Son was diagnosed with the beginning stages of schizophrenia. Doctor prescribed new medication and never followed up. To make matters worse, doctor refused to fill out my FMLA paperwork. Doctor and secretary SCREAMED at me said that I was harassing them by questioning why they would not fill out the paperwork. No logical reason was given

Had a family member put on a drug and the NP never contacted the primary physician with the information. I had to inform the primary. I then contacted them with concerns of side effects and asked why the primary wasn't contacted. I was told that it is the facility's responsibility to inform the primary physician. The family member was taken off the drug and no other drug was suggested. I contacted the primary physician and once again no update that the drug was discontinued. If I hadn't contacted the primary physician, this drug would not have made it into her chart or known that it was discontinued. Unprofessional to say the least.
