I feel like my feelings towards my TMS experience are so overwhelmingly positive that I don't really know how to put it into words without sounding banal or corny. With that risk in mind, however, I will say that I've been depressed for a very, very long time and this is the only time in my life that I've felt great relief from depression (in technical terms, my good ol' PHQ-9 depression scores went from the high 20s into remission) other than during the times in my life where I was on so much medication that I could barely emote and slept for, like, 12 hours a day. It is a godsend (science-send?) to not consider 'being depressed' to be at the very forefront of my identity every second of every day and to not feel like 'feeling good' has to come with great physical sacrifices due to side effects. I feel lucky to have undergone treatment with such an empathetic and intellectually rigorous group of women and would highly recommend PCN across the board. If you are suffering, TMS is certainly worth giving a chance. :)

The office is in a small and nondescript building, but the inside is clean and welcoming for the services provided there. The staff are wonderful, attentive, and supportive during the entire process. I was worried that scheduling might be an issue but the location works well for various commutes and they seem careful to not book more clients than the staff could easily handle at any time.

Firstly, the staff really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable; they seem to genuinely care about you and helping you get better. The psychiatrist I saw went above and beyond what I expected and was truly empathetic and knowledgeable. Secondly, TMS has been a godsend for my treatment of depression. Pharmaceuticals never worked for me: I always had bad side affects from drugs, not to mention they didn't work.
