Dr. Martha St. John is laid back, cool, and absolutely brilliant. I started seeing her in 2013 when I had good health insurance and I thank God that she is still affordable thru self pay without any health insurance. Best psych I've ever seen.

The staff doesn't know what they are doing! They know nothing about insurance and have no consideration for the patient. They also cancel your appointments without reason. Very unprofessional! I dont care how good Martha is, not worth the aggravation received by staff since there are no consequences.

Reached out to this office several times to try and get some help, haven't heard one word back from them. Any office that actually answers the phone or replies to an email is already better than this place.

I have been seeing Martha since 2006. I Have seen many doctors and clinics and she has been the best ever. Great listener, up to day on science and really cares about your well being. She did stop taking my insurance, but I love her so much, I am still going to see her twice a year and pay the $125 office visit. My mental well being is worth it to see her and not have to find another doctor on Katy side of town.

I've been with dr St. John for almost 2 years now. She really listens and cares about your well being. She makes you feel very comfortable and pays attention to your needs. Most psychiatrists just renew your meds and send you on your way. But she takes time to make sure your alright.

Dr. St John is wonderful, I enjoy talking to her and she has helped me so much in my mental health journey. She discusses things with you, doesn't throw medicine at you and goes over all your options. I understand people are complaining about how long it takes to get an appointment but her specialty is in high demand with low supply of doctors these days, I had called several before her that either weren't accepting new patients or couldn't get me in for months - it is the nature of the beast with her specialty it has nothing to do with her skills and help as a professional.

Dr Martha St.John is very professional and is very efficient. I have been to another Psychiatrist who tried to make money out of my illness. But she is reasonably priced and made me feel like having MDD is no big deal. She is very straight forward in her approach. She yawns a lot during the session but never mistake that as lack of her interest. She is duly noting down everything you say and even after an year she remembers what I mentioned in my first session with her. I once forgot to carry my medication while on a vacation and I called her office during late hours and left a voice mail. they called me back first thing the next morning to send the prescription to a pharmacy near me. Only downside is getting an appointment with her as a new patient is very difficult. I waited for a few months before I could get hold of the receptionist on 1st of the month at 8 AM. And my appointment was given for a date that's 3 months in future

She is a good listener and has an easy conversational manner about her. She also stays up to date on the research going on with the medications she prescribes. She is the first psychiatrist to give me a really good alternative to the high price of my medication and after investigating it today I just realized I'm going to save 75% on my medication. I would definitely recommend her.

Called last month to schedule an appointment and I was informed that there was nothing available until August. She told me to call back June 14th. I call back and then tells me there are no appointments until September. I told her that I was informed to call back at this date to schedule an appointment and she said that she is the only person that handles appointments and insinuated that I made this up. Then the receptionist decided to be more information stating that I must call first thing in the morning because they only schedule appointments on certain dates and times. Would've been nice to know that the last time I called.

I don't recommend Martha St. John's office if you value yourself and your time. It took almost 3 months to book my 1st appointment and if you do not return the office's call to confirm your appointment within 24 hours, the office cancels your appointment. I found out in the waiting room that my appointment was cancelled. A SINGLE call/voicemail was made 5 business days prior to the appointment. No courtesy follow-up prior to the appointment date. My time is very valuable and lastly, I sincerely did not appreciate being asked to re-book my appointment which wouldn't occur for.....yes, in several weeks.

Martha St. John is first Psychiatrist that I have seen after my PCP would not change my medications. Martha was very helpful. During the first appointment I felt that she took her time to thoroughly gather a large amount of information regarding my conditions to make practical suggestions for treatment. She spent a great deal of time with me and I truly appreciated that. She has been very patient with me by continuing to try different medications until one finally worked. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a Psychiatrist.
