I would give it a 5 star rating, seems I've finally found and gotten the true help I have been needing for awhile. The reasoning for the 4 stars is because I had to switch doctors in the same building because I was being misdiagnosed. The previous psychiatrist I'd seen hadn't had much interest in my personal issues. I was paying 100's of dollars, yet still feeling awful. I then switched psychiatrists and he truly wants to help me. Made me feel as if someone is FINALLY listening to me and willing to help figure it all out. Thank you North Point Psychiatry.

(The girls working upfront change from time to time, some of them are nice but some of them have been pretty rude. The biggest reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they charge $10 everytime you call and ask for a prescription. I don't know if this is an industry standard but it doesn't seem right for a phsyciatist to charge a mental health patient an extra amount to simply send a prescription to a pharmacy .) I decided to add to my original posting. I have been trying to make an appointment for about a couple of days now and I have been sent to voicemail every single time. There might be factors I'm not aware of but at a first glance I feel an incredible amount of blatant disregard for patients.

Really good clinic Pete is a good listener. I would recommend Pete. The four star rating is because of Brett Mennasa. He yelled at me in front of the receptionist which was uncalled for. They have good psychiatrists but I would avoid the therapist at all costs. He is rude and unprofessional and not very helpful. He lashes out at his patients. The psychiatrists are really good listeners and spend time with you. I would go to North pointe for medication management but not for therapy.

The office is friendly and always very kind and supportive. I love Miriam and she is the best. I would recommend her to everyone I know. They treat you with compassion and really listen to you. I won’t go anywhere else. Thank you North Pointe for being so amazing!

Go here if.... You like waiting hours after your appointment time to finally be seen. You love driving out into the middle of nowhere just to find that your doctor is out for the day. You enjoy waiting days for your doctor to send anything to the pharmacy. You can’t help but find some sort of masochistic joy out of feeling as though your wellbeing isn’t a priority. Our most recent experience has yet to be resolved. We have been waiting days for the doctor to send a prescription to a specific pharmacy so that we can move out of state. The staff was made aware of the urgency yet we are now multiple days behind schedule with all of our belongings packed. The doctors here will not treat you as though you are any sort of priority. That has been made abundantly clear.

I called to confirm appointment almost two weeks ago. I called again to double check the next week to see if they had earlier appointments avaliable for the same day the appointment was due to it being on the Memorial Day holiday. They said appointment is confirmed still but no open appointments because they are booked. I was fine with that. Then they call me the Thursday before my appointment and tell me something came up and they need to reschedule. I booked my appointment 3 months in advance and confirmed appointment twice!!! They lied to me because another practitioner could have seen my son but no they were really closing for the holiday. The lady told me I can come in the day they called me but I was at work and can't just leave my schedule to accommodate theirs. I told them I can schedule a month out due to others in my office already have vacation plans. They said that's fine but can't fill the prescription until seen. Really? So my son went have his meds for 30 days. They cancelled with us! I asked for them to have Dr Islam call me and their response was he is very busy and probably won't call me. We all have busy schedules too. For the record. .he did not call me. If he was concerned for my childs well being he would have called us.

This is a horrible office! The staff is rude! If you have an appt and are ON TIME, someone who is late, but had an appt before you gets to be seen first! What? If your late, you should have to wait to be fit in. We have always had to wait between 1.5 and 2.5 hrs to be seen even if we’re on time. The only reason we go here is because there aren’t many psychiatrists that treat children in the area. My daughter turns 18 next month and we will be changing to a much more professional office.

The front staff (Cassie!!!) Is always so incredibly helpful. I see Brett as much as I can, and I am not the best client with time management, but he has been there through thick and thin with me....ALWAYS shows true compassion. The doctors are running late sometimes, but they also fit in emergency needs as much as possible, so with understanding I think I'm getting good treatment. Denton location is wack yo get to, but is a recommended facility. PS Have I mentioned how much Cassie helps?! Girl needs a raise!

Never spoken with an actual person ANY time I’ve called. Lucky to get a call back within the same day. No matter how good the doctors are it won’t matter if you can’t get the help you need from an ineffective office staff.

Marian Fabyan has absolutely terrible time management. I have never been seen less than 20 minutes late. Last time sat for 45 mins before rescheduling. Then this last time waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes. She then lied and said I was not checked in the last time even though I watched her call the next person before me. The front desk confirmed this and even texted her to let her know she skipped me. She never gave me an apology nor would answer any of my questions. She would only tell me to take it up with the office manager. STAY AWAY, far away!!!

Horrible staff and front office. Never do a call back and will not answer the phones through out the day. You’ll be lucky to hear from anyone in the office. I have to take the time out of my schedule between my work breaks just to come there and pay for my refill. Super ridiculous, I’ll probably end up going to Lewisville location if this problem continues.

Poor communication, long wait times are habitual, although recently this hasn't been as bad, however the doctors are very rude and condescending toward, we've switched multiple doctors since being here, and every time it gets worse. Almost seems like they just want your co-pay and for you to leave rather than to help or treat.
