DESCRIPTION

Here you have all the opinions of real people who bought the services and products of UW Health Psychiatry (Psychiatrist) near to the state of Wisconsin.

To this day the business gets a rating of 1.5 stars over 5 and the score is based on 8 reviews.

You must have seen that its rating is very insufficient, and it's based on an average of feddbacks, so the assessment is quite faithful, although it doesn't have a sufficient number of valuations to provide it total reliability.

Don’t even bother calling here if you have low level issues such as depression or anxiety. New patients are literally told that UW Behavioral Health is experiencing more demand for care than needs they can actually meet. The new patient telephone worker expects people to divulge their issues OVER THE PHONE so that the clinical staff can decide whether the patient is “bad enough” to deserve treatment. Not sure how this is ethical but it certainly is insulting! Shame on you UW Behavioral Health!

Honestly, UW Health is completely unethical. I hadn't seen my Physiatrist in less than a year and they closed my chart without notifying me and now I'm considered a new patient and cannot get an appointment. I'm completely disgusted. This unethical practice needs to be reported in the news so that something changes.

Don’t even waste your time trying to get into this inpatient facility; go somewhere else. You only see a psychiatrist in a large group setting with various other types of doctors who expect you to feel comfortable disclosing all issues to everyone, while they all sit staring at you. A part of my “treatment team” even casually asked, not prompted, what would have been in my suicide note. They constantly asked me what I thought I should do instead of helping me form a plan in my time of need and desperation. There are so few treatment/therapy sessions (all in a group setting) that most of the time patients are sitting in the common area doing nothing, instead of getting the treatments that they need. They are more interested in getting you out of there than treating you. They do not even help set up appointments for when you are discharged. There is lack of professionalism here, from the doctors to the receptionists. The nurses were very sweet and kind, however, but did have much power to help.

Honestly, I'm glad my campus has such great access to such a great service. I was very happy with how quickly and how well they handled my appointment and how clear everything was. Well worth my time.

Words cannot describe... They’ve jeopradized my health. I had a referral from my UW neurologist, UW concussion specialist, and my primary care physician. I could not get in as a ‘new patient’ even though I was experiencing daily seizures. I waited 9 months, so that I could see a Psychiatrist that was experienced clinically or with epilepsy patients. 9 months later and they’re claiming they still cant get me in - because they ‘re-did the system’. What a joke...

Too many patients to see. Very rude receptionists. Horrible.

I have seen several people here and I have never experienced anything even close to professionalism. The receptionists are terrible, the therapists are awkward, and one of my past psychiatrists was consistently at least half an hour late.
