Overbooking is a big problem here. Long waits between sessions unless you get lucky or need special treatment.

Horrible experience! I scheduled an appointment with a doctor I felt comfortable with. Only to have the head supervisor cancel it and turn me away, not once not twice but three times. Oh and I had a referral from a neurologist! I mentioned I had a referral in which I was told I didn’t then said are you seriously turning a mental health patient asking for help away? Then mentioned I was only comfortable with older men to talk to! She then proceeded to schedule me with a female doctor. In which I said I was not comfortable!!! So finally a month after she cancelled my appointment with the original dr. She rescheduled me with him. But at the end of the call she told me my appointment wouldn’t go as I planned. I soon figured what she meant! I was not told he was uncomfortable being alone with me nor that he would have a third party sit in. I discovered this at the appointment. Then I asked to reschedule with another male as the third person and he told me I would be able to, and I can leave if I’m not comfortable. Also if I left they wouldn’t help me at this center again! I find this unacceptable! At the I show up and the head supervisor nurse somehow greased her way into my session. In which I informed the psychiatrist that I was uncomfortable with her being in the session and I was told that he was uncomfortable with her not being there . I never agreed to allow her in or any access to my chart, in which she and he informed me she knew. Also, in the short visit I was basically listening to her not my scheduled psychiatrist. (She did all the talking) Uw health is been great to me! Except a bad apple down here! Not speaking names but I’m sure others can agree with her power trip antics! Btw. It took a lot for me to reach out and ask for help to only have the professionals act unprofessional!

I have been going here for over a year seeing a doctor who specializes in “women”. I feel worse than I did when I originally began coming here. When I told this doctor that I wanted to see someone else, he became upset and his nurse talked to me in a mocking tone. I questioned his decisions regarding my medications and he did not like that.

A huge well organized clinic! This is a great place for health care for children and adults. It's easy to find and has a huge parking lot for patients. Staff is highly professional. The front desk workers are super helpful and help you find where you need to go. It's a good atmosphere and set up.
