I am so thrilled to have found the lovely Dr. Lasseter and her warm, inviting practice when I did. I was on the road to healing from some severe postpartum mental illness when we met. I'm not talking run-of-the-mill PPD or baby blues. I am talking 4 hospitalizations, thousands of dollars, countless doctors, medications, treatments and so much hopelessness. I would have manic episodes every single month during my cycle starting 8 months postpartum and no one could really explain it. Dr. Lasseter took the initiative with my case, listened with compassion and really cared to help me heal in a way that worked for me. I am so grateful for her. Also, her actual, physical practice is a non-sterile, beautiful space. This may be surface to some people but after spending so much time in cold, lifeless offices and spaces, it was refreshing to me and really helped me to relax, which in turn allowed me to get down deep and begin recovering. I am no longer a client because I have moved away and have found alternative healing avenues, but I would recommend Dr. Lasseter and her practice in a heartbeat. If you or your love one is suffering, especially in the perinatal period, and you live in Central Texas, do yourself a favor and make an appointment. You won't be sorry!
