Robertson himself is wonderful but his nurse practitioner who you get stuck with after being established are not so great.

I went there 7 years and then got drug tested so i walked out but then after called in told them the truth that i had weed in my ststem and if i could come back n pee for them but id have pot in my system n they discharged me n said i couldn't come back and i went thru hell had seizures n everything from being on meds 7 years n getting wacked off cold turkey. The nurse practitioners and the staff are unfriendly and rude.

Dr. Robertson is a fine psychiatrist but, once you are established as a patient, you hardly ever see him at your visits. You are stuck with nurse practitioners who aren't qualified to treat mental illnesses. I was a patient for approximately 5 years and only saw Dr. R three times. I was prescribed medication that, when I did my own research, was highly discouraged for use with my illness and made me suicidal. It got to the point where I was basically treating myself through requests for lower or higher dosages, or suggesting medications I had read about. The nurses just wrote whatever I asked for and never gave any imput as to what they thought would work for me. I am disabled and, during a routine review, it was pointed out that I have more "issues"/diagnosis now than I did when I first became a patient there. The staff are friendly and Dr. Robertson is great, but the nurse practitioners might as well not even be there. More than just not helping- they make things worse.

I have been a patient at this practice for over 5 years. While Dr. Robertson was initially helpful in providing a diagnosis, the staff are deliberately unhelpful in providing support services. Every year when a prior authorization is required for my prescription, the staff refuses to make the call to my insurance carrier in a timely fashion. I have provided the direct call number to staff members, which generally allows the prescription to be authorized almost immediately, yet the staff insists on faxing the authorization, which takes up to 5 business days to process. The phone call takes just a few minutes, less time than filling out a form and sending the fax. Or they don't send out the fax at all. Repeated calls from both myself and the pharmacy seeking the prior authorization are met with stonewalling on the part of Sue in the office. I was even told once that they only do prior authorizations on Thursdays! As I write, I have been waiting 16 days for a prior authorization for my medicine, and I have been without it for 8 days now. Even when I called at 10:00 this morning, I was told I would have to wait until 4:00 p.m. The patients in the office were given priority, even though I have been waiting 16 DAYS!

Disgraceful treatment from one of the receptionist, waited for 2 hours before telling us our appointment needed to be rescheduled. The receptionist apparently does not respect those who need this office at all RESPECT THIS AT ALL.
