This place needs to be federally investigated and maybe even shut down. Paperwork may be in order and it may be clean but lift up the carpet and see what you get. Definitely a poor excuse for a place for psychological help. Here take this pill and you'll be fine. No Wyoming needs some real therapist as well as psych technicians. Quit sitting around gabbing with your friends and texting your friends to mention a patients actions. A clear violation of their privacy. Just pathetic!

Can I call this place worse than Guantanamo? ABSOLUTE TORTURE!! I have never met a single person who has gone through WBI and came out better. IN FACT every single person (I’ve had many friends and family that have gone through WBI) were dramatically worse, more depressed, suicidal, anxious, drugged up than when they came in. I 100% support mental health programs and people in the healthcare system and I have never rated a company on here before, but I took the time to rate this place because of how disgusted I am. Absolute scum. Needs to be shut down. It’s a disgrace to our community and shows absolutely no respect. This place already has less than 2 stars. Have people not taken the hint and shut it down!!?? come on!!

Wondering why they deleted a bunch of reviews. Wyoming number one place for your loved ones to go in an emergency. Also come out with new problem upon leaving. Inaccurate medication knowledge. Medication prescribed may have interaction problems but they will tell you they don't. Do your own research because they do not seem to have the ability to do so themselves and instead lie their way through. Not trustworthy. Little to no communication for those who may care for those in their treatment. Seems unknowledgable when you ask questions. have dealt with them several times and wish their were more options for acute care with those who want to see their patients be successful.

Throughout my 6 month stay in the pathways program,8 people sent to the hospital.one of which could have easily been avoided(probably all could have) this one such case a 17 year old was forced to take the highest dose of a potent sleeping pill Remeron. He had a severe allergic reaction and was sent to the hospital.later he came back. While recovering he was put into a hold in which 3 staff pinned him so he couldn't move.the have him a shot in the butt, which the"patients" called "booty juice"this was meant to make the victim pass out.one ingredient in booty juice was remeron. He was one again sent to the hospital after being left with no pulse. Rumors are the kid died. Just one example of many.this just shows how much really matters to them I would not recommend for anybody

Dr Danzig is the worst, Courtney his assistent backs up his unprofessional practices. We signed a release to recieve our records over three months ago when he fired us as customers in front of an intern after 15 plus years of trust and patience seeing him regularly. They tell us twice a week that they are mailing them, but that started three months ago with absolutely nothing still. I can't believe Dr Danzig is still in practice after the way he got away with treating my wife. If you are seaking professional help, nothing is professional here. Please consider going just about anywhere else so this doesn't happen to you! I gave them a one star rating because it was the minimum, it should be zero stars from our experience there.

I put my son here to receive help and treatment. Figuring he would be safe. One he got assault and battery charges brought up on him from a staff member when he was not in the right state of mind. Two he came home with scars on his chin, arms and hip for when they tackled him down, like it was football, then put him in a hold. Another note is that the food there isn't really all that great and kid's refuse to eat it and prefer not to eat. So they are given uncrustables. Then eventually you see or hear about how the kids aren't gaining weight and are losing weight. That's my input and experience of a night mare

I was here one time several years ago. I just couldn't help but post a review. It seems queer how people are still complaining about this place. I mean you'd think that they'd have been shut down years ago for malpractice. One of their doctors was in court twice (federal) for the UCLA scandal and killing his neighbors dog! How unprofessional is that? I could go on forever, but I won't waste my time. Everything I've read in all the negative reviews are truthful. And I bet you no one ever really reads these reviews, probably some computer generated response because they really don't care. I challenge WBI to prove me wrong.

Multiple errors and even falsification of medical records and records release forms. (If only I could post a photograph which clearly demonstrates this allegation). Physicians and so called therapists are egomaniacal frauds. Do NOT send anyone you care about to this little slice of hell run by corruption and greed.

When I went there I was there longer than my family expected and they tackled people down and over medicated all the adolescents and it did not help Wenda Schol is there to scare you and make you afraid for your self and other people in there they don’t let you have a bunch of things and I have anxiety and I sleep with a blanket that calms me down and they said that I cannot have it and I started balling and they had no mercy for me or exceptions until I got in for four days and I still could not have the one that helped me get through a lot I had to get a brand new blanket and it made my nightmare worse they make people in to zombies like that is healthy wenda was a complete waste of my time and so is this place if you want help go to Torrington to sanit joeseph it is a much more enjoyable experience for anyone they actually care about you let alone wbi I hope they get shut down

one star is too much for this place.i went in after attempting suicide due to many things. i had a extremely low self esteem and i hated life. in this"facility" i was shamed for attempting suicide. my case worker, Wenda Scholl, called me egotistical and selfish for my depression. the staff had no respect for anyone and there was no treatment. i got two actual therapy sessions, both of which i had to fight for. this place is a sham and the councilers working here should have their licences taken away.

