The front staff and office manager is horrible at their Baytown location. They treat and talk to people as if their crazy and have no compassion or empathy. They have terrible attitudes and lack when the slightest amount of professionalism. They have no idea what the privacy act is so be prepared for then to share your information with people you may know, in my case my sister. They treat people as if they're just another crazy person they have to deal with. There's no use in going to the manager because she's just as bad and instead of trying to resolve any problems she choses to confront you and prove you wrong. You never get to see the actual doctor which is illegal unless there's an emergency. I do not recommend this doctor at all. Save yourself from the pain and judgement you're already going through enough if you need these services.

Horrible. Just horrible customer service. Pick another place! We have seen the "doctor" once and EVERY time after is a nurse.

Great service , meet the Dr once and after that he has his PA's do the follow up appts. But they are in touch with Dr on everything so that doesn't bother me. Everyone is very nice here. No long waits which is awesome!

Our experience with the doctor himself has been okay. Customer service is generally horrible. They do not return calls and are not really helpful at all.

I have no complaints.

I've been seeing Dr. Ahmed for about 10 years. For my situation i will mot go see another doctor. The wjole stsff is amazing and caring. I see Dr ahmed and Dr. Ann. Love them both very much. Dr. Ahmed saved me several times in different situations. Everyones experience is different. But in my opinion he is a angel. Genuinely cares for your health

Went to doctor for my daughter and I. I paid $150 each a total of $300. Sat down with the Doctor for maybe 20 minutes for him to say nothing was wrong with my daughter and myself. I did not feel that diagnosis was correct so we went to another doctor to find out my daughter has a form of autism and I have bipolar depression. I'm glad my new doctor correctly diagnosed us our lives are great now. But after paying Dr Ahmed $300 I received a $200 bill in the mail. This doctor is ONLY out for money. Defineatley do not recommend this doctor

Wish I could give a 0 stars. They cancelled my appointment, claimed they tried to contact me but my phone was disconnected. I immediately contacted my phone company and there were no issues, they either simply did not call or couldn't dial the correct number. I made an appointment because I needed care and they denied me. This is disturbing.

Let start off that this has got to be the worse doctors office. My ex is taking my son to this Baytown office which he refuses to communicate with me about. I have legal judge signed custody paper which says I have every right to medical records. They would not make a copy to put in their files. Even filled out medical release form. Claudia who is over medical records calls me back. I have Claudia on a tape recorder which she says to me that the father told her to not give the records and not allow me to make appointments or be part of the sessions. That only the father and stepmother is allowed. For me to stop calling the office and hung up. I guess my ex runs their doctors office. Dr. Ahmed I suggest you contact me before I report your office to medical bored.

Worst doctors experience ever. We recently moved to the area and I had been on a search for a psychiatrist for my daughter to refill her medication. The office was not warm and welcoming. When we saw Dr. Ahmed he took one look at my daughter and judged a book by it's cover. He did not listen to what either she or I had to say at all. He did not offer to refill the prescription and get to know her and then discuss changes as any good doctor would have done with a new patient. Instead he announced that he was the expert and he knew what was best and he was not going to refill the prescription. I thought a psychiatrist was supposed to work with you to help you not push his book education on you. Every person is different and not everyone and every situation is textbook.

The initial intake was good with Dr. Ahmed then after that the man is a ghost never to be seen again. Once you get in the bounce you around to the different assistants and the assistants don't put proper notes so the next assistant doesn't have a clue what's going on. It's even worse if you go to their other location it's like your file gets lost and they don't have a clue either. I flat out stopped going and will never set foot there again.

No problems. My daughter sees Dr Ann in the Baytown office. She is the Dr (assistant) to see in that office. She treats my 16 year old & knows how to talk to her. I never feel rushed & she always makes us feel very comfortable, my daughter likes Tom too, he's the counselor there. I like him, but personally feel as though he takes a lot of time on the same issue. I personally see a psychiatrist in Pearland and have since 2009. She's absolutely great and her staff is caring. Unlike what I would say about the office staff here at this psych clinic. You can forget about calling for anything other than an appointment.

