Only good for specific things- this counseling center is great if you are seeking help for issues such as anxiety, minor depression, self esteem/confidence or homesickness/adjusting to college, wanting to vent...and so on. The counselor was very kind and made me feel supported, providing solutions for the above issues. However, I personally found that it was not very effective at all for issues such as PTSD, and long term/short term trauma. I did not feel very supported in that regard, I felt like they did not have the best resources for these issues. I would recommend seeing a therapist off campus for those kind of "more complex" problems.

Dr. Brock is a fantastic therapist and life coach! He does his research and uses real data to help you understand yourself and deal with whatever your situation is. I've definitely seen a marked improvement on my personal outlook and would recommend him to anyone.
