After 4 days he said the patient was not a suicidal person and that she just has a problem with Xanax. The patient had 20+ years of addiction to pain meds and documented records in multiple hospitals stating the fact, not to mention several witnesses testimonies saying she wanted to kill herself. After 3 different family members called with their concerns and proof. he said she is ok to be released.

I first became a patient of Dr. Chen in 2011. I was at one of the most lowest points In my life. I felt hopeless and thought I could never recover. I felt there was no help, in a world that felt so dark and terrible. But life had other plans for me. I was nervous, I felt so uncomfortable walking into the room to first meet him. After seeing mulitble psychiatrists in my life, I considered them all the same, they treated me like another cattle to be herded into pharmacy land. But when I sat before him, there was something different about him. He treated me like a person and actually listened to what I had to say. He went over my treated plans and what I needed to do to get better. After multiple visits I had improved so much, everyone around noticed a difference. I couldn’t believe how insightful and truly professional he was. I really owe my life to him and Nurse Practioner Delilah Hampton. They have both been life changers and are truly one of the best and most experienced Doctors I have met. They always take the time to customize your treatment. It is now 2018, and I will never change doctors, because I truly think they are the best option in terms of psychiatric treatment in the Houston area. A+ rating.

Well I haven't seen the Dr. But the girl that answered the phone was not helpful.. Was not professional . I was referred by a patient of theirs... But they said they have too many Medicare patients... So I SD what about Medicaid she said we have to many... I explained I really need help... She said we'll we can't help you call some other Drs or ya insurance OK. ..

I usually see Lenore and Dr. Frank Chen; I've been a patient of Dr. Chen for 15 years. The level of care I have received from both of these individuals is truly above and beyond any I've ever experienced from any other provider. Recently my husband called the office and left a voice message because I was not doing very well. Dr. Chen himself called me the same day to check on me and to figure out how to proceed with my complex condition. He prescribed medications right away because he takes care of his patients first. The next evening my husband gets a call from both Dr. Chen and Lenore to check on me. I've never known any providers that care that much to make house calls just to make sure their patient is doing okay. The office told me the day before that both Lenore and Dr. Chen were booked until July. When my husband told Lenore that over the phone she insisted I come to be seen the very next day....she made time for me even though she was booked. She still spent allot of time with me. Honestly...I have been a very difficult patient to deal with over the years. Dr. Chen and Lenore have been so patient, kind, and caring. These two really do save lives. They have always came to my rescue every single time I needed them. This is just one time of many.

He was great at first but when it came time to get a refill on my 7 psych meds there was no way to get ahold of him!!! Oh, and he doesn't take patients "in office" (his private practice) you would have to go to the psych hospital to get ANY help. Good luck with that.

Dr. Chen and his team have been looking after me since...a long time. From reception to checkout, I am always treated with friendliness and professionalism. It is rare for me to wait longer than 10 minutes to see a provider, and their care is easily accessible after hours via Web, email, and phone. It is easy for me to recommend Dr. Chen's practice.

they are maxed out with CHC patience so they will not take me after I signed up with CHC specifically knowing they accept that insurance. Bummer