I had a horrid reaction to medicine and called 3 times and no one called back They did move me back to my original medicine, however it was after 2 weeks of being massively messed up from the medicine they felt I needed to try. I didn't enjoy meeting with their therapist he was really creepy and stared right through me... people should blink. You see a different person when you go back in for your follow ups. Not a fan of that but she was nice. They told me they could work with my husband current medicine. They refuse, understand the reasons, but wanted my husband and my time when they didn't enform us until after we scheduled. SMH. Good place. Just need to adjust some things.

Thank you all for your reviews, it has helped me alot.I am looking for a Dr. He is NOT THE ONE FOR ME!!! I HOPE ALL OF YOU ARE DOING WELL.

Office is terrible!! I was told that there was a office mistake and I had been undercharged for my copays and had a balance of $110 which I paid immediately without complaint. 5 years later and now I have a new collection pop up on my credit report from this doctor for $110!! Stay away from these incompetent crooks!!

Like many of the others on here, I too had a poor experience with Dr. Ahmed's office. I thought the initial intake process worked well and I did like the 2 other assistants that I visited, but it was incredibly difficult to get an appointment and it felt like they were more concerned with getting my monthly copay than my actual health and treatment. After 1 year of monthly doctors visits and prescriptions with Dr. Ahmed's office, my pharmacists told me that my prescription had been cancelled and I needed to contact my doctor. After contacting Dr. Ahmed's office, I was told that I was due for a consultation with Dr. Ahmed and I would not be able to obtain my prescribed medication until I met with him. However, they didn't have any appointments for a 1.5 months..... yeah. For someone on antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication, the last thing you should do is force them to go cold turkey without their prescribed medications. I promptly sought out another doctor and was much happier with that experience. I would advise anyone seeking a psychiatrist to look elsewhere.

So I called to make an appointment for my son because his current psychiatrist no longer accepts his insurance. I call and I get no answer so I left a voicemail. I get a call back and the girl asks me if I wanted to make an appointment and I told her I would like to for my son and explained what happened with his previous doctor and how they no longer accept his insurance. She then proceeds to ask what medication my son takes, so I told her. Then she says, "Well in order to make him an appointment you need to come to the office first and fill out new patient paperwork and then we can schedule him". I then said "Well your office is not close to where I live so can I just fill out the paperwork when I come for his appointment?" Then she says "Sorry, we can't" and then I was like "Well is there anyway that you can fax it to me and I can fax it back to you?" Then she says "No, we used to do that but patients would never receive all the paperwork and would always come in with unfinished paperwork so we stopped doing that" then I was like "Well this is very inconvenient! I don't live close by and I work so I can't take a day off work just to go to your office to fill out paperwork before I can schedule an appointment" she then says "Well that's our policy" At that time I was so frustrated that I said "you know what!? Nevermind!" I would not want my son coming here after receiving such horrible treatment by trying to make him an appointment. If they didn't care about helping me out I can most definitely tell my son would not be treated well by this office either. Instead I called his previous doctor and I am just gonna pay out of pocket for his visits because I know their staff and doctor trully cares about their patients. I would never recommend this office to anyone! If I could give no stars I would!

I came to see Dr. Ahmed after a suicide attempt. I have clinical depression and general anxiety. After being honest about how I was feeling, I ended up having to lie about how downhill I was going and how the medications weren't working. They really pushed institutions on me. Instead of working with my willingness to take what ever medication they prescribed me to find the one that worked for me. They have me lexapro. It caused me to have heart palpitations and a rapid heart beat. Also caused my anxiety to get so much worse. Had a few ECGs done, it isnt my heart. It's the medication. Medication they didnt want change unless I agreed to be institutionalized. Which I cant. Other wise, I would. Also saw Dr. Ahmed once. At my first visit. Other visits I saw someone else. She was nice. But it really just seemed like she couldn't make any decisions, she typed everything I said to DR. ahmed who then made the decisions.. I'm kind of glad I lost my insurance. I have an excuse to not go back and find a different doctor who didnt see me as "the suicide patient" and instead, as a human being who just wants to live.

