I LOVE Dr. Turnbow! Yes often you have to wait but when it is YOUR turn she takes as long as YOU need to help YOU with YOUR problem!!! I will continue to wait my turn to see her and while I wait I will know that she is helping someone like me who also needs help!! The world needs to be a nicer place and people need to try to be more understanding of others! If we were maybe everyone would start acting the same way and this world would be a HAPPY PLACE AGAIN!!! I give Dr Turnbow 5 STARS!!! Rachel is also great once you get to know her, she has a lot to deal with too and a lot to balance. Give her a break!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Turnbow for several months - I absolutely love talking with her and would like to continue seeing her, however, I may have to find a new doctor so that I DO NOT have to deal with the rude, disrespectful, unprofessional receptionist (Rachel). The irony of it is that she is working at a MENTAL HEALTH facility and absolutely has NO bedside manner and/or personal communication skills -- she is going to ruin Dr. Turnbow's practice !!

I was a patient of hers a few years ago & always had to wait @ least 30+ minutes to be seen from my appt time. Past few weeks not only has another Dr office been leaving messages, because no one ever answers the phone, but so have I & can't get a returned call.

It has been a nightmare trying to work with this doctor. Her receptionist is the most unprofessional person I've ever attempted to interact with on a professional level. Also, I the "office" you call is actually her cell phone. Right now the answering machine is telling me the office is closed but gives dates from December 2016. I need Dr. Turnbow to send my prescription to the pharmacy and have been calling since Thursday and leaving voice messages. The reason I am without this NECESSARY medication right now is that her office has never sent a refill, which I only discovered when I ran out and needed to pick that refill up. This isn't even the first time this doctor had been entirely unavailable and I am angry with myself for not starting the process to find a different psychiatrist on the day after my first appointment. It just takes so long to get an appointment with any of them and I kept hoping (clearly against my better judgement) that this one would come through for me. Please do not try to make an appointment with this person—it will, at best, set you back in the process of finding help. Please try to find someone else; that's what I've got to do now, but *without* medication that keeps me a sane/healthy/productive person.

This was to be my first appointment and I had completed all the forms and paid an upfront fee prior to the appt. I arrived about 15 minutes early to see someone else in the waiting room. The secretary stated Dr. Turnbow was not there yet and this patient would be seen before me (who had already been waiting 45 minutes). I asked if this was normal and the patient stated they have waited a minimum of 45 minutes on each visit and Turnbow is consistently late. On top of that, while waiting, another patient comes in to pick up a script he had called in a week prior, the lady stated it had not been written yet and did not know why and he could wait until after both of us were seen to get it. Finally the other patient got fed up and walked out, I continued to wait because I had heard the Dr. was in her office now. Well another 45 minutes had passed and I asked if I was going to be seen and was told Turnbow was talking to another employee the whole time I was waiting, it took me asking the receptionist to enter Turnbow's office to see if I would be seen or not. She came out and stated yes she is going to see you....so I waited another 10 minutes (hearing her talking to this "employee") and got up to leave when she opened the door and said "I'm sorry, crazy Monday"... I asked for a refund and left. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME...

I too could never get in to see the dr. She sounds wonderful so I’m really upset about that part but not worth the struggle with the appointment and receptionist. So sad.

I have seen many doctors and I love her. She actually cares and talks to you as others listen and you leave with nothing. I didnt mind if I waited because she was always worth waiting for.
