know silence is key and that people are try to sleep.

We had an appointment for sleep apnea to this place and instead of a physician, a nurse practitioner saw us. That was very bad as I asked for the doctor appointment over phone. She just kept on talking/marketing about getting a sleep "desire" device even after telling her I don't want any device in my body but she kept going on and also asked to go for sleep study - I already had it done and I don't need it but she was asking so that she can file for that desire device. I have a sever SA and she even told the device was not good for sa over 45, nobody has checked it and still kept talking about it. I told her our uncle just died coz of SA and I'm looking for alternatives to CPAP, not a device in my body, like what surgery or what doc to go for and other recommendations. She just said insensitivity, yeah many people died coz of this and you should get this desire device for it - again marketing. I didn't get any of my questions answered. I was so disappointed and left. I received a bill that says Physician as Type of service and that is wrong too. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go to this place as it feels like a a device marketing insensitive place rather than a patient caring place who works for the benefit of a patient and in guiding them to get the best result.

When it came to the sleep study, it was fine and went smooth but when it came down to scheduling the 2nd sleep study THEY ordered, 4 different people gave me different answers and still haven't been able to figure out what's going on with my case. They're a bunch of idiots. I need this sleep study asap so I can get my tonsils removed but they honestly don't care about their patients anyway.

The office is nice and the doctors and nurses are all respectful, but I was not very impressed with this location. They did a sleep study, which I did at home and found I didn’t have sleep apnea. That was good news, but I was still always tired and they gave me no future steps or any help and basically concluded the appointment and sent me on my way. I’m still exhausted and not sleeping well and feel like I wasted my time here.

This company is a scam.. So First thing they do is schedule you an appointment you get there thinking it's for a consultation. But then they tell you it's just a "meet the doctor appointment." This is a scam so they can charge your insurance for nothing.. Then the next appointment they say, "oh yeah you need a thousand dollar sleep study." Hmm really? Yeah that's why I came here, we could have figured that out without 2 doctors visits and 100 in copays.. Then after waiting a month for a preauth, which isn't there fault. Yet another insurance company scam. So they can get out of paying any way possible.. Then, after I do the $1000 dollar sleep study. I again have to go in, yet another 50 dollar copay, and another charge to my insurance. This is number 4 now I think, idk I've lost count.. They now tell me I need another $1000 sleep study bc they didnt get enough from the first one.. At this point I'm done I say no more I just want to get fitted with a Cpap system. So they refer me to preferred homecare. Hands down an even bigger scammer than VSC they lied to me about coverage on my cpap machine. After yet another month long wait for a preauth. I was told the machine was 100% covered I would pay NOTHING OUT OF POCKET.. I explicitly stressed the fact that I wasnt in a financial place to be able to pay for a 1500 dollar machine.. Well after getting the machine, and basically being held hostage by VSC saying if I didnt come in every couple of weeks to make sure i was wearing the machine every night and to constantly change the settings to make sure the pressure were right. Since I was unable to keep up with their rigorous schedule and constant copays. They essentially marked me down as noncompliance. To which I got a 1500 dollar charge that was eventually sent to collections bc I A, had no idea this was being sent to collections until after it had happened and B, never got anything in the mail prior to the collection notice.. So my suggestion would be to run as far away from this company. They are very nice but there underlying practices and subcontractors that they send you to are very deceiving and are only concerned with getting as much money as possible..

There paperwork online system is absolutely the worst headache I have ever used. Says 20-30 minutes time to complete, it wouldn't let me enter my Walmart Pharmacy said didn't exist, wouldn't let me enter drug allergies, kept rejecting penicillin, said not found, took more than 30 minutes and two phone calls to get past that page. The next portion even worse on prescription drugs. Couldn't get past first drug. They want who and what doctor and why you are taking. After you get this all in it won't let you move to next drug. They do anything to try and help so you won't cancel your appointment. I had a sleep study here about 10 years ago and had a good experience but now I don't know what happened to how they assist clients. Also couldn't get a clear answer on my copay amount. From other reviews I have seen I guess they now only care about the money. Online paperwork should make your life easier not make you need to take blood pressure medication.

I don't at this point know what part, if any, that RTA playing in the big delay, but my understanding at this point is that you did not provide RTA the proper information on a timely manner. I did the sleep study on 03/07/18 and am still waiting.

I would and have recommended Valley Sleep Center and Therapy to my family. From your first assessment appointment to the actual stay over sleep study. Also the appointment with Valley Sleep Therapy (both affiliated) was great. I was treated with dignity and respect by all employees I interacted with. If you think you have a sleep issue go to Valley Sleep Center and they will give you an honest evaluation and get you to living a better life.

Clean, quiet, and professional. The staff was very friendly. They answered any questions I had and more. The only trouble I had was finding the sign on the outside of the building. Coming in at night the rest of the complex is super dark and the sign for the sleep center is not visible from the street. Once I found the correct part of the complex it was fine. That area of the parking lot was well lit and the entrance to the building was welcoming.

I chose this place because it took Medicaid (without money, you aren't really given many options in America). Initially, my review would have been quite bad. The first time I went, I had a sleep study and the technician was new. I woke up feeling like I couldn't breathe and, rather than getting me a mask, she just said "breathe through your mouth". I tried, but as the night went on it got worse, but she did nothing. When I wanted to leave, she told me to "sit there awake" for another 20 minutes because "the doctors want five hours". I ended up having a panic attack and nearly ran out of the building hours early. When I went back for a follow up, I told the doctor what happened and she was very accommodating. She believed me. She made sure I had a different tech during the PAP titration study. Though the sleep study was still very stressful, the technician did everything he could to make it easier on me. He said he "wanted to do better than the last tech"--and he did. He tried four kinds of masks throughout the night, was happy to let me take it off for a little while, and when I said I wanted to go home, he immediately started getting me ready to go without judgment. Expect a month worth of followups before you get your CPAP machine, they are very slow (again, I don't have many options).
