It's really difficult to seek help. Especially when you're dealing with other family members who aren't really willing to do the work to make things better and you're alone in reaching out. You're vulnerable and insecure. So when you take the steps to contact an organization for help and you're answered with "sorry the person you want to see isn't taking patients" it can be a real blow. So you decide to just keep pushing anyway and ask if there is anyone else in the practice they suggest. And then they never answer you, that makes me want to say "why even try". I have never seen any providers here, they may be great, but teach your staff to be sensitive, or at least responsive to people. Especially if you claim to advocate for mental health.
