Cheat Lake Branch: my wife and I wait in waiting room for 30 mins before someone call us in. Then, inside after vitals and weight were taken, we wait another 30 mins to see Jhon Huber Nurse Practitioner. He did not examine the patient at all. Just prescribed a medication and dispatch us in less than 3 minutes consultation. What a shame how unprofessional and lazy health provider. I do not recommend him as a Provider.

Dr. Marcucci filled out required peia form wrong which increased my deductible $500. Made an appt to discuss this since I need to file a grievance with peia and was sick so also received an exam. Waited 75 min. past appt time. Told I could call in a couple days to get antibiotics phoned in. Called 9:30 a.m. 3 days later, no meds at pharmacy at 2:30. Called Wedgewood 2 x's after 2:30, finally told there are no Dr's notes in my file to indicate antibiotics, and that I need to be seen again. On phone today total holding time 25+ min and two trips to Mgtn. Many years our family have been patients of Wedgewood but it is changing for the worse. Where to go?

Visited with Sharon Titchnell, MS, PA-C today. Follow-up visit today. I highly recommend her. She is very thorough and professional. Also, had blood drawn by Kelly. She was top notch!! I would also recommend Destinee also. She is outstanding.*****

Terrible. Plain and simple. My blood pressure medication needed refilled. Pharmacy called them several times, no response. Finally, after 4 days, I called and was told “Sorry, your doctor is out of the country.” His nurse was supposed to call me back, never did. Guess I just cross my fingers and hope not to stroke out while my doc enjoys his vacation. I will be finding another family doc.

Use extreme caution when visiting this practice — especially when using their lab they force you into. Wedgwood is unbundling labs and profiting off of their fraudulent practices.

They took care of me while I was there, the nurses were very nice to me. However there's something wrong with the way they handle paperwork. I waited for my blood results for a week- I had to receive them in the mail to finally find out because you can't ever get a direct answer over the phone and they never call you back when they say they will (phone tag). It took a week for them to fax forms over to Ruby Memorial so I could get something scheduled. It took me two weeks to get results back from that and claimed I'd know the results of by the end of that day. I appreciate the way I was treated when I was physically there. But something needs to happen with the way they treat you after you leave the building. I'm sick, I need answers, and I don't want to feel like I'm being forgotten about. I'll go to medexpress from now on.

I wanted to share a positive post about the Wedgewood Clinic (especially the walk-in clinic on Pierpont Drive). I’ve been looking for a doctor in Morgantown ever since I moved here two years ago, but I had yet to land on one when my boyfriend now suggested Wedgewood. I’m always sure to investigate into peer reviews on these places to refrain from any negative experiences. The reviews on here are terrible. They had me a nervous wreck approaching my visit to speak to someone about my anxiety/depression. I came immediately home from my visit and hopped on here to say this: That was the most amazing visit to a medical facility I’ve had thus far. The front desk women (especially Brittany, Ashley, and Sandra) were so welcoming and kind to me. They were prompt and thorough with my paperwork, and even chatted with me about some local cafes. Sweet girls! I saw Jennifer Underwood, PA who was informative, understanding, and made me feel accepted like my concerns mattered, and even adjusted my medication to make me more comfortable against her initial suggestion. Also, her nurse Lauren had me perfectly at ease. She was sweet, fun, enthusiastic, and after expressing my feelings about my mental health she was very empathetic with me and related to me on a personal level. I’m excited to go back, and these ladies deserve at least a 5 star rating. Thank you, all.

I love my doctor but i have left several messages on the nurses line about 2 different instances over the last 3 months and no one has called me back. Thankfully it isn't life threatening but like the other reviews, no one calls. I'll be finding another doctor.

Nothing but positive experiences at Wedgewood Family Practice at all three locations. Been going there for over thirty years and referred my mother, aunts, and friends. Just called and was completely satisfied by the way my call was handled. Both my husband and I have had excellent visits with both of our doctors for regular appointments and walk-ins. The staff has been efficient and helpful. :)

Dr Johnson is great but they have to answer the phones for you to make an appointment. They don't seem to be very good at that.

Every time we have come here for urgent care needs we are seen quickly. The staff is friendly, professional, and informative. I would definitely recommend them.
