Dr. Iskandar is great! He has helped me a lot, and I trust him. The only reason I give him 4 is because of the price. If you have something that you feel needs to be addressed, he addresses it.

He is so different from my previous experiences with psychiatrists. He took his time and really listened to me, involved me in my treatment plan and follows through on issues - best decision ever to make the switch.

Didn't care for the lack of professionalism in the office. Felt judged by the therapist (who really just bullshited her way through the sessions). Dr iskandar didn't really make me want to open up about my issues, not that he tried anything more than asking prompted questions. Didn't actually prescribe/suggest anything to help my anxiety disorder even though he was aware of increasingly frequent panic attacks and physical effects of my anxiety. He even acted like he thought I might not be telling the truth. Didn't make eye contact with me at all, or treat me as an individual. He inappropriately lectured me about my smoking habits and use of herbal medicines to help my anxiety/depression. He then lectured me about not being on birth control so much that the only way to end it was to finally admit embarassing details and the sensitive truth that we were trying to become pregnant but were unsuccessful. He treated me as if I were stupid and all of my input, thoughts, and feelings were irrelevant. I left feeling like I definitely hadnt received proper mental health care, and felt worse about my issues on top of it.

Dr. Iskandar is the best doctor I could have ever hoped for. He is very intelligent and perceptive, and works hard with me to keep my medication straight, and has helped me tremendously since I started going to see him. The office staff are also very friendly and helpful, which makes the experience of going to a doctor much less daunting. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs help with mental health.

Dr. Iskandar is patient and helpful with my stepdaughter . He is also very knowledgeable about pediatric psychiatric behaviors and medications. He has been a wonderful find for us! My only complaint is that he isn't covered by insurance - but, if he was, he probably wouldn't be so wonderful!

I started seeing Dr. Iskandar about a year ago. He is very kind and I felt very comfortable opening up to him about my everyday struggles at home and at work. Opening up about my problems is not something that comes easy for me. I do a lot of research on my own and he did not push any specific form of therapy or medication and instead allowed me to decide what route I wanted to take. He also picked up on issues I didn't even know I had. His staff is very friendly and usually remember me, unless it's been a few months, which is understandable. They're also very responsive and easy to get a hold of if you need them. I'd say the only negative is that they don't file insurance for you, but I think that's pretty standard. They are "in-network" for me and my insurance company does reimburses me, but I have to do all the work, which is a bit of a hassle. His new location on Electric Road feels a little more clinical, which I actually dislike, but it's very nice and convenient to where I live.

Dr. Iskandar is truly amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate & supportive. He is dedicated and spends time understanding and working with you. He has changed my life in so many positive ways. His office and the office staff make you feel comfortable and important.