I don't typically do reviews but I feel compelled to just say that's this place Its horrible over medicated with little to no doctors supervision when placed on a new medication the doses are extremely high I found out I was taking one medication I later found out that I should have never been on with another med I was on it could have been extreamly dangerous or harmful to me like really?! you get paid for this! Also I am certain that after only 10 mins only he should not have placed me on just any medication... no therapy, felt like there wasn't really any help staff are mean and treat you like you are crazy or not a person/ unimportant... terrible place if you go in volenteerly, good luck checking yourself out for a least a little while even I feel that they are money hungry... Not recommended find somewhere else if you actually want help.

W.B.I is a safe place full of genuinely caring and compassionate professionals. From the receptionists all the way up to Doctor Martorano, the staff of wyoming behavioral institute put the wellbeing of the patients first. I would trust my loved ones to the staff of W.B.I over amy other facility.

I'm giving a negative review because every time I've ever called the suicide hotline I've sat on the phone for over 15 minutes. They have a specific code that they announced over the intercom that alerts staff that there is someone on hold for the suicide hotline. Every time it was announced I would ask staff, and every time they replied with the usual "someone else will get it"

Yes this place IS run by money loving grubs that want max money....but this is by far the best option and only option available for our troubled folks here in Casper....The staff is full of loving and caring people but they deal with some very bad situations....so sad to see so many people in pan and hurt needing help and I am thankful at least there were these folks here for me and my family in time of need

To release a person that has talk about killing theirself for a couple years, and just got out of the hospital for a near fatal suicide attempt is beyond my understanding. We are very concerned that our son will try again. I will be writing a letter to the courts stating the facts so they have a record of it!

This place is a joke! Some of the staff that are their are VERY rude to the kids their and when they try and tell another staff member on them they lie threw their teeth! Then the kid gets in trouble for it! I went here several years ago and they did NOTHING to help! All they did was pump me full of medication! Sometimes if a child would have a break down they would give them a tranquilizer shot in their butt, I have seen this happen a few times. Now because of that I have neurological issues with memory! If you tell the staff how you feel they write down a completely something different. The reason I know this is because I requested paper work from them and read it over FALSE INFO! Not only that but they make you strip down and TOUCH your body to "make sure" you didn't bring anything in! I was 11 when my mom threw me away in the trash! How HORRID!! I STILL have nightmares from this place along with Cathedral Home for Children! DONT send your children here! It will SCAR them mentally for the rest of their lives! Please read all the reviews before making your decision!

I've stayed here multiple time. Been robbed by patients. Told I was depressed by a doctor the reason being was I was crying on the phone the single time she walked by me. I was put on so many meds as an adolescent here I was laying in pain for 3 days in my restroom before they sent me to the hospital. Then they gave my mother my therapy file breaking confidentiality. They will load you up with meds and shove you away

All the staff have different rules. They make you feel bad for being there. They don't give you your medications. They diagnose you with things that aren't appropriate after talking to you for five minutes. You hardly ever get to see your counselor. Very poor care given and most of the staff are extremely rude on the unit.

Behind closed doors at wbi.This facility needs to be investigated and probably shut down for falsifying records for their own personal gain and firing and underwriting staff so they won't be exposed In any way.This place also charges a whopping minimum of 2,500 dollars a day per person and at over a hundred beds thats roughly over 250,000 dollars a day from the state and from peoples insurance they also like to hold people that have good insurance wounder why.If you like being locked up,lied to,treated like a child and gamble on being miss diagnosed than this is the place.The head psychiatrist diagnoses most people bipolar and putts most every one on seraquil and changes med dosage erratically without even talking to the patient.If you want real therapeutic help and recovery look else where all this place cares about is getting their money and then passing the buck onto someone else.Most of the staff they have are rude and selfrighteous and don't really want to help or do there jobs and treat people like their crazy.The facility has an on going reputation of over medicating people,giving out the wrong medication to the wrong people and have sent many to the hospital and even some to their deaths.Wyoming behavioral institute portrays and promises help and well being but gives minamal help at its poor excuse for a so called professional facility.

Just because I have multiple experiences with this facility, I think it is best to share my thoughts. This facility, and the staff I worked with over the years, for the most part does not know the first thing about mental heath care. This facility, on the adult side, is often treated more like a substance abuse facility, and makes it hard for people suffering from mental illness alone to seek recovery, when all the groups are focused on substance related issues. Also, one of my most recent stays, I specifically requested anyone other than a certain doctor. I had a history with this doctor, did not like him, and did not want him to be a part of my care. It's difficult to seek any kind of healing when the doctor you're working with is someone you can't trust. They did not believe what I would tell them, and it took several outside parties before they started to understand that what I had been trying to get help with, all those years, was actually what I truly needed help with. Going in voluntarily, this place treats you like you are less then human. Don't clean rooms or bathrooms after people come and go, don't follow diet guidelines for food, DO NOT do individual therapy, RARELY group therapy. This place is simply just a holding tank for people to go to the state hospital. Especially the adult side. I thought I was coming to get help, instead they kept me as long as they could to rack up a hefty bill, change my meds with out even seeing the doctor…. this place is terrible and if you are truly looking for help - this is NOT the place.