I was referred to this doctor. The first time I saw him I informed him that I could not take antidepressants as they cause me serious adverse reactions. He prescribed me what he told me would be a safe medication. I took one pill and ended up in the emergency room. Instead of taking responsibility for this result, he projected the blame onto me and strongly insinuated that I had a mental illness because I could not take the antidepressant he prescribed. AVOID AVOID AVOID .

Absolute terrible experience. If I could give him 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO TO HIM!! Today was my first time seeing him and I am so incredibly disappointed with the way I was treated. I'm a mental health student and I'm very familiar with doctor-patient interaction and protocol, and today he broke numerous ethical codes within my visit. Not only did he jump to conclusions about the state of my mental health, he told me he expected me to attempt suicide, which if that was the case he should've taken it more seriously rather than rushing me out of his office. He showed absolute zero empathy, failed to even try and meet me halfway, couldn't refer me to a therapist after stating I needed to see one, told me the ways that I fail to show emotions, and was incredibly manipulative and confrontational while doing so. He felt that I had backed him into a corner because I was not okay with taking antidepressants, especially considering I am not depressed and have had very traumatic experiences taking them in the past. I came to him for my anxiety and inability to focus and I left crying over the way I was treated. I am praying that other people are not receiving the same care I got from him today, because I truly fear the worst for anyone who comes to him in a state of crisis. Please, please look elsewhere for care, not every psychiatrist is like this and Dr. Young is much more empathetic towards patients and is in the same area. Do not risk causing your mental health anymore harm by going to see this doctor.

Jesse Ortega

Staff was unprofessional and "entitled"...when I called them on it, they accused me of being disrespectful. Too bad Dr. Mohamed, your staff failed your job interview. I will not be hiring you as my doctor. The other reviews paint a very common problem at this office.

keuven

Told me to kill myself horrible doctor and try to push his beliefs on me

Rebekah Henry

if i could give zero stars i would. as others have stated, the office staff act as if they are doing u a favor just by being there to occupy the space behind the window. the doctor is horrible. he pushes u onto pills and then takes them away abruptly, without warning or consultation, or any concern for the patient. he flat out does not care if he ever sees u again, or if u get better, or worse. the subordinates you get passed around among, after your one initial consultation with the doctor, either dont take proper notes, or dont communicate, and are entirely ineffective. sure, they are nice, they are practically robots. the office also double bills u and the insurance company. no one that walks into that office is a patient. ur a nuisance only tolerated because of the $100 bill pinned to ur shirt.

Horrible experience, my son never got pass the gate keeper! I will never go there again... One of the staff members displayed poor office etiquette... Our experience was similar to the other posting dealing with one particular office staff... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Tammy Parker

Horrible experience. Won't go into detail but I can guarantee he has no problem lying straight to your face when he's pretending to help you. Like other people I wish I could give no stars. He probably won't make you better but he can make you alot worse.

Heather Stoffregen

Dr Ahmed is wonderful! He is an amazing psychiatrist. He has given me my life back and I am back to the things I enjoy in life. I don't know where I would be without the clinic. Life is very much worth living!

Rita Fox

So far we have had good experiences. Dr. Mike and Kathy are wonderful. My son has been doing much better since going to this office.

0 Stars if I could. Very disappointed in this office. The customer service awful. I went in for slight anxiety and had a few appointments but trying to speak to anyone other than the extremely rude front desk ladies is next to impossible. When they called to update me about my next appointment I told them that I would like to cancel and when asked why I calmly replied that I don't really like them and the attitude I receive. 2 weeks later I receive a letter in the mail stating that they will no longer be able to serve as my psychiatrist with Dr. Ahmeds signature on it. So this just goes to show that he has absolutely no care about his patients being treated poorly by his staff. This is very sad seeing as this is a place to help people with their mental health issues God forbid someone with suicidal thoughts comes in and gets treated like garbage from them and it pushes them off the edge it will be these peoples faults.
