I am very sad on how I was treated upon trying to schedule a new appointment. Lakeshia or whoever answered the phone was very rude. Didn't want to schedule me and found every way possible to get me to not schedule. When asked how much it would be (money not an issue) she states around $400 or more and kinda laughed as if this is a laughing subject. Many wonder why people suffer in silence and its people and places like this that make it hard and uncomfortable for people that have a mental issue to even get seen or the help they need. There should be a change. Upon scheduling it should be very easy and safe but it wasn't. Never had I ever had a problem with this hospital until today. Very unprofessional coming from a medical background, I would never treat my new patients with such disregard for care knowing how taboo this subject is. She should be replaced. Unfortunately I am still looking for care, and this will defiantly effect me in the future to even make the first step and try to find a place.

At first I was scared to come here because of the recent reviews, but I'm glad I came anyway. The staff was very friendly and it was such a calm and quiet environment which helps to calm my nerves. After meeting Dr. Starla Harrison I was sold. She is very understanding and such a good listener, I felt good about opening up to her and making me feel safe and accepted. 10/10

Office is poorly run. Had a therapy session and was walked to the front desk to check out. I pulled my wallet out to pay but the therapist told the office that she had a code for them and that there would be no charge. The front office receptionist printed out my paperwork for my visit and told me I could leave. I was perfectly fine with paying and was very surprised there wasn’t going to be a charge. Now 2 months later they are trying to call and harass me, saying I owe them money and that they never told me there was no charge. This is you just trying to cover your incompetence. If payment was required I would have happily payed while I was standing there with my credit card in my hand. They would not have just let me leave and hand me my paperwork without paying first. Take some responsibility for your screw up.

These people are so incompetent. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if your looking for experts. If I could give a zero I would.

I was going through some difficult trials in my life and needed some counseling to get through it. I was being attacked from every side and I was referred to Dr. Izabella Dutra De Abreu. She was of NO HELP, 1st her translation from her language to English was pathetic and she understood NOTHING. She was judgmental and had very little understanding of anything I discussed with her. She repeated what I said to her in confidence and was in violation of HIPAA on several levels and she LIES. Of course when I reported her, they automatically dismissed my case because they work with her. SHE DID NOT HELP BUT ADDED TO THE STRESSFUL SITUATION I WAS IN. My advice to you is seek an AMERICAN doctor with ethics and try to find someone outside of UT Southwestern! I did make it through that rough time in my life with the help of JESUS and not Dr. Izabella Dutra De Abreu!