This place is run by money hungry crook's! My law enforcement brother in-law told me many stories about how crooked this place was keeping people with insurance for extra time only for $ and kicking people out ASAP without. I went there and when asked about insurance I said no. Was told on day 2 that I'd be out next morning no problem. Then was asked about insurance again I said yes, gave them info, and then day 3 get told no you can't leave we need you to sign a voluntary stay here. I said no and got lucky with the judge and he said to release me. Over 2 yrs later I'm still paying on the almost $5000 bill insurance didn't cover. I did NOT get ONE good thing from this place!!!!! They DO NOT care about helping people ONLY about screwing you out of you hard earned money!!!!!!!!

This place deserves 0 stars. This place needs to shut it's doors forever. the lawyer said he would represent me and he did nothing but talk garbage and the good "doctor" said I was fighting "the good fight" and then slandered my name to everyone in there. Thankfully the patients did not believe him. Wake up people. Stay out of WBI if you can. Avoid it at all "costs." He would not let me seek medical attention. I am finally getting the medical attention that I need after years of being bullied to go there. I had to move to Arizona to get away from this place. Trust me, I'm doing fine.

First off, I just want to say I went here for depression. I am quite sane and I suggest you read this warning. This place was horrifying. Not only were their violent outbreaks among the patients, there was not enough staff to control any of these people. I was constantly afraid. The way the staff treated the patients was appalling. In fact, there was an elderly patient who had memory problems and they locked him in a room. He didn't know what was going on. People were not cared for properly. The wrong medications were given out but the patients were forced to take them. They over-medicated my roommate and never checked on her. She was not breathing and had no pulse when the ambulance took her away. They made me switch rooms They killed her. People who had voluntarily committed themselves for help with drugs/alcohol/depression/eating disorders regretted their decision. The staff made it very difficult for anyone to leave once they were committed. People who had been in prison said this was worse than prison. My psychiatrist barely spoke english and often confused words. She was very cruel and treated me as if I were crazy, as did most of the staff. All the patients told me. "Do whatever they say, act happy, don't seem upset, participate in group, that's the only way you can get out." They even had a doctor employed here who had sexual contact with a patient in the state of Washington. In just the nine HELLISH days I was trapped in this prison, I saw so much malpractice that THEY SHOULD HAVE THEIR ASSES SUED. There was only one kind man there who told me I shouldn't be in this place. Thank GOD for him. He helped me get out. Even if this is your last resort, I would not go here. Find somewhere else, unless you like being treated like a crazy person. I cried myself to sleep every night. And I had nightmares every single night for months after I got out. It was four years ago and I still feel sick when I think about it

Staff was amazing, they gave me a new outlook on life. They've also given hope, good self-esteem, pride, and intelligence on my life. They even bridged a very dark abyss between my parents and myself. Personally they are the best choice me and my parents made!

Behind closed doors at wbi.This facility needs to be investigated and probably shut down for falsifying records for their own personal gain and firing and underwriting staff so they won't be exposed In any way.This place also charges a whopping minimum of 2,500 dollars a day per person and at over a hundred beds thats roughly over 250,000 dollars a day from the state and from peoples insurance they also like to hold people that have good insurance wounder why.If you like being locked up,lied to,treated like a child and gamble on being miss diagnosed than this is the place.The head psychiatrist diagnoses most people bipolar and putts most every one on seraquil and changes med dosage erratically without even talking to the patient.If you want real therapeutic help and recovery look else where all this place cares about is getting their money and then passing the buck onto someone else.Most of the staff they have are rude and selfrighteous and don't really want to help or do there jobs and treat people like their crazy.The facility has an on going reputation of over medicating people,giving out the wrong medication to the wrong people and have sent many to the hospital and even some to their deaths.Wyoming behavioral institute portrays and promises help and well being but gives minamal help at its poor excuse for a so called professional facility.

This place is actually worth MORE than 5 star's to be honest..I mean when you actually feel safe talking to any of the staff about having suicidal thought's,that actually mean's ALOT..I honestly DID NOT want to leave...For the first time in my life I felt safe and secure and could talk to any of the staff...I already miss being there:)

Just because I have multiple experiences with this facility, I think it is best to share my thoughts. This facility, and the staff I worked with over the years, for the most part does not know the first thing about mental heath care. This facility, on the adult side, is often treated more like a substance abuse facility, and makes it hard for people suffering from mental illness alone to seek recovery, when all the groups are focused on substance related issues. Also, one of my most recent stays, I specifically requested anyone other than a certain doctor. I had a history with this doctor, did not like him, and did not want him to be a part of my care. It's difficult to seek any kind of healing when the doctor you're working with is someone you can't trust. They did not believe what I would tell them, and it took several outside parties before they started to understand that what I had been trying to get help with, all those years, was actually what I truly needed help with.
