I read all of the negative reviews, but I still wanted to give this place a shot. Unfortunately, it was wrong of me to do so. To save anyone the spiel below: don't come here if you need a comfortable environment to discuss your situation/feelings. That should be what any mental health institution strives to accomplish, but this place seems to want to achieve the exact opposite. I came to my appointment 10 minutes early, but unfortunately unprepared as I forgot there was paperwork to be done. The woman at the front desk was - as most of these reviews suggest - unnecessarily rude about it. Does she really think that people who may have anxiety are not aware when they are late (for being early) or that they don't already feel pretty bad when they forget something at a new appointment? It wasn't an encouraging first impression that I wanted for a place I came to for help that I really need. Knowing from the comments that she would have been rude, I set that expectation aside and was ready to be helped by Dr. Tracy Figlan. Unfortunately again, she too was entirely unhelpful. I felt like I was being grilled and interrogated rather than being put at ease in any way. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone who needs a more sensitive environment because I felt incredibly uncomfortable in this appointment. I wanted to cut my session early and leave. The room was weird too because there were shadows cast on the doctor so I could hardly even see her. I felt so uncomfortable that I just kept saying the wrong things and I felt way too nervous to seriously answer her questions with the depth needed. Instead I just felt like I was on trial and I didn't want to open up to that kind of person about the extent of my trauma. Because of that she brushed me off and then made a snide remark about me. She recommended me to a different therapist at this practice but I would never give my money to this place after that. I hope this place changes from making people think they're going to jail to being the kind of place you actually want to discuss your real situation in. Until then, I'm taking my money elsewhere.

The process of finding a qualified therapist who also cares for your well-being can be a daunting challenge. In some cases, it can take several sessions with several different medical professionals to determine who will not only be your advocate but who will also be able to assist you. The staff at Pondworks understand this feature of mental healthcare, and they will work on your behalf to help you find the best practitioner for your specific needs. With that said, I have found an expert practitioner in Isadora "Dorre" Fox. As my needs have changed, she has adapted her approach so that I am continuously challenged; however, she has done so with a quiet empathy and a firm resolve. So, if your focus is on self-improvement and you believe that patients should work with practitioners rather than to be "treated" by them, then I highly recommend contacting Dorre to determine if she is the best therapist for you. And remember, maintaining your mental health is a process and not a fix. Be patient with yourself and your practitioner.

Received a call 90 minutes before my scheduled appointment that the provider was unable to make the appointment. If I did that to them, it would cost me $150. In her voice message, she asked me to call the main line and reschedule the appointment. NO ONE ANSWERS THE MAIN LINE and the voice message tells me to go online and set up an appointment. NEVER MIND!!!! Really, really frustrated to receive this call 90 minutes before our appointment. I've been looking forward to this for weeks and now disappointment. Forget it. Not coming back.

I was seeing Tracy Figlan, APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC , for some anxiety I was having from starting my own company. She prescribed me some medication and it helped but also made me extremely tired so I quit taking it after a few months . Things were going pretty well off the medication and I was really busy moving my company to a new location but I planed on going back. After a few month I called to make a appointment. They told me I owned them a 25 dollar co pay and could not set up a new appointment until I paid them . I asked them if I could pay when I came in for my next appointment and the refused.

My daughter who is 23 tried to go to Pondworks. She could not find where they were located so she missed her appt. The second appt. she tried to find them again had an anxiety attack and could not make it. She called the other day realizing she really did need some help. They would not take her since she missed 2 appts. They said this was there policy. They never told us what there policy was to begin with and how can you be a Psychiatrist working with people who have issues but have this ridiculous policy. If I would have given up on my daughter on the 2nd go around I would hate to think where she would be today. This should be a place of patience, understanding and have a loving environment. I am glad my daughter will not be going here because they do not have the qualities they we are looking for in a great Psychiatrist. If you are looking for a compassionate Psychiatrist I would run in the other direction. If you are looking for a cold environment you have found it!

This is a good place. Staff are patient, thoughtful and amazing and the doctors are very insightful and unbelievably thorough in sessions. I couldn’t give Pondworks a higher recommendation after working with so many other places.

Previously had a great experience at this place with Dr. Isadora Fox, but unfortunately she has left to work full time on her Ph.D., and I ended up having an appointment with Dr. Tracy Figlan instead. She's astonishingly unprofessional: came across as very unfriendly (no smile, no handshake, no introductions, does not maintain eye contact), was completely unprepared for the initial appointment (started reading my chart after I was in her office), was verbally dismissive of my feelings and concerns, as well as of previous doctor's recommendations. I had no choice but to walk out of the appointment after a couple of minutes, and will not be coming back.

I followed up to Trisha about my dissatisfaction with the front desk and she was disrespectful, condescending, and flat out rude. This is a terrible company... don't waste your time and money here. Plenty of other qualified practices out there. I will never be coming back to this business!

Clinical staff is great. Unfortunately the trend in the medical profession of office/administrative staff being less than helpful is present here as well. Waited two weeks for a prescription, was told by my medical professional that it would be available for pickup on Friday. Braved a terrible thunderstorm to get it because on fridays they close the office at 1. Got there at 12:30 to find the door locked and although I could hear voices within they would not answer. Left a voicemail and left. Got a call from the office later that day where I was informed that yes they had been there, but chose not to answer the door and my prescription wasn't ready anyway. All this was presented in the snippiest most arrogant manner possible. You will NEVER get a "live" voice when you call and will probably not hear from anyone for at least a day or two. You can't rely on the information provided but they want to get bitchy when you're upset about it.

The mental health professionals here are great, but the awful work environment ruins their care. The owners and management are not professional and sadly that has ruined my experience here. I kept having issues with the front desk about my payments, being charged incorrectly, being charged on my card when not at an appointment and other issues. I once I used the "Talk to the Manager" option, but instead of being interested in my concerns, they argued with me that those things couldn't have been possible, yet I have the receipts and statements showing it did. No attempt to remedy the issues. The next week, when I went to my next appointment, it happened again.

Trey Irvin

maybe it's me idk. but I haven't had good experiences here. I have never felt like I was leaving with valuable advice, or tools to help myself. I'm sure it really just depends on your own personal situation.
