A very nasty and disengaged demeanor. You go in for your appointment and she is reclined in her chair, with her face stuck on her laptop. A complete lack of empathy or intent to understand your condition. If you are seeking to get help, I HIGHLY recommend not going here, as you will likely be handed a prescription without having really addressed your condition. I was prescribed such a high dose of sleeping pills that I slept for over 24 hours!!!

Dr Baylis is a caring and wonderful Doctor. I have been going to her for at least 10 years. She returns calls herself and within half an hour.

Was very cold and withdrawn. Which would have been fine if she had been a little more skillful. Was very inflexible unwilling to recognize when she made a mistake which were more than a few. I was very disappointed

I am quite surprised to see the negative reviews. Dr. Bayliss is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, timely and efficient; I could not have asked for a better experience. I've been dealing with psychiatric professionals for over 20 years, and she is heads and tails above many doctors I have encountered. She really listens, and I feel like she is truly working with me for the best possible outcome. I would absolutely recommend her.

It seems I had a similar experience with Dr. Bayliss as some others. I found her to be very insensitive and it made me very hesitant to trust her. Also, I agree with what someone said about canceling appointments. I had to cancel an appointment because I found out I had to work and I called to cancel just 15 minutes shy of 24 hours ahead and she charged me a $75 fee. Also, although I have completely paid her off, I kept getting letters saying I owed her almost $400. Even when I called and thought it was over, I received a call from a collections agency saying I still owed the same amount. And even after calling her office again and thinking it was over, I checked my credit report and it still shows as an open account in collections. I would've been better off not ever going to her in the first place.

I'm really surprised by the negative reviews. I've been seeing Dr. Bayliss for years and wouldn't consider going to anyone else. She is attentive, sensitive and has a very easy going manner. I adore her and have received excellent care from her over the years.
