Ive had minimal time with this joke. My wife is in there. The first time i called to find out if i could talk to my wife. I think her name was Dominique. She was extremely rude and not helpful at all

This hospital has grown tremendously since the grand opening in January 2017. Yet MBH is still a small 20 bed facility, construction on the new unit is predicted to be open by mid August 2018 projecting another 20 open beds, bringing the total to 40 beds. MBH is also opening an AMAZING full court gym for the patients. The staff has met many challenges over the past year and a half. Finding staff who all have a passionate heart for mental health has also been a challenge. I think MBH now has an AMAZING team full of wisdom, compassion and knowledge for this hospital and most importantly the patients here. Patients at MBH are treated with respect and dignity. The pts are allowed snacks and beverages throughout the entire day, access to patient phone until 10 pm to call their loved ones. Go outside many times during the day. Tobacco is allowed multiple times a day. MBH provides church services, NA, AA, movie night, games etc.... Every business has challenges and makes small mistakes as they go.I believe what sets MBH aside is that we learn from our mistakes and challenges and continue to grow. We are a family here and we want our patients to feel the same.

Split my marriage up. My husband asked when they told him I was bipolar if there was a guarantee I would change. The nurse said she can make no guarantee. My husband walked out on me and left me. I had to stay 2 weeks due to the mental break down it caused me because I loved him and hurt so much. I asked the nurse why would she say that? She said cause there's no guarantee's in life. I said well you should have told him that before he walked out of my life forever. We have since divorced and he has since passed away due to a medical condition and we never got another chance again all because of how this hospital handled my situation and explaining my diagnosis.

The quality of the staff is really good. It takes several days to really get in the process and system but once you are the psychological assistance needed to help you understand why you are there is amazing. The process seems slow paced but non of us ended up there over night either. They will defiantly set you on the right path with many resources.

This hospital was a life-saver for me. They really care, and they just did so much for me. The staff all-around were very helpful and professional. The food was great too. It's a really good place.

I wish I could give no stars. This place is a joke they will mislead you just to get your loved one in. It's a money thing. How many beds can we fill. If you have private insurance don't go here. They will tell you what you want to hear and then you find out different. They are pushing meditation just to make a buck. You can bet I will be back every day to give a bad review if possible.

Had a great experience with the Dallas Outreach Specialist person. She was very nice helpful and understood my addiction problems. Even gave me her cell # to call if I had problems. The hospital isn't "The Promises" but come on people we aren't paying 80K so I think it's nice for a medicare place. NOT A HOMELESS SHELTER OR THE STREET! The Darryl Strawberry program saved my life!!! So DID this place. Thanks Ms Garcia and Celeste. BLESS YOU ALL!!

This place is truly amazing!! The staff are really helpful and want what is best for everyone for their patients! Natalie Carver and Allison Debruycker were instrumental in getting my mom the help she needed and deserved. Without them, she would not have been able to progress in her life. I am beyond appreciative for these ladies!! And this facility as a whole!! Thanks for doing what you do!!

This place is horrible, visited a friend there , staff was very unprofessional, he didn't receive the care he needed, & he said it was a unsafe environment!!

I had a great experience with this Hospital I was on the fath unit I want to go back to get further additional help but it is too long of a way from my family and my home if you do decide to go ask for the fath unit if they have a open bed

It is a shame what would be a considered a “trusted” facility (that should be dedicated to providing high quality patient care and treatment) would be deemed by our observances unsafe and lacking discipline for what we fear is patient exploitation for money. Story to long to go over, basically held against my will. I advise you to NOT go here.

MH-JH Calendar

This place is horrible. Please do not take a loved one here. In fact, it would be cruel to take an enemy here. Patients only see licensed psychiatrist or psychologist for 15 minutes each day via skype. Once they get a person in there even if they admit themselves, you have to threaten legal action to get them out. This place is only a cash cow for the parent company. If you want REAL treatment for a loved one, take them to ETMC Behavioral Health in Tyler. I wish we had. My husband did not feel safe there and even with his problems, knew things were not on the up and up there.

Although they are accepting Medicare again they are in NO WAY equipped to deal with senior mental health needs given that they deal more with chemical dependency. No family circle of support happened as it should of to truly address the issues and was discharged last minute on a hasty decision of an inadequate doctor. The only thing the individual learned in this facility from the inappropriate placement was “fake it till you make it” to get out.

Unless you are suicidal or on drugs this place isn’t interested in helping you. I tried to commit myself because I’m ready to just walk away from everything and feel like I a having a mental breakdown and they wouldn’t help me and I have private insurance. Only place in Longview for anyone under 50 I guess we don’t count. That so helps me mentally.

Worst place to go to get help they have a male nurse who smuggles drugs in and offers them the patient they should be shut down!
