I live in Chicago and I always come up every couple of months for follow up appointments with Dr.Chang. She usually asks a few questions and checks on how I'm doing and then fills my prescription. My appointments never take longer than 45 minutes, which also includes arriving early and waiting in the waiting room. I will continue on going to Dr. Chang since she is very nice and her appointments are usually really quick.

Horrible, completely unprofessional. Worst psychiatrist I have ever had. I relocated from MN early 2018 and it took me 4 months to see her. The entire visit I felt like I was being interagated because I couldn't remember in exact detail the names of doctors/years/dates of services/when I started this med or that med and for how long I was receiving treatment in MN. She constantly tried to contradict everything I told her. Extremely rude and unprofessional! I felt like I was just a number. No compassion at all! Don't waste your time with her!

Horrible, completely unprofessional, and unsympathetic and called me a "spoiled brat." I have had one psychiatrist for a decade who was fantastic until he randomly called the police on me after I said I was frustrated and rightly depressed at no answers or solutions due to being sick for 12 years with rare, unsolvable chronic health issues. I tried different psychiatrists and Dr. Chang was unbelievably unprofessional. She told me, someone who has been suffering since age 15 and has no life and has been all around the country to the top ranked hospitals for my condition that I "was a spoiled brat." What kind of person, let alone a medical professional, says something like that to someone who has been through more than 90% of the people in America. I was so mad, I could barely contain myself from going off on her.

Dr Chang has been just wonderful to work with for the last three years. I feel like she really cares about me. She has helped me find the meds which work best for me. She asks the right questions and is a pleasure to meet with.

Best doctor I have ever met. All bad reviews must be due to her not to let the patient be the doctor. She never rushes to medication or self diagnosis, wiki good reading no medical license .

My experience with Dr. Vanessa Chang has been extremely disappointing, I have been seeing her for about 3 years. During that time things declined. To start she has a language barrier, does not understand English, when written. I almost lost my job because of it, she needed to fill out my to paper work and was confused. I could go on, but then I'd write a book. I tried to work with her, but she is unprofessional, rude, and does not care. I am very disappointed. All she does is fill prescriptions, that's it. Don't talk about problems or hurting yourself, that's not what she is there for. Would never recommend her to anyone.
